After my puppy unexpectedly died my friend who volunteers for SA Dog Rescue introduced me to Boof, who is now a loved member of my family! SA dog rescue is a 100% Volunteer, unpaid organisation and aim to find homes for all their dogs (& cats). They actually don't have a shelter but the volunteers foster the dogs. The great thing about this is the dogs are all in a home environment (much nicer than in cages). They have a great website and also have a fantastic facebook page.

I have been coming here for years and just love it. I love the shared table set up as you can easily make friends with the person sitting next to you. Their porridge with honey and cream is fantastic as well as their scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and basil pesto. Try the white tea as well. You can also purchase all different types of tea and cool mugs & teapots.

A great website to get something really special for your kids who are fairy crazy! This company makes cute little fairy doors that you can attach to the skirting boards in their bedrooms. So cute. They also have fairy dust, tooth fairy kits and much more. Magical!

My family spent Christmas here this year and had an absolute blast. The accommodation is converted stables that can sleep 15. The homestead was a little dusty when we arrived but we have contacted the owner about this. The property is huge with horses you can pat. You can also bring your dogs with you & horses if you have them!

A fantastic website with all sorts of hand made, vintage and quirky products from around the world. The website is very easy to use, the products I have ordered have been lovely and have arrived quickly. A great place to visit for gifts for friends and family

I came here again to make my garden into a Christmas wonderland. I was very happy walking out with lime and hot pink oriental umbrellas, more solar lanterns, a range of pretty butterflies and cupcake holders. It was well priced as well. I cant stop coming here!

A great range of ribbons, artificial flowers, gift boxes, bomboniere, cake making products at fantastic prices. Although the parking is limited, the warehouse is well set out with a massive range, well priced products and friendly staff

I went here for a bite to eat and a coffee while doing some Christmas Shopping along King William Street. Even though they were full, the staff were attentive and made me feel like it would be worth the short wait.... and it was.

A great range of shoes especially for people with hard to fit feet. Even though the shoes are quite pricey, the quality of all the shoes and the range of european shoes is worth the cost. The staff are all trained and don't try to just get a sale, they seem to be really caring

Even with the huge range and variety of restaurants along the strip in Hahndorf, I seem to keep coming back here. The staff are plentiful and have only come across really friendly and helpful staff. They are child friendly! Yay! I keep getting the Hause Angus beef Pie. Great wine list. Great during any weather too
