Entertainment and dinner all in one! We were recommended by a friend, and were quite interested to go. Staff weren't very chatty but did their jobs very well. We had all kinds of meat and vegetables and enjoyed joining in with the cooking!

Came here for a birthday gathering. Staff were quiet but friendly and attentive (we were the only group of people there at the time). We all had the Tokyo Grill Teppanyaki which the chef made entertaining but then it was our first time at a teppanyaki restaurant. Food was good quality but not outstanding and the portions did end up being on the small side. Overall as the rating stars say, pretty good but no wow.

Like the other reviewer mentioned, the place does smell funny, like shellac. As for the service, the wait staff was quite rude. They pushed their way in to get our plates and when I wanted milk with my coffee, the older waitress told me to "get it from someone else", basically wanted me to walk over to the other side of the table and get the milk from my colleague. The teppanyaki chef wasn't as entertaining as chefs from other teppanyaki restaurants I've been to. Yes they did the usual throwing of bowls and omelette but the chef wasn't funny and didn't speak much to us. He also didn't chop the prawns and meat with style. He was certainly boring to watch. I ordered the $58 teppanyaki set which I felt wasn't worth it at all! Food was too salty and salad was so dull. Wouldn't go back there for sure!

The first thing that greets you when you walk in the door is the smell of stale oil, staff was not attentive or very friendly either. The quality and quantity of whats on offer with their À la carte menu is definitely not worth the amount they charge, servings are exceptionally small. You can get better value and quality of sushi by going to your local sushi takeaway bars. Their food is very salty, especially the chicken teriyaki which should have sweetness to it but instead it was just plain salty. Very disappointing dining experience overall.

Eating in may be entertaining and hence value for money but take away is definitely not worth it. We paid over $60 for an entree and main each and we were still hungry. the food was worse than Sakura yet triple the price..bring on Sakura.

The best thing about this restaurant is that it is so entertaining. The staff are great and especially the cooks. They cook they food in front of you and catch it with your mouth (you don't have to though) The food is nice, but too pricey for what you get. It's about $50 for a set menu. Great for a special occasion, but I wouldn't come here just for dinner

Approximate cost: $50
