At last great Mexican food. It is a little more expensive than other Mexican restaurants but the portion sizes are huge and ir's really fresh ingedients. I had to take nearly half of mine home (I love leftovers). Definitely worth eating at. I had the Chimichanga (I like the name) and it was overflowing with food. The sizzling Fajitas looked good too!

I go to Cairns for business and we always try to eat here at least once while we're there. Delicious flavours and beautiful presentation of food. The Nasi Goreng is a great staple but try anything on the menu. Very friendly staff.

Excellent service. We bought a 2nd hand Mac off them and even though it had a few glitches they were always happy to take it back & repair free of charge. They really know their stuff.

Great food. My favourite is the stuffed mushrooms - they're to die for! Staff are friendly. We had some slow service a few times but generally efficient.

We often go here for work lunch events. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Excellent variety of food. Can't recommend any particular dish as I've had everything off the lunch special menu and it's all delicious. Can also get take away of course.

A beautiful restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere. At the expensive end of the market but worth the indulgence.

This is a training restaurant but you wouldn't guess that if you didn't know. The staff can look a little nervous but you know they'll always try their best as they're being marked on it! Excellent value food and beautifully presented. Not an amazing atmosphere as tables are all close together in one large space. Also note, as it's a training restaurant it's only open Mon-Fri.

This is the funkiest restaurant in town. The door is basically a hole in the wall with little to no signage (so it's a matter of if you're cool enough to know us, you don't need a sign). You then walk in to this mini rainforest then through to the main restaurant. It has a bar area where they sometimes have live music and great cocktails. The restaurant itself is the highlight though. You sit on the floor and it's in 1 huge space but your table is separated from everyone else's by translucent white curtains. You get that amazing balance of intimacy with your friends but you still see the shadows and hear the murmurs of the other guests. The food is good - not amazing but everyone will easily find something they like. Asian fusion style. I'd say average to high prices. Good dishes to share. It's more about the atmosphere and it's worth it for that! You HAVE to book ahead especially on weekends.

This is a very quaint little restaurant. I heard about it through a book called "Brisbane's budget bites" and it lives up to it's reputation in the value for money stakes. No fancy tables but beautiful calligraphy on the walls. Run by a Japanese woman the food is genuine. The sushi particularly (for dine in) is presented in an unusual way. It's worth a wander along the shops in the complex as well as they're a strange collection of shops!

Fantastic atmosphere. Tables are tucked away among an ecclectic collection of home wares. Much better value and better atmosphere than the chain-store cafe a few meters away. I love going here and they make great milkshakes.
