I just received my last lot of purchases from you and I have to say a big thankyou again. They always look as they do in the photos and sometimes even better.
What I really wanted to say was that I really like the fits. I bought a camisole last time and have worn it loads and it sits so well and doesn’t gap at the armholes. The sleeveless black dress I just received is the same. Great git and doesn’t gape around the armholes. In fact I’m wearing it out for dinner tonight.
Thanks Paulette

I used to take my car to Sam at N & G Mechanical Repairs all the time when I lived in Sydney. That was the only thing I missed when I moved to Brisbane 5 years ago. Once before when I was down I took my car there for a service and they did a great job again. It had been about 3 years though since I last saw them and they have moved premises from Kogarah to Hurstville now. When I rang up the other day and said it was me, Sam said 'have you still got the Camry?' He even remembered my car. When I went there yesterday I recognized one of the other guys standing outside and he knew me too.

In Brisbane, I've found a reasonably good place to service my car and I trust them. However they don't match N & G by any means. After the last service in Brisbane, they guys told me what still needed to be fixed and it was going to cost more than the car is worth to do it. Even they advised it wasn't worth it and preferred not to do it. They quoted something like $3000 which made me feel glum about it.

I talk it to Sam and the guys at N & G to get more of an assessment than anything else. They told me the major thing that was wrong however on a couple of other points they didn't agree and in fact found something else that was broken instead. To do it they quoted a fraction of the price so I said go ahead.

When I went to pick up my car at the end of the day yesterday, it was like looking at a new car. They had got it washed and cleaned inside and even had the engine washed.

Sure they gave me a lot of freebies because I've been a good customer for so long and I also brought it down from Brisbane. At the end of the day, it cost me just under $1300 less than half of what I was quoted in Brisbane.

It's worth the petrol cost to bring it down for a service at that rate. And that's what I'll be doing at least once a year now because these guys are the best!!

From the time I first walked in the store and Kirsty found me the mattress I needed, to my visits to pay for it and chatting to Greg and others and finally to the delivery of my new mattress early last Saturday morning. The delivery guys were wonderful and had removed my old mattress and put the new one in its place in about five minutes flat. I was back in bed a bit after 6.00am and woke up again at 9.00am. Great mattress!

Stumbled across this place one day by accident and enjoyed the lunch so much that I returned there with a few friends on another day for a long and leisurely lunch. If it hadn't started to get cold as the sun went down behind the mountain, we would have stayed on longer. We all ended up after our main course going back to get dessert and coffee. Great food and ambience and helpful and friendly staff. I got talking to the owner as well and he's got a great approach on having fresh food only. Nothing frozen and refuses to have a deep fryer. Looking forward to going back again and again!

The RM is more like a social club than a hotel and is the friendliest pub I've been to in this country. They support live music and there's always a selection of local, interstate and occasionally overseas artists to entertain you on Friday evenings and from 11am Saturdays till about 7pm. They used to have good basic tucker on the menu before the floods but haven't got the kitchen up and running yet. So you'll just have to stick with a toasted sandwich for $3.50 if you're hungry. Just like your mum makes! It's got great atmosphere as after all it dates back to mid 1800s so lots of character.

I love coming here when I'm in Broadbeach and will go out of my way to go there. I just wish they were open in the evenings. The cabinets are full of mouth watering savoury and sweet foods. I love their salads and yet I'm not normally a salad eater but there's are irresistable. They have the most massive lamingtons too. The coffee is generally good but I think it depends on who's making it on the day.

Every time I"m in or near Broadbeach, I go here for a meal. The food is very good, the ambience great, the staff friendly even when they're super busy which seems to be most evenings. I love it that I can get hot sake for around $10 for a small bottle.

This is a top class Japanese restaurant and if you're looking for a special night out then it's the place to go. It's not as expensive as some people make it out to be and compares favourably in price with any other fine dining restaurant. One of my Melbourne friends organized her recent 50th birthday dinner there and we had a great night. Unlike a lot of restaurants that are so noisy these days, the tables are spaced well apart and with the carpet, it's a serene place. The views of the river are wonderful too if you get to sit by the windows. More importantly though, the food is beautifully presented and delicious to eat.

It's called The Boo these days and they do have barefoot bowls but I've only eaten and drank there. The food is very good and more like you would expect at a very good cafe/restaurant. I've never had a bad dish there. The drinks are very reasonably priced and their service is very friendly and quick. I see they have a lot of events/functions so they must do a good job looking after everyone.

When I returned to Brisbane to live after 5 years away, I went straight back to them for my dry cleaning. Having had a few bad experiences with various dry cleaners in Sydney, it was a pleasure to go back there and know that they would take care of the clothes I left with them. They are certainly not the cheapest however they are best I've come across. I've had alteration repairs done by them before as well and they always do the best job they can.
