I would not recommend this place as the food was average, very poor service, lack of any trained staff, everything is done on the cheap. They really just wanted us to order food & drinks & pay via phone (QR code) without bothering them. They need to re assess how they're doing things and if they want a business dealing with people.

Good local place to meet new people, bistro style meals - friendly staff serving pub classics with lots of specials for drinks and house wines.

We come here for lunch and have been happy with the standard of the food. I have had steak, salads and their fish. All very good and quite generous portions. We use the shop-a-docket voucher and it makes for a very reasonable priced meal. But they have a $15 lunch deal which is great anyway

Over all in the Bistro I had a great experience, the service was good, the food nice, reasonably priced but the acoustics in the room were awful, a real assault on the ears and with every one talking in the room, it really detracted from a great experience.

In fact I cannot see myself going there due to the noisy room and not being able to hear myself think

My experience is based around the sports bar- 12 dollar Parma and a pot! The Parmas are a fair size, the chips can be hit or miss, but the beer is cold and they have in and outside areas too eat. Alright for a few guys having cheap lunch and some beers. There is an outside 'Amber's Courtyard' which lets you sit and watch the traffic jams on Centre road as well.

Great place for a casual meal, easy to get to and equally easy parking, with lots of spaces (always a plus in my book!) Food here is actually quite good, ambience as well is pleasant, always very busy but staff are always friendly and composed.

Under different management we went to this hotel for a Mother's Day in 2002 and we vowed not to go there again. Years later and new management and it was a different story. The venue is large with ample parking. The gaming area serves great free coffee on request. We have used this venue for lunch or dinner(no Seniors on Friday night) and enjoyed a bog meal of two courses for a set price. I have enjoyed the Soup of the Day and their Rump Steak with Chips & Vegies. We have recommended others to here. Some of the male or female bistro serving staff are very nice & friendly but there have been some who seem to have a poker in the posterior but we avoid them and comment about their behaviour. There seems to be a lot of mums with little kids coming here for evening meals which is good and these start from a very welcome 5pm which is great if one wants a good, reasonably priced meal and get to a concert or whatever in good time. The full menu(non-Seniors) steak is on a par with other venues in quality & price and the same meat poster is seen on many pub walls. This is an old venue and close to my home if the mood takes us to avoid cooking an evening meal. I usually go with my mother and two friends.

Approximate cost: $13.50

Ordered a chicken club sandwich. The bacon and chicken were cold. Having 3 slices of bread and the sandwich cut in quarters made it extremely difficult to eat without making a complete mess. Worst chicken club I've ever had to be quite frank.

Approximate cost: $22

I live around the corner, in walking distance, and used to LOVE this place, then they brought in new chefs, and our group of 20 or so, stopped going in, then a year or so ago a few of us started going there again 2-4 times a week for our favorite salad, then they changed the dressing to a tomato sauce dressing over the salad..... plz we complained plenty of times, did they do anything about it? NO so our group has found new places to have ur meals, to bad and shame on you for calling your selves Chefs!

Approximate cost: $18.00

The waiter who seemed to be running things was unfriendly and acted as though we were in a beautiful bistro (prices also reflected this) The food was horrible, the decor is drab and dated. Only reason we went there was because there is great indoor playground for kids but not worth it.
