This is a traditional Fish and Chipper! The souvlakis are cooked on an open pit of charcoal and the fish is brilliant. The scallops taste fantastic too - not too fishy! They don't give you much in a serve of chips - but then who needs it when you have so much other tasty stuff? They also do lunch packs and dinner packs with the souvlaki meat and salads. The salads are so fresh looking and tasty. They look homemade.
Never disappointing! You go there for the great slabs of Angus beef, not so much for the veggies and the GIANT potato. You select your cut of meat, the sauce and how you want it cooked and it is always right. There are some chicken and pasta dishes on the menu - but you can't go past steak! The wine list is what you expect for a steak house and there is a good range of standard desserts - choc mousse, cheesecake, etc. The entree Devils on Horseback is interesting!

Dr P Burke is one of the most gentle dentists I have ever come across. He is so thorough, gives you advice (to distract you while he cleans your teeth) and he is on time! You don't have to wait 20 mins!!! They also arrange the gap for private health members so you don't have to take the invoice to your provider - you only pay the difference at the dentists. They also have DVD plays in the ceiling so if you are having major work done you can pick and play a movie.
Our boys have stayed at the kennels a few times - for stays of 2 - 10 days. They are always happy to go there, happy to see the staff and really like being housed together (although one of them is a big brute they are both indoor dogs at home).
If your dog stays for longer than 5 days, they give them a warm hydro bath. The boys gets walked/exercised and are fed according to their normal diets.
I wouldn't take my boys (dogs) anywhere else. One of my boys was ill this week and they squeezed me in straight away. They are so friendly, don't push products on you and suggest a few treatment options for you. They understand that your pets are more than occasional friends.

This is one of the few shops in the Eastern suburbs where you can buy Jasper organic/Fair Trade coffee as loose beans. There are also other unusual lines stocked there. Huge health food section with heaps of Orgran products. Really friendly service too.
The girls can take up anything - I gave them a standard pair of jeans (normal) but I also gave them a pair of Draggin Jeans (motorbike pants with kevlar in them). They had an unusual way of positioning you so that the Draggin Jeans were the right height! Ingenious! So fast too - all done in a few hours.

You don't often hear of good service at a supermarket, or even a positive atmosphere; but you get it here. The manager walks through and greets staff and customers and the checkout girl that processed my sale was an absolute delight - she actually made me smile during our conversation.
Great service, great products. The fruit was an interesting mix and the cut fruit (eg watermelon) was cut fresh while you watch. None of this pre-packaged stuff. They also have some amazing natural yoghurt products too. Good range of unusual, fresh asian veggies. I bought a week's worth of fruit & veg.

I stopped by to see if the chemist could help me with some over the counter products. The staff there were so helpful, suggested other products to help the condition but weren't pushy. The sales lady finished off by saying "take care of yourself" - beats the hell out of 'have a nice day'. I thought that was lovely.
