Cheap manicure and pedicure combo making it easy to go there on a regular basis without breaking the bank and at short notice which helps. Most girls working there are good at what they do, but it is a fairly quiet place. The customer service is not the best (no friendly chatter nor smiles), you just pick your colour(s) and off they go....They are however very careful with the elderly customers I noticed which I appreciated a lot when I brought my 81 year old grandmother there- I also found that if you want to go there with a friend, it's quite OK as then you have somebody to chat with!... They have concerts from major singers and groups playing in the background which can be a distraction during an hour treatment.
If for any reason there is something you don't like about your treatment you can speak up and it will be dealt with straight away without a fuss.
It's nice to have a treatment at the end of the week to relax a little and reflect on the week without any interruptions and whilst getting your back machine-massaged!....As the staff don't speak English to each other you may even feel like you are on travels and cannot understand the locals which in some way is relaxing too, once you have given up on wanting to know what was so funny!...

Fantastic crêpes...you feel like you are in Normandy or Brittany- The owner is French and will be happy to make you practise your French (or your students if you are a French teacher)- Great experience that is surprisingly not expensive (unlike most French experiences this side of the world)...but a true Gallic delight nevertheless! Very worthwhile outing with children to allow them to appreciate a French crêperie before their first European trip!....Lovely to have a sweet pancake after the movies, too...a nice change from the pizza, pasta, American take-aways or sandwich places nearby!!!

My husband has been a patient at this clinic for many years and the location has previously deterred me from accessing their services. I have to admit that I was wrong. Dr Alena Brichko has treated both my grandmother and I with a lot of care, knowledge and ability, explaining to us every step of the way and going out of her way to make us feel comfortable. It was painfree and high-tech dentistry, combined with care and skill, mixed in with a warm welcome from the staff at reception desk from when we entered the building...although costly treatments, I think we all know that our teeth are worth it!!!

The location on the less popular part of Bay street may make you think that there wouldn't be much business at this fairly new French pâtisserie and boulangerie, but you would be mistaken. The bread is delicious, the service personalised and the 'vol-au vents' yummy...and if you are looking at calories when choosing your food, the size of the desserts will be for you- Too large to be called 'miniardises', too small to be called desserts...I guess desserts for the fitness- loving Brightonites...but will always come back for those delicious sourdough breads!

Love the pretty French-style clothes and the constantly newly brought in clothes and accessories- Decent length clothes also good for larger sizes (goes from extra small to XXL, so roughly from size 8/10 to size 18/20 depending on the cut)- Very cute French-style decor and most helpful and friendly shop manager, Jennifer- A sales experience as they all should be and rarely are these days!...And let's not forget about those delightful free soaps once you leave with your purchases!....

Excellent service, polite and with a great smile, can be slow, but I can wait for quality-
Lovely breads (careful of olive pits in olive bread) and pastries (just soooo pretty...the closest attempt in Melbourne to provide Parisian little cakes)- Yummy products such as the 'croque-monsieur' and the filling sandwiches....love the new products with mangoes, too....the mango 'macaron' is the best ever!!! A nice Franco-Aussie mix there!
