Local restaurant specialising in sausages and mash....though they do other dishes too. 10 different types of sausages and 5 different types of mash you can mix and match. Nice desserts too. Check out the web site for some deals, including 10% off total bill if you sign up for their newsletter. Also has a kids eat free deal.....good value venue

Fixed blocked drain in bathroom. Very professional, told me what time he'd arrived, rang before to check it was still OK, worked for two hours as it was a very fiddly problem, cleaned up after....everything now works well.
Approximate cost: $250
Great food, well priced, friendly staff, generous serves. A really good local thai. Good deals on their website for example happy hour specials on Tuesdays.

I felt like fish and chips and had seen this place in passing, so I looked on WOMOW, and the reviews confirmed what I hd suspected, this is a reliable and resonably priced local fish and chip place.
Their specialities are grilled seafood, although they also do battered fish. Seasoning on my grilled fish, chip and salad were really lovely
Approximate cost: $12 for grilled fish, chips and greek salad
WOW...food gorgeous, nice room, service attentive. It's an upmarket bistro, serving great food....it's served on a (sort of) bread board so you can share entrees and mains.....food really yummy

New restaurant/bistro in Newtown. Nice food, though still finding its feet....just needs some tweaking to be really good. Mainly seafood, but with a few non seafood dishes. Wine list small but OK, however also accepts BYO (corkage $5 week nights and $10 Fri/Sat). We had 3 courses and BYO wine for $110, so not too bad. Nice room, white tableclothes, lovely presentation of food, nice glass ware, good service, ...a little room for improvement with some dishes, but overall a really nice night out....I'll come back!
Approximate cost: $25-30
Beautiful bautiful handbags and leather goods. Leo Monk handbags are often at markets such as Paddington and Balmain, but this shop is where tey make them. Great service, very affordable, great range
Approximate cost: $150-200+
This outlet is the factory for the other stores an has a coffe shop in the front. Great breads, particularly the sour dough, wonderful sausage rolls and the "big meringue " is to die for ....really gooey in the middle (they sometimes have a chocolate one too)
Approximate cost: $5
This used to be such a great market, full of craft and different things and mostly made locally. I have been again twice in the last six months and every time it seems to become a bit more commercial.
It's still a place to go when you're on hols on the sunshine coast, and the food stuffs are OK....but it's lost a lot of it's quirkiness as it's got bigger and bigger
It's great, and has just won an award for best growers market. Great food and produce from local producers and direct from the growers who love to explain their products and how to cook them etc.
Also has great flowers at a good price
