Our pieces are 100% 14k Gold-Filled or Solid Sterling Silver which means, with proper love and care they can last many years to come!
They are permanent, not indestructible! Like all jewellery, they may rip, cut and tear in extreme circumstances.

What if I need to remove my Permanent Jewellery?
Great question! Lots of people have permanent jewellery and (for one reason or another) need to remove it.
Having surgery? This will depend highly on the type of surgery you are undergoing, hospital and doctor’s orders.
Luckily It’s super simple – in fact you can just cut it off carefully with sharp household scissors or wire cutters (ideally at the lil’ ring that connects the ends of the chain, this means you can use the chain later on!).If you would like your piece re-attached, please email us at hello@shopthelovers.com and we can book you in for a small fee to re-weld your piece!
Can I go through an airport?
We have been on multiple trips and it’s never been an issue.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We do acknowledge there may be things that pop up, however, our policy requires any cancellations or reschedules to be actioned with at least 48hrs notice or a small booking fee is taken. At time you will not be charged unless you are a no-show or cancellation.
What is the minimum age for permanent jewellery?
