The good old Peel. A staple for the end of any night out. Free Entry. Ok music to dance to if you are drunk enough. The dancefloor is always packed later on, so don't save your wide dance moves for The Peel. SO many memories from this place, good and bad, but either way, The Peel is fun for the end of the night.
I love this cafe for breakfast! Always have a 10 minute wait, but that means nothing when you get your food and coffee. Always a bubbling place and the Smashed Avocado is a favourite. Love the decor and baked treats as well.
Great little supermarket to pop out and grab a few things when Im staying at my friends place. They used to have 'Bargain Bins' for $2 and I always loved picking up a few tit bits. The specials are good and I find you can get a lot of Continental foods, love the Halva!
I have been here a couple of times for shows and drinks. The setting is evocative of a little jazz bar somewhere in the depths of Paris. The Absinthe menu is something very special to add to the atmosphere. The shows that have been put on are of high quality, my favourite Elle Gabrielle.
Walked in for a simple pub dinner and was pleasantly suprised at the quality. The place still looks like an old pub, but once you are seated in the dining room and the food starts coming, there is not a Parma in sight. Beautiful Mushroom Ravioli and so nicely presented. The prices are a bit more expensive than a regular pub, but the quality of the food makes up for that. Apart from one unhappy waitress, the rest of the staff were so helpful and on top of their job. Can't wait to go back and work through the menu!
This is my local store to get milk and bread, but they offer so much more. There are so many gourmet products on offer for very reasonable prices, often competing with large Supermarkets. It is a family run store so I always feel welcomed and looked after.
Went here on a jaunt to the country with my friend to celebrate our 5 years of knowing each other. Really enjoyed the welcome from Danny and the park is just on the lake, so its perfect to walk around on a warm summers evening.
Go here often for a good coffee close to my house. The food is quite delicious, but a tad overpriced for what you get. I have found the service often unwelcoming and not very accommodating. Beautiful little larder attached with a cheese tasting room which I would recommend!
Have been getting manicures from Helen for the past 6 months after a recommendation from a friend. Helen is always very welcoming and remembers who you are every time. I've started getting my friends to go here and it has become our little nail paradise in Melbourne.
