The IGA at Beachmere has all that you could want as far as grocery shopping goes. The prices are slightly more expensive than your big name grocery stores but if you look out for their sales you will find good bargains. The staff are lovely and provide prompt service. There is ample parking available and the store is easy to find.

The Beachmere Bakery is a great little secret in the main plaza at Beachmere. They have quite a wide array of breads, award winning pies and what interests me the most is their awesome choice of sweet things. The staff are very friendly and happy and cake your experience positive. There is seating available if you wish to stay and have a coffee with a bite to eat. I often find myself short for school lunches and they provide a lunch pack for children which has a sandwich, jelly, popper, cookie and a toy for only $5, great for the school rush!!

This butcher shop has one of the most extensive windows that I have ever seen!! I doubt that there is a meat cut that they dont have!! The shop is always very clean and the staff and friendly and rather entertaining. This is a great place to shop if you enjoy the finer selection of meat products. They have won numerous awards for theirs products, I find this shop to be great value.

A well established pharmacy in Beachmere, the pharmacist is very helpful if you have any questions. I found lots of lovely gift ideas filled the shop which made waiting for a script enjoyable. There is a cute little dog which happily lolls around that the kids just adore!! The pharmacy is now conveniently located in their new shop next to Beachmere Medical Centre.

I had been recommended to go here for sushi by my work colleagues. They were right on par as the sushi was great and the service was fast. Perfect for lunchtime rush. I did return later that week though after raving about it to my husband and the experience was not as positive. As it was dinner, and there were a few people there, the wait for 2 takeaway dishes was over 40 minutes. My husband got a Pad Thai, which is a favourite, but we found the sauces too heavy for this dish. BUT would totally recommend the sushi for lunch!!

I was desperately needing a new hairdresser and tried Hair for You at Beachmere - and I am glad I did!! I am used to paying through the roof for my hair to be coloured (blonde!!!) but the pricing here was more than reasonable (I seriously would have been happy paying double what I was charged). Jasmine was my hairdresser and she did a fantastic job, I will not be going anywhere else now. The shop has just moved to the location in Biggs Road, I strongly recommend anyone in need of a fantastic hairdresser to give Jasmine a call!

I have recently rented a property through Beachmere Property Management and Sales on Biggs Avenue and I am overly happy with the level of service that I have received to date from Jane and Don. I love how organised they are and how they attend immediately to any concerns no matter how trivial they seem. It is refreshing to still be treated with such professionalism even after you have moved into the property. I would not hesitate in recommending this small team to anyone for any real estate property management or sales needs.

It is so hard to find a good doctor - but I have found two!! Dr Steve and Dr Claire at Beachmere Medical Centre!! I have seen Dr Steve several times with my children and have found him to be very thorough with a lovely bedside manner. Appointments can be made that morning and the organisation of the centre means that your wait time is not considerable. Last week my baby had his needles there and the nurse was very helpful and informative and made a tough morning a great deal easier. The whole team ensures a very good, trustworthy medical practice.

I have never felt so welcome and at ease at a salon before!! The team of girls here are all so lovely and being remembered on your return visit gives it that personal touch. I found the pricing to be in line with other salons but the service is outstanding. There are a wide range of beauty specialities available, I have been there for a brazillian, eyebrow waxing and tinting and eyelash tinting and after shopping around I won't be looking any further!!
