I used Petals to send a fruit basket to my elderly uncle. I shopped around online and found Petals offered a reasonable price and service. Of course my uncle was surprised and happy to receive a delivery but did not like to tell me that the fruit was actually mouldy on the bottom. When I advised Petals of this, they checked with the local florist who filled the order for them and came back and politely told me that unless I could provide photographic evidence, they did not believe me and would not take any action. I guess that in a lot of cases, where a delivery is made as a gift, the receiver does not like to tell the sender that there was a problem with the delivery and they would not generally think to photograph the problem! In these cases, I guess the florist may get away with poor service - especially when they may see that the order is going to a Nursing home or retirement unit. I have used a number of other online services to send gift baskets and flowers without incident so I would recommend that you shop around and use someone else before choosing an online service which does not support the customer when a problem occurs.

I have had trees removed and pruned as well as stump grinding done by these guys. They get the job done safely and are reliable - they did what was agreed upon with a reasonable price - however, they did not take care to protect or avoid my existing garden (despite reminders that they were damaging a newly planted garden by dragging branches over it instead of going around). Also, ran over a long row of newly planted flowers with the grinder! Did a great job with the trees and removal - if you use them and are worried about your garden, I'd suggest hanging around to keep an eye on things!

I have signed up with Escape net for my broadband and home telephone service. After comparing products and prices of all the competitors, I also checked how long it took to get through to customer service on the telephone - less than 2 minutes (amazing after waiting for ages for providers such as Optus and Telstra!). Not only that, I got put through to the right person first time and didn't get passed from one phone to another - also, I found I was speaking to someone in Australia!!!! My phone service and broadband is as good as what I had previously with Optus and before that Telstra - only its cheaper and when there is a problem, I get it solved quickly and without frustration.

I have purchased twice from this store with extremely disappointing results - the time on delivery has been much much longer than promised on their website. On the last occasion, I waited a long time before contacting them and asking them to cancel the order as it had taken so long - they contacted me back and agreed, however, still sent the order out. Once again, I contacted them as I no longer needed the items - they told me to return the package and they would provide a refund. I returned the package as instructed and have never received a refund - despite numerous contacts through their website and by email (they do not provide a telephone number - conveniently for them but not the customer) - no response has ever been made and no refund. There are plenty of similar sites on the internet with great prices and much better service - AVOID THIS ONE!

Regular fruit and vegetable purchases at this store - the produce is always of the highest quality and keeps for a long time. Also great for eggs, yoghurt and cheeses
