I have been here several times and the quality seems to be a bit hit and miss. I have taken to asking which of the cupcakes were baked that day before ordering. The range of flavors is good.
This store carries lots of specialist items and service is friendly and knowledgeable. A great store, easily accessible if you are looking for a specialty item.
I think this may be the biggest Borders in Sydney at the moment and as such there are a larger range of books on offer. Service is friendly, when you seek it out. A big range of sale books near the front door.
This shop has a great range of quilting cottons, Japanese linen cotton blend fabric as well as craft books and patterns. Staff are friendly and chatty and this can mean that sometimes you have to seek service rather than being approached and feel a bit like you are interrupting a social visit.
Approximate cost: $20-35
A great greengrocer in a major shopping centre with a large range of fruit and vegies. Service with a smile.
Approximate cost: $2-15
There is a huge range of button here and all are a different to what you can find in regular chain stores. The only downside I see is that the staff never step out from behind the counter. So while it is a place most people are happy to browse in a welcome and an offer of assistance would be appreciated.
Approximate cost: $>$15
Very generous with the taste and delicious fresh gelato! I recommend a cup, it catches the drips better.

My local lunch place. The food is good but because I eat there so often a change in the menu would be appreciated from time to time.
Approximate cost: $10-15
The food here is great and it is always really busy but that can sometimes have a negative impact in the service given.
Approximate cost: $5-$10
The service here is great and they have a great range. Twice a year sales are really good value.
