We browsed all the other menus along the Glenelg Pier and decided on this place as we wanted seafood. We were greeted quickly, handed a menu and taken to a table. We had a few moments to look over the menu and then a friendly waitress took our order. We ordered Salt & Pepper Squid ($33) and Salt & Pepper Whitebait ($22). Our meals came out promptly. Up until this we were very happy with the service and atmosphere of the restaurant, but this all ended when our meals arrived. Both the squid & whitebait was dry and tasteless. Very few chips, but the salad was nice. For the price we paid, we expected high quality meals but these did not meet our expectation.

The place, view and staff were all great but the quality of the food lets it down. We would not go back.

Hubby raved about his flake; he was in heaven! I had a large salad, small chips and dukkah with toasted bread which was amazing! Generous serves, good service and a really pleasant place to dine. I would prefer not to see the live crayfish in the aquarium waiting to be eaten though....

We bought a voucher for here recently for Oysters and Wine. The Oysters were very good, the wine went well with the dish. We did not stay for a meal although the menu did seem to have a nice variety although possibly a little high priced. Our voucher made for very good value though and the atmosphere was pleasant. A lovely summery evening for us adults and the service was excellent.

Went on a busy Saturday night, and was pleased with the great service and fantastic food. A really enjoyable experience

Unlike others, I found the service pleasant enough. The location is nice, but based on the food and the prices, I wouldn't return. The food is very nice though.

Original name but extraordinary quality of food. Their fish and chips are battered to perfection and the ocean view is marvellous. Pity it can be a little too pricey though.
