Stayed here one night on NYE. The hotel is very dated, but conveniently close to trams and has plenty of street parking as well as free parking for hotel guests. There is an outdoor swimming pool which we didn't try but looked clean, if small. The staff were all somewhat friendly, they were helpful with all our questions but did seem a little bit distant. The rooms were clean and were of a descent size, our twin room had 2 double beds and still had plenty of space. The bathroom was also a nice and spacious but all the decor and fittings probably needs an urgent update. It says something when instead of a feedback form in the room, you get a "tell us what's not working" form in the room.... lol perhaps I should have mentioned to them about the noisy air conditioner in our room, even though it wasn't turned on it still made a funny clicking noise....

Overall, the price was ok, it perhaps is not the cheapest hotel around for what you get, but location was ok if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the city.

Approximate cost: $169
