Tree FX took down a large limb off a eucalyptus near my house and removed a couple of small trees and ground out the stumps. All aspects of their service were excellent. They came to quote exactly when promised, and the two separate teams who came to do the tree work and stump grinding were also timely, efficient and left the place clean and tidy. All the staff members were friendly, professional and very easy to deal with. They also took care to ensure I was happy with the work they did before finalising the job. Tree FX was also reasonably priced. I would recommend them highly and definitely use them again. Thanks for a top job!

Allboard sells a wide range of board products, including MDF. I recently bought some MDF from them and used their cut to size service to have it pre-cut for a DIY carpentry project (around 30 pieces).

Allboard were very professional, efficient and helpful. They came back to me very quickly with a quote, and the job was done within the time estimate they gave. They called to let me know it was ready, and were organised and prompt in finalising the job when I collected it.

The pieces were all perfectly precision cut, so I could get a really high quality finish on my project. The cut to size service also saved me heaps of time! I was happy with the price and will definitely go back to them when I need board products for future projects.

I tried a couple of different medical practices after moving into the area to try to find a good one and Belgrave Medical Clinic is the best by far.

The admin staff are very helpful, friendly and professional and were initially able to recommend the most suitable doctor for my particular medical issues.

I have seen a couple of different doctors there at various times and most of them are really good, including my now regular GP there. She is knowledge and thorough and genuinely listens.

The practice overall seems very well run and professional and is always immaculately clean and tidy. They are generally fairly punctual in keeping to appointment times, and also offer evening appointments which is great when fitting an appointment in around work. There is also disabled access for those who require it, as well as a number of different allied services within the practice (exercise physiologist, nurse etc).

The cost is very reasonable for the standard of service.

I bought a Honda mower from the Redshed in Mitcham and also recently took it in for repair when it wouldn't start. Their mower prices are a bit cheaper than their competitors, but that's where the positives end.

They offered nothing much in the way of advice on the mower purchase. I ended up with a mower that doesn't meet my needs (very heavy commercial mower that is no good for mowing a steep sloping block) which I will likely need to replace with a more suitable option.

I then made the mistake of taking the mower in there for repair when it would no longer start. They told me they had fixed it and all it needed was a service. They charged $140 for a basic service and when I tried the mower again at home it again failed to start and wasn't fixed at all.

I had no confidence in them after that and took it elsewhere to be fixed properly. The other place I took it quickly diagnosed the problem as bent linkages in the choke, and suggested the machine was probably damaged when I bought it. This confirmed for me that they hadn't checked the mower properly at all when I took it into the RedShed. A complete waste of money.

Extremely professional and high quality service all round when I recently had a new Daikin split system installed in my kitchen/dining area by Maroondah Heating and Cooling. Dean who did the quote came right on time, and was very patient and detailed explaining my options and answering all my questions. The price was the most competitive of three quotes I obtained. Roger and the electricians who did the installation did a fantastic job, in what was a difficult installation with challenging access and lots of existing piping to work around. They did an extremely neat and careful finish, and communicated really well in checking in with me as to whether I was happy with the location and appearance of all the new pipes and ductwork. They left the site really tidy and took all the rubbish, so that you'd never know they were there. I received the electricial compliance certificate within a day or two. The staff in the office were all really helpful, prompt and professional. Highly recommended on every level.

I recently had Jayee supply and install eight flyscreens. I was impressed with their service. The guy who came to measure was friendly and knowledgeable in offering advice on different screen options. They made the screens very quickly, and the person who came to install them did the job efficiently with no fuss. Both turned up when they said they would, and the business was friendly and prompt in thier phone service. Ideally their time slots to measure/install could be a little shorter (they give a three hour window), but this is a minor quibble. I would definitely use their services again. They also do shower screens, security doors, and other products (I found them from the label on my shower screen when I moved into my house).

Johnny from Xtreme Carpet Clean cleaned my carpet and upholstery when I moved house. He came across as professional, honest and friendly in his service approach. After obtaining a couple of quotes I went with Extreme Clean, as I had more confidence in dealing directly with an owner operator. He was punctual, efficient and did a great job. I would definitely go with him again next time.

Indigo Framing provided an excellent service reframing some of my linocuts. Scott took considerable care helping me choose some frames I was really happy with, and the results are perfect. The quality of the framing is faultless and they look so much better than the previous framing job - I can't stop looking at them! This is the second time I have used Indigo Framing and the first time they also did a stellar job. I would highly recommend them.

I arranged Triple 8 to clean my sofas and rugs after reading lots of positive reviews here. The service on the phone was professional, and they gave me an initial quote for their services including the rugs based on the exact dimensions. The technician was half an hour or so late, but they did call to let me know. He sought to charge me for cleaning a "large" rug than a "medium" I was quoted for, but adjusted the price when I pointed this out. The main problem was that he left the rugs and upholstery sodden wet. I've had carpets cleaned many times before and have never had them left in this state. I had to wring and squeeze all the excess water out and try to soak it up with towels, but even then the rugs and upholstery took days to dry out. The sofas were OK once they dried out, but the pile on the wool rugs was all clumped together because it was so wet and is not the same since. The prices were on the lower side but it seems you get what you pay for. Maybe it depends on which technician you get but I wouldn't use them again.
