Amazing range of locally designed womens wear, decently priced and exceptionally well crafted. The layout of the shop is sensible and stimulating .The change rooms are large and there is a box of toys next to a sofa, which is a very considerate touch. The staff are lovely, polite and helpful.
It is a warm and intimate cafe /bar,the coffee is excellent. The decor is retro without being scruffy and it somehow manages to feel like you're on the set of Cheers.
They provide a good range of building materials and tools. The staff are a generally helpful, but it is mainly for tradespeople that they are catering to.
For a gallery that an artist or artists can rent this is a very good venue. The owner is straightforward ,business like and respectful and the venue is well maintained. Also it is in a very good location in terms of showing off your work.
This place is brilliant for buying stapl foods and other products in bulk.It is also a sanctuary away from mainstream consumerism as it is a hub of political activismand a place where you can just hang out, too.

A really beautiful and unique toy store.Inspired by Steiner philosophy it has high quality hand crafted toys made with love and care.
Staff are always friendly and helpful.A lovely selection of high quality products. They do framing and canvas stretching too.
The clothes are unusual and also classic in style.Timeless and down to earth but managing to stay special whilst being wardrobe staples. They have that rustic Japanese feel that is modern without being too try hard.
