With over 30 years’ experience, Caterina has been an indispensable part of the Australian hairdressing industry. She is a creative visionary, whose dedication and passion has rewarded her with numerous global accolades, including being named International Creative Director of Schwarzkopf Professional, awarded 4 x Australian Hairdresser of the Year, 5 x Australian Beauty Educator of the Year, 2 x National L’Oreal Colour Trophy winner, Hair Director for Miss Universe Australia 2018-2022 and Melbourne Fashion Week Hair Director.

Her love for the artistry of hairdressing pushed her to found Heading Out to show off her skills in the industry, and to nurture and develop up-and-coming hairdressing talents.

Everyone at heading out was so amazing, has previously had my hair done and it had been absolutely ruined. Firstly I did not have an appointment and it was late on a friday and the lovely receptionist was very helpful and let me come in for a consult immediately even through they were busy, they were very kind and sympathetic to me being very upset and anxious because my hair had been absolutely ruined by another hair salon. They did an absolutely amazing job redying and taking care of my hair as it had been badly bleached, they were extremely helpful with the aftercare also. 100% worth the money, I am so relieved to have my hair back to the way it was.
