I don't normally review a pub, because in my own opinion, what they have on offer can't possibly differ from place to place. They sell beer, wine, spirits, and finger food. I have decided to put a review on Shark Hotel for two reasons. 1) Over the years (last 7~8 years or so), they have been trying very hard to provide descent dining experience, and 2) whilst their attempt to offer their own version of fantastic dining experience seems to have failed (no offence, sorry) The Thai restaurant itself offers very good quality, yet reasonably priced thai dishes. Their service is fast too, so it's great. If you are planning a group lunch party on a Friday afternoon, do book in advance. The place gets busy during lunch hours.

This is real Thai food at it's best. Inexpensive and tasty, try the larb chicken or pork, you will not be disappointed. The place is non-smokey/stuffy. Service was fast and friendly. The waitress gave us a bottle of water as soon as we sat down. We ordered a stir-fried pork with rice, pad thai & omelette.
I recommend this to anyone who loves real Thai food.

The food here is amazing. I live 40 mins away from this restaurant and have eaten there at least 20 times with friends and clients. The whole fried fish with mango salad and the fried ice-cream are the most amazing flavours you will taste. Red curry duck 'absolutely sensational'. Green curry veggies & cashew vegetables delicious. 'Pineapple' juice was very unpineappley and much more like orange postmix.
Highly recommended

This place has amazing food, atmosphere and service. Not cheap but excellent tapas and a wine list to die for. Waitress recommended a beautiful Tempranillo and clearly knew both her food and her wines. Decor is nice and great Spanish touches on types of plates (particularly on beef cheek in Pedro Jiminez and cauliflour puree). The flavors are kinda aromatic and complex, but definitely delicious.

This place you simple must try. I recommend getting there about 30 mins before open if you are eating there on a Saturday night to ensure you get a table in the first sitting. I loved the duck and the pork belly, but the weed and salt bush salads have since transformed my own eating, becoming regular ingredients in my own kitchen! Staff knowledge of the food and wines is exceptional. They were highly attentive, without being invasive and didn't miss a beat with noticing if our water needed topping up.

Excellent good, nice drink selection, great atmosphere and a waitress who remembered our table-of-four's order (entrees and all) without writing it down. So popular it seems by the queue of people and now I understand why. Such a great atmosphere where you share food and enjoy the amazing flavours from Africa and beyond. try the Popcorn Shrimp and the Pistachio icecream. The service is always top notch and the ambience friendly and inviting. Not to be missed.

i went to stitch on a saturday afternoon. the cocktails were delicious, the service was friendly, and they were playing a wonderful selection of new and old blues. Full of quirky designs and sewing machines under the bar, in the window. Even the table we sat at had a pedal on the floor as if it was a working sewing machine. you almost feel you have taken over the space of an underground sweatshop! Their cocktails are made with good spirits and they have an extensive range of cocktails and wine. It is nicely decorated and creates a initmate feel.

It's a mark of class that they bring diners an amuse-bouche after ordering - and it's unfailingly delightful. Entree of figs in blue cheese we shared which was just enough to sharpen the palate. Mains were cooked to perfection. My gnocchi was tasty with texture. Now it will become my new place of choice. Great food, professional staff and lovely ambience. 10 out of 10

The trovata is very fascinating place, It's memorable place in sydney. The service is friendly and helpful, not overbearing or snobby. The food is always perfect, we usually choose of the blackboard as we have worked our way through the menu and both are imaginative and delicious. Prices are reasonable. they have a nice selection of beer and wine to complement the experience. I definitely would return to this beautiful restaurant.

The door is quite hard to find. Awesome vibe and love the complimentary peanuts. I loved everything about this bar - amazing atmosphere, some crazy taxidermy on the walls - and fantastic music and energetic and friendly bar staff.
Highly recommend this place! It's one of those bars I've been waiting for all my life. What "The Basement" used to be without the expensive drinks. I think it closes at 12 so it isn't a late night place.
