Heartbreaking.
I went 6 weeks ago & it still looks awful. I showed the hairdresser a picture and she assured me she could give me that style. I kept saying... not THAT SHORT.
As it is growing out, there are so many jagged edges and hair ranging from two to five cm, in the same area.
Never again

WORST experience ive ever had at a hairdressers. Wasted 5 hours of my life because they couldn't get a basic blonde balayage colour correct. I walked out looking ridiculous and they had the nerve to tell me it's what I asked for!?! I walked in with 5 photos (all very simple and creamy in colour) I walked out with dark brown at my roots and grey hair!! No joke. I actually cried. I never write reviews or speak up, however when a salon is this incompetent and rude to a customer I have no other choice, I need to warn people if they are first time visitors like me.

I have curly hard to manage hair. I found Chrissy (who works at Eltham although does 1 day at Malvern) do be a great cutter who can cut curly/wavy hair properly. Very happy with Chrissy.

Great hair salon. The only problem is its very popular so hard to get an appointment without plenty of notice.

Since the Masci in Chadstone has closed, I've been trying out the other Masci salons. This one is much closer than the Bourke St one so I thought I'd give it a try. The service was up there with the rest the other Mascis - offering you coffee/tea when you walk in etc. I quite liked my haircut, and the price was pretty decent. I'll probably look for another hairdressers before going back though.
