Great ambiance with very delicious burgers. They were discounted on the day we visited too! Will come back again!

We had a big group and the service was great and the food was very very good. I recommend the Parma and their espresso Martini!

calamari's great! warm and lively atmosphere, central location, good service, american style food in general

drinks (wine, champers) are quite expensive though so i'd steer clear of them

Fantastic venue. I really really liked it.
The setting & atmosphere of the venue, the staff & service, the menu & actual dishes etc.
The drinks list offers a good range of drinks in terms of variety of beverage & grade.
The menu is equally diverse, with options for more tapas/shared dining style, as well as more traditional a la carte. Regardless of what you choose, I think it would be a good experience. We went with a la carte plates, but eye the tapas plates of other tables with excitement (got a glimpse of delights such as soft shell crab tacos, crunchy looking patatas bravas, pork carnitas).
For our table, we had spanner crab salad with charred corn, scallops ceviche, wood roasted milawa chicken with wild mushrooms, wood bbq steak with a salsa & sauce. The flavours were brilliant - fresh & lively.
Dessert did not disappoint either - caramelized pineapple, coconut & lime trifle, pavlova with passionfruit cream anglais finishing the meal off with a sweet yet refreshing & zippy note.
I would recommend a visit.
I also liked the bill when it came out. Newmarket offers a good value proposition.

Hip & trendy refurbed gastro-pub serving delicious Latin American & Mexican fare. The atmosphere is relaxed yet high-end, the food is exactly the same. We went there in February 2014 with our friends and got the SoCal Spread ($55/head) deal which is a bargain price given the massive amount of food you get served!! This is a fantastic spot to catchup with friend, the service is fast & friendly. Highly recommend! We came as a group of 12 for a thursday night birthday dinner at 6:30pm. Despite coming early (and with a booking) the Newmarket filled up quickly, creating a nice and 'buzzy' atmosphere. The food was fast to arrive and easy to order, with the staff assisting in ordering tapas and share plates for the group. It was easy to find a staff member to take an order at any time and overall the experience was very easy but on the more up-market, expensive side.

I had lunch here today with couple of workmates and we were all impressed by the range of truly authentic Mexican dishes on the menu. We actually ended up ordering and sharing half a dozen dishes from the Latin street food menu. I've only ever been as far as Tijuana (!) but they assured me that this is just what you can expect elsewhere. Spicy, wholesome food with heaps of flavour. Well worth a visit. It's a shame we had to go back to work cos it would have gone really well with a beer.

Approximate cost: $60 all up for 3

Dined there two weeks ago with a party of six. I have heard lots of good things about this place but it was even better than expected. I love the Mexican theme - there is something for everyone. Great vibe, lots happening and fantastic food and service. The staff were very helpful and I cannot wait to go back. Bookings essential unless you want to eat at 6pm or 10pm.

Approximate cost: $30

So impressed! Fabulous Mexicam food, with a modern flare. We were a group so we had the $75 set menu, expensive yes, but well worth it I'd say, it was a wonderfully way to taste so many dishes. The prawn tacos were Incredible!! I will definitely be going back

Approximate cost: $40
