This review is for Pizzarama, Helensburgh NSW

These pizzas are the best I've ever tasted. They give you the perfect balance of base vs topping - and that means heaps of topping! The pizzas are always cooked to perfection. The service is always friendly and fast. Try to Crib Special - it's just perfect. If you're a pizza lover then you'll love these pizzas. Authentically Italian. Takeaway seems to be the favourite but you can eat in if you want. They're busy for a reason - the food is just fantastic.

Being a franchise you know what to expect. The food is the same as all other Subways and the service is mediocre. But it's convenient and fast. And you can always make a healthy choice if you want. The sandwiches taste good enough - the best part is often the bread!

Approximate cost: $8

The service here isn't the greatest but the food is. The meat pies are made with REAL meat and lots of it. The desserts are delicious and you can pick up some continental desserts as well - more than just the usual caramel slice and lamingtons. They have a large selections of breads as well that taste beautiful and is always fresh.

This is a real locals pub. We walked in and the place went silent. Later in the evening we were approached by two locals asking where we lived etc. They were friendly but just not what would normally happen in a larger town or city. The pub has some good music and it's a nice place to sit for a drink and be entertained. It's only a small place but it doesn't get too crowded. The pub also owns a bottle shop that specialises in wines so if you're that way inclined you may be able to pick up something nice there. Good place for the locals but probably not worth the trip if you're not.

The restaurant here has recently acquired a new chef. The food has always been great and that hasn't changed - just the menu has changed a bit. You can always get the usual fish and chips but now they're beer battered chips. We brought some Greek visitors there for a feed and they loved the food. But even better than the food is the view. You're right above the water and can sit either inside or outside. At the right time of year you can watch the dolphins and wales swim by while you're eating and drinking. The only downside is that it now gets very busy and parking can be an issue. So get there early if you can. Also now open for breakfast but I haven't tried that yet. It's on the list!

This review is for Elisabeth De Martin Beauty, Wollongong NSW

Marlene offers a full service beauty salon. Everything from waxing to laser treatments is available. Marlene carries on the salon after her mother, Elisabeth retired. The salon has been recently renovated and looks fantastic. It's a relaxing environment with beautiful peaceful music playing in the background. I go in there for a facial and end up falling asleep. They let me sleep without waking me, even though I'm sure they need the chair. It's a great place to go for some pampering as well as the usual "upkeep" required. Very conveniently located on the outskirts of Wollongong. Parking isn't usually a problem - on busy days you might need to walk 50m or so from the nearest car park but you can often find something closer. Not cheap but also not too expensive. They also sell a range of products and give great advice on home treatments.

This review is for Lawn Mowing Service, Coledale NSW

Garry is very professional and knows his stuff. We have a horrible block to mow but he does it without fuss, quickly and always leaves a great looking lawn. He's also a horticulturist so is always able to provide advice on the garden and landscaping. Garry is great with our dog as well - she's always happy to see him for her extra pats.

This review is for Shell Service Station, Helensburgh NSW

This is a very conveniently located service station. Management changed a few years ago and it's definitely improved. It's a small service station but the layout means you don't usually have to wait. The owners are very friendly and always have a smile for you when you go in to pay. They aren't associated with any grocery discount but the prices are OK and you can't beat the location if you're a local.

This review is for PRD Nationwide Real Estate, Helensburgh NSW

We sold out house through PRD Helensburgh. We interviewed agents from all three Real Estate companies in Helensburgh and the girls at PRD were the most straightforward and honest of them all. They didn't overinflate the value of our house to try to get our business. They explained exactly how they came up with their estimate of our house's value and it all made sense. In the end we sold our house within 2 weeks of putting it on the market for a price we were very happy with. Not all Real Estate agents are dishonest!

This husband and wife team have built a fantastic business here. They are busy so have to employ a couple of others as well and they're all extremely friendly. They take pride in running an efficient operation. I've had passports done, used their internet service, transferred money and lots more and they're always helpful. Being in a small town, people get to know you and you're always greeted by name. I had a missing parcel and they went out of their way to look for it and try to trace it. It turned out it was just a very late delivery, but they spent their own time trying to track it down for me.
