Yard Bird is an American style bar & bistro situated above the Shamrock Hotel. Seating is outdoors on the verandah and created such a relaxed atmosphere with views of the CBD and Rosalind Park.

The menu had lots of meat options - ribs, chicken wings, steaks, burgers, and American sides like corn, onion rings, mac and cheese, fries, etc. You pick a main dish and then pick a side to go with it. I would have liked to have a salad option or vegetables. There was a coleslaw and a roasted potato salad but both were a bit too greasy for my liking.

The staff were friendly and the service was ok, although a little slow. Meals were brought out several minutes apart from other people at our table. The food was good but nothing spectacular - I guess it is just not my style. There is no dessert menu, but seeing as though we were there for a birthday they allowed us to bring our own cake.

I am probably more interested in returning for drinks on the balcony rather than eating a meal here again.

When my Mum was relocated to Adelaide for work, she needed a new dog care facility for her poodle. After making enquiries at a few different organisations we settled on Dog City. Every single staff member that we spoke to/interacted with were so pleasant and helpful, happily answering all of our questions and allowing us to view their facility. On our dog's first day at day care the staff sent photo updates during the day to show our dog interacting with staff and other dogs. We received a detailed report about his first day at day care. It gives such peace of mind that these wonderful caring people are taking care of our dog while we are at work and the dog absolutely loves going and now quite confidently struts in ready to play with his friends. I cannot thank the staff enough!

Coffee.Co is Bendigo's best drive thru cafe! The coffees are delicious and I love that they make a White Mocha and that they have little plastic things put in the cups to stop them spilling in the car. Their ice coffees are huge and refreshing on hot days. They make some yummy toasties using sourdough bread - so fresh and satisfying! All of the staff are friendly, cheerful and always greet me with a smile. Even when there is a line up of cars in the drive thru they manage to get through everyone's orders quite quickly. They have a loyalty program - the card is an easy scannable card making things even quicker - and every 10th coffee is a free one.

Fantastic meals made with fresh local produce. They make a delicious eggs benedict with pulled pork and apple cider hollandaise sauce - my favourite! Their coffees are pretty great and there are lots of sweet and savoury snacks (brownies, muffins, slices) to either eat there or takeaway. They also do fresh juices which taste so refreshing.

In addition to being a cafe they also sell local organic produce and pantry supplies. They have a range of ready made meals that you can take home and heat and eat - the lasagna and the chicken and leek pie are yummy and a good alternative to getting takeaway on nights when it is inconvenient to cook.

The staff are always friendly although they could do with a staff dress code.

They recently extended their store to include more indoor seating.

Yummy hot chocolate and pastry snacks. Staff saw that I was with my dogs and came out to me so that I could order my takeaway cuppa. Very friendly and fast service. The following day I returned to pick up a takeaway pizza and the staff remembered me and were once again very cheerful to interact with. The pizza was full of toppings and the base was thin and crisp - it is nice to not have to fill up on a thick pizza base. I am looking forward to returning and trying out some more of their menu items.

Good casual dining option. Outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. This was a lovely calm and quiet cafe - a nice place to sit down and relax with a cuppa.

The menu was fairly small however still provided quite a few delicious cakes, biscuits, french pastries, crepes and baguettes to choose from. I had the french toast with a cappuccino - both were divine but the cappuccino could have been hotter.

My order was brought out fairly quickly and while the staff were polite, they didn't seem to be genuinely friendly.

They are open early for breakfast and I believe that they are open all day.

The fish was more expensive than what I generally pay for fish and chips however it tasted amazing! The flake was so fresh and nicely cooked, the chips were a lovely crisp light golden colour and tasted great too. The chip portions were probably a bit on the small side. We did have to wait 15-20mins for our order to be cooked (there was a line of people waiting in the shop) but it was well worth the wait. Even though they were busy the staff all appeared to be working efficiently to get people's orders cooked as quickly as possible. Great location too - we took our food and walked across to the beach to enjoy our meal.

When I visiting a friend in Adelaide we decided to stop by Argo's or a coffee and morning tea, after hearing lots of rave reviews. It was very busy when we went, however we were able to get a table for two immediately (other people after us were lining up to get tables!). Be aware that the atmosphere is very much hustle and bustle, noisy and crowded.
They have a very extensive drinks menu - from coffee variations, to fresh juices and juice shots. There were lots of gluten free options and many of the items on the food menu mentioned organic products and were clearly healthy choices.
The staff were knowlegable about the menu items and were very friendly. Even though it was so busy our drinks and food came out relatively quickly. The meal portions were fairly big and delicious. The only downside was that I found the prices to be a bit expensive for what we got.

This review is for Jumpz Bendigo Trampoline Park, Kangaroo Flat VIC

Jumpz Trampoline Park is an indoor trampoline centre where you can go and jump on large trampolines. It is not just for kids, adults can jump too. The centre is well air-conditioned too - you do get quite warm from all the physical activity! It is actually a fun way for the kids and adults to burn some energy!

$15 for a one hour session, $10 for kids under five years. Each jumper is also required to purchase a pair of special trampoline grip socks which cost an extra $2 although you get to keep them. Bookings are required to guarantee the session time - you can do this over the phone or online through their website.

There is a special trampoline playground area exclusively for children under five years old.

They have a mini cafe/burger bar on site, but we didn't use. Staff seemed friendly enough and were supervising the jumping areas.

The location is right on Darling Harbour and there were varying levels of entry that you could pay for. We went for full entry as it included the museum inside, the whale art exhibition and the submarine and ships outside.

A highlight was getting to go onto the submarine and ships in the harbour - it was fascinating to see the living situation onboard and our tour guide filled us in on the history of the submarine and ships and answered our questions. The submarine was a little bit claustrophobic at times so if small spaces bother you then maybe skip this tour!

The staff are all very friendly and are volunteers guiding the visitors around the museum and ships and providing historical information.

Initially I thought that the $27 full entry was on the expensive side but after spending a few hours exploring the museum exhibits (both inside and outdoors) it was well worth the cost.

There was a small gift shop but no cafe, however there are a couple of dining options very close by.
