The staff were professional and courteous and the massages were brilliantly relaxing

Wonderful experience. Although did take quite a few phone calls and voice mails to get an appointment. But once I finally got in there I was happy I waited. Great products and experienced hairdresser :)
Would have been nice to be offered some water, tea or coffee. But that's not what we go to the hairdresser for is it?
I will see how how the color goes over the next few weeks and will go back there if can get an appointment in time.
Overall I would recommend her for a fantastic and friendly organic experience :)

Very happy with the cut & colour! They use colour that is all natural, organic and chemical free, with no compromise on results.

I bought a Spurr group deal as i was keen to try out hairdressers in my area as I have just moved. Three weeks ago I started the process of trying to make an appointment.

Firstly, their phone number doesn't work, it hasn't worked the whole time. It goes straight to message bank where I am told that the message bank is full.

So I then WALKED into the store and made an appointment - the lady even apologised for the phone, said she was aware of the issues and that it has been fixed. (Hooray!)

I tried to confirm my appointment but alas, their phone is still not working.

I turned up to my appointment 15 minutes early to find a closed sign out the front. I waited for 20 minutes, no one turned up. Tried ringing the number, same problem with the phone.

I have checked their website - hilariously that doesn't work either and doesn't provide me any other numbers to try.

How exactly are these people in business?? Maybe that's why they had to advertise on a group buying site in the first place.

I most certainly will not be using them and I recommend that anyone who wants to by a deal might want to try ringing first to see if they have bothered to fix the phone.

Three Words: GO SEE KATHY!! I had an organic facial and mini pedi with Kathy last week and it was unreal! I was in complete bliss for about and hour and a half! Highly recommended and will definately be going back for more!

my hair had been destroyed by a previous colorist, i was nervous to let anyone touch my hair. the fabulous Chiquita & Nathaniel listened to what i wanted, reassured me, Chiquita explained the repair process. the organic products are Divine my hair felt & still feels amazing, the atmosphere was easy going and friendly. I felt like a million dollars when I walked out. value for money? definately! Chiquita was right - 'from brassy to classy' I'm going back.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant I was a bit dubious about getting my hair dyed but I really needed to feel good about myself. The owners explained to me how safe their products were which was very reassuring they new what they were talking about they weren't just doing a sales pitch. Everyone in the salon was friendly and happy and enjoyed what they were doing they could not have been more accommodating to my needs.
I went in looking like peasant and walked out looking like Cinderella. Thank you Chi, Ben, Julian and Nathaniel for making me feel special I really really needed it.

I went to House of Obsidian on a $49 deal for a half head of foils, cut and blow wave. I would be the customer from hell as I am an ex hairdresser who still keeps up to date. I can only say I got more than I paid for and all with excellent care, attention and a smile. My operater was Nathaniel who spent ages fixing the ad hoc foils I had put in my hair so now it is even, glamerous and because they use amonia free products my hair feels amazing. When it comes to cutting my hair I am annal and i have been to the salon that won "Salon of the Year" on this site however my experience with that salon was very disappointing, but not with nathaniel he cut it exactly as I asked and spent ages blow drying it as I liked. I can only say give them a go, I did and was very very happy.
