I loved this place before it burnt down, it had great bistro food and atmosphere, and the view is awesome. I hope they don't rebuild it to be like all the other pubs around cause it had a great relaxed vibe to it and was very cosy. Fingers crossed!

As far as quality goes, is place is great. The steaks re tender and the menu is a great variety. They have different specials daily, which makes for a great bargain. The service is great with the staff being knowledgeable about the menu and if not enquiring for you. Which is good for me as my partner is quite fussy about sauces on the side lol!All in all great value and food!

Really disapointed this place was awesome at the beginning of the year. It went downhill when they got a new chef. I hadnt been since around may so my workmate and I went again yesterday to try it again, last time sadly. The penang beef was dry and no sauce with it. The same with my workmates. The fishcakes wernt quiet as nice as they once were but I think its cause she microwaved them and then didnt fry them long enough. Its really sad because they were definately up their with the best of them earlier in the year. They need a new chef!

What can I say, I ordered the steak and it was very poorly overcooked and tasteless. I had to laugh about the salad bar cause eveytime I went to go up there were no prawns in the prawn salad. Look if you like this sort of food, each to their own, but it isnt even appertizing to me, but I did see other people appeared to enjoy their meal. It appears to be quiet busy enogh so obviously it is popular with the locals.

Ok tried here about 4 times and cant go back. Twice I ordered the Schnitzel, twice I had to use arm muscle to cut it up. The last time I had to get a steak knife and eventually complained. Is it so hard to deep fry a frozen scnitzel? the prices are good and service ok Iguess. But overall this is disappointing. The pizza was less than average and soggy. I dont understand why these places cant get decent chefs/cooks who cant do basics. It is nice enough inside though, but I think Essen is more packed now because of the Rashays letdown.

This is one of the better KFC's I go to. The drivethru is quick, the staff are friendly and its clean inside. I find that the burgers are fresher than out where I live. Dont know why but KFC buns are always cold and hard, but this place is an improvement in my book.

I love their spring rolls! Also the satay prawns are awesome! They have been here for years and it is a great local take away or you can eat in, not to bad decore lol! The food is fast and fresh and I have not been disapointed yet. they do a lot of take away here. Prices are good as is the service.

This place is awesome. Been here alot over the past few years since the renovations. Totally different place now. the menu is extensive with Seafood, pizza, pub faves, italian, salads, desserts etc. I usually have steak and my partner salmon which are both fantastic, bout 20bux each. The salad sides and veges are great. There is a playroom for the kids and you can see them from where you sit. the pizza and Italian is excellent too. Id definately recommend this place for a great night out and meal.

Ive been going here for years. I love their chips. But last night I went and got calamari, fish cocktais and chips and was disapointed. Oh and prawn cutlets, these were the best purchase by far. The calamari was way overcooked and chewy and the chips were over cooked aswell. Also the fish cocktails were ok but one tasted super fishy and I couldnt eat anymore. It was disapointing for me as Ive never had this experience before. I have to say that it may be because it was a young chap who cooked, mmm dunno! I will go back at some point though cause as Ive said it has been a standout in the past. Anyway for 6 fish cocktails, 4 prawn cutlets, 6 calamari and a medium chips it cost 22.50

I struggle to give this a better rating, I've been here at least half a dozen times and the service is very poor. The food is pretty good though but the service is a let down with staff being rude at times. I havnt been for 6 months and this might have changed, but not to keen to go back anytime soon!
