Taylor , makes the whole process , so enjoyable , she puts time and care into designing the right look ....and the result is perfect -the cut , is amazing - the pixie look . You cant go past Taylor -she cares and out so much energy and time on a Saturday to get the final hot look -thanks Taylor see you again for sure

Ladies, in no world is it worth $442 for foils and a take home hair treatment. (No blow dry, no cut). What's more, beware if you book online. They took a $122.50 deposit for my $245 foils/balayage and requoted once I was in the chair for toner and take home conditioner at $319.50. Given I wasn't getting a cut or blow dry it still stung, but I accepted it anyway. Next day, occurred to me that they may not have taken my online deposit into account. Sure enough, checked my credit card and I've been charged $442. Yep. An additional $197 for a toner and take home conditioner. (YOU READ CORRECTLY, $442 AND DIDN'T HAVE A CUT OR BLOW DRY!!!)
When I queried the 'error' I was told there was no 'error', and I was sent a screenshot of the itemised charges. She then wrote back and 'confirmed' the stylist told me it was $442 (like I would forget that number!!!) and there would be no refund. When I pushed it, she sent a link to Consumer Protection.

What's more, it was my birthday and I was there treating myself. It is the worst colour I've had since I was 17 and did it at home myself. Not once did the stylist lift the foils to check how they were going. My hairline foils are so far off my face it looks like I had my hair coloured 8 weeks ago and my fringe is so bleached it is breaking off. Someone described this place as a sausage factory. That's all it is. Do yourself a favour, find yourself a nice small local salon and save your cash so you can get your hair done more often! If you do buy into the Instagram, award winning, blah, blah, blah - ask to see the written quote and make sure you aren't overcharged.

Also, look how many reviews there are when they say 'you were happy when you left the salon' ie, you paid us your money, so surely you were happy??

Worst customer experience ever!

Check my reviews, I never post anything negative. Small business has it tough enough, but my experience here meant I felt it necessary to break my own rules. Young women, any women, shouldn't be taken advantage of with predatory pricing and tactics displayed by this company.

What a fantastic salon, happy vibes!!
My hair now the best it’s looked in many years thanks to [removed name].
I was a bit nervous, with long standing fear of haircuts. I went in with a lot of pretty awful curly white/grey hair from pre-covid. [removed name] did exactly as I expected was ultra pro, and enjoyable to hang out with. I’ve had so many bad ones, this experience was a bit surreal in how excellent it was. Many thanks!

decided to make a booking with this hair salon due to reading the previous reviews on google. Oh my, It was one big mistake. I requested for a balayage hair service that cost $582. I provided the hairstylist with two images that I desired and the stylist responded with confidence that it was possible and it would all be good.

4 hours later, looking in the mirror, it was not even close to what I wanted or presented to the hairstylist. I was very irritated and asked them to show the back of my hair. They ignored my request and initiated with curling my hair. I ask them to stop and show me the back of my hair. They ignored me and continued to curl my hair. I felt like they were trying to hide it from me, all I wanted was to see the back. They kept responding and affirming that it was beautiful, looks good, a great service, etc. The finished product did not look anything similar to what I presented and requested. They just wouldn’t listen to what I wanted, advising it “suited my skin tone”. I didn’t ask them to advise about my skin tone, but to deliver a service I requested. For some reason, they thought I was happy with the service. I was actually nearly in tears and so disappointed. I requested that they fix my hair and booked for the next day. The following day, after trying to fix my hair, nothing had changed. They didn’t do anything I requested. They kept affirming that it looks wonderful and suited my skin color. I was so disappointed that I paid so much for such a bad service. One of the staff members took me outside to explain that it was the best they can do. The staff member said that due to my hair being a dark color, it was not possible to achieve what I requested. I ask them why they didn't advise in the first place about not being able to achieve the images presented. The staff member stated that I needed to come back for a few more sessions. I have already been charged a fortune and the service was so bad. They said there was nothing I can do.

I went off basically in tears and told my husband. My husband decided to speak on my behalf. He’s 5 foot 6 with a very low monotone voice and requested to speak to the manager. One of the staff members requested we speak outside the store.

Firstly, she was so condescending to us - she put her palm up to my husband's face to shhh him and stated he was “too aggressive”, I can’t believe she played the “aggressive card”.

Secondly, my husband asked kindly if he could speak to her. She was so condescending. My husband told her that we had a great job completed in Sydney, she was being a smart a#se and laughed at our face and told us to go back to Sydney. We were shocked, during this current world pandemic, we couldn’t return or travel interstate. Also, we have friends and close ones affected by this pandemic, so it was quite sensitive to us. My husband replied that it was inappropriate to say such a thing.

Furthermore, my husband was trying to voice my opinion by stating that I hated my hair and it made me look and feel old. She started trying to give us counseling service by saying “that relationship is between you and your wife, how you look at her, etc” We didn’t ask for any counseling service.

Finally, she tried to reaffirm that when I left the hair salon I was very happy about the finished product - I really don’t understand how they receive those signals. She didn’t want to resolve the issue and decided to walk away. This was such an unprofessional way to communicate with customers. I had a very bad experience with this hair salon and the finished product and service are below expectations.

Sounds like a pattern by this company. Sorry you were treated this way. Apparently I was threatening too for asking that they honour their quotation provided in salon. Easiest way to get out of dealing with their own issues by making you the issue. Strange approach to business, if my experience is anything to go by, not really surprised.

The first time I visited this salon a few years back, it was great. I came away feeling a million dollars. I then recommended it to my daughter, who has had 3+ lots of foils over the last couple of years.
The first time she saw Tanya, who was wonderful and had been my colourist as well. The next few times, she saw others who were not so impressive. The last time she went the stylist was busy telling her what an awful job the previous person did on her hair (which she knew), but she didn't realise it was done in that salon and cost her over $350, by the stylist standing right behind her with another client that coloured her hair!
That gave her hope that this woman knew what she was doing and would do an excellent job on her hair. Well, this time she walked away with terribly bleached and damaged hair that was meant to be 'golden blonde.' It was anything BUT golden blonde. Her hair was literally fried, and it cost her almost $500!!
Sadly, because she is quite young, she didn't speak up and walked away unhappy with her hair and $500 poorer for the experience. Sadly, this salon has gone downhill so badly.
One bad experience, by one stylist, is one thing, but to have several from multiple stylists is a lesson learned and time to walk away.

Im sorry to read of your dissatisfaction with your colour and experience of our salon service. With the colour service you had, there would always be a minimum of 1 hour processing time and your stylist would need to check your colour regularly during the processing time. Your colorist was very experienced and she would have recommended the use of Smartbond with any colour lightening service especially if she felt the condition of your hair was going to be compromised.

We do take all feedback seriously and I do appreciate you taking the time to let us know how you felt. We do treat it as an opportunity for all our staff to learn from each and every clients experience and I am truly sorry you felt your experience was heart dropping. That is certainly very disappointing for us. I would like to offer you a complimentary service and see if we can come up with a solution even if we can offer a treatment and blowdry next time you are in Subiaco. Stephen is a highly skilled stylist and it took me years to find him. I've introduced several friends and family to him ALL have been very impressed with his creative colouring skills. Not only is he an exceptional stylist/colourist but he is very intuitive when it comes to what you need. My hair is in the best condition it's been in for years and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. He's also great for suggesting waht might work and the latest styles as I'm pretty rubbish at deciding what to do. In fact Circles have been the best salon for colour that I've ever been to. They genuinely care about the results and how you feel. I drive from Fremantle to Subiaco because I don't trust anyone else to give me the same service.

I came here yesterday after having a hair disaster at another salon the day before. This had been recommended to me as the best in Perth by my sister in law and I have to agree.
I was nervous about what could be done to fix my hair but I had to be able to leave the house at some point, so I made the appointment here.
Tanya was my hairdresser and she is amazing. She really listened and spent the time to colour correct all of my hair. The end result was better than I could have hoped. I cannot thank her enough and will never go to another salon.

I've just had the best shampoo ever!! The head massage was the best ever! They are also extremely kid friendly - my daughter gets a babycino and haircut :)

I had been going to the same salon for 10 years before deciding that I needed a change. I found Circles on Instagram and booked with Maddy. At the time I had very long hair and wanted a big change and she cut my hair into a perfect lob. Maddy always takes so much care in colour applications and I always come out a very happy customer! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair now! I would recommend Circles to anyone looking for a quality and professional salon!
