Have always heard how great this Hotel is and it was. Went for a family function and we were looked after very well by the staff, started with some platters of chorizo, olives, smoked
meats, feta, pickled baby vegetables, dukkah & crusty bread, main meals were filling, came with bowls of salad or vegetables to share, plenty of gluten free options and South Australian produce, we sat outside and the kids could play outside on the grassed area where we could see them.

Great renown coffee, nice cakes, gelato and light meals, quick service nicely located in the centre of the plaza so you can refuel on something tasty. Would be nice if they had more specials like coffee and cake, etc. Love the filtered water tap with ice provided.

Lovely place to catch up, dog friendly, they have a place out front you can attach the dog with its lead and bowls of water. Coffee good, and plenty of gluten free bread, etc. Had breakfast with the mushrooms bruschetta with rocket and parmesan, partners had bacon and eggs with 3 pieces of gluten free bread which was nice as the bread can be smaller in size. Nice place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A retro quirky cafe located in Kent Town, easy parking, wonderful artwork on walls, welcoming and engaging as soon as you walk in, David and Claire have produced a wonderful place to relax and experience amazing food, the McLaren Vale Wild Olive Shiraz was rich and complemented our Olive Themed menu, mostly South Australian sourced ingredients showcasing the inventiveness of the dishes. Started off with spiced olives, extra virgin olive oil, dukkah, and coeur de terre (pickled baby carrots, parsnip). I had the Atlantic salmon with a deconstructed Nicoise salad, so good. Plenty of gluten free options, partner had the Italian beef, orange and olive ragu which was rich and flavoursome. The dessert was wonderful, a deconstructed chocolate and olive oil torte with orange sorbet. I have been to many restaurants and this one would rate as second to Serafino at McLaren Vale. There is plenty of room and a back section that would be great to have a bigger function. There is a new Spring dinner menu to experience, highly recommend.

Great get together for friends, make wood oven pizzas in the courtyard. Smelt amazing, great ambience and rustic decor. Magnificent chandeliers. Had the fish and chips which was a generous serve of flat head with duck fat chips, so tasty, they had gluten free options, our group loved all their meals, only let down was they brought out the wrong meal for one guests and she didn't receive the meal she had ordered until we had all finished eating, free drink might have helped.

The venue was very chic, very roomy, lovely ambience. The service was top notch, we were looked after by Thung so well, felt very special. The drinks were served in sparkling glasses, both ordered drinks and complimentary water. The entree was beautifully presented along with a serve of cold roll papers so you could make your own with an assortment of fillings to suit yourself, great fun. The menu was very interesting and diverse, not the usual, so we experimented and had the crispy soft shelled crab and the salt and pepper prawns, wonderful flavours and just the right amount of heat. There were many gluten free options to choose from. Had the green tea creme brûlée and sticky rice with mango for dessert, so fresh and a great ending to a great meal. So glad to see such a fresh and innovated approach to Asian cooking in Adelaide.

Enjoyed a chocolate making class with Eddie and Paula, learnt a lot about chocolate and made some really interesting gifts. The shop stocks chocolate, nougat, and fudge to buy plus it is a cafe with great coffee, gluten free wraps, toasted sandwiches but the best thing is the waffles which are made fresh and served in many interesting ways like the Rocky Road, and Nutella, also have chocolate fondues, gelato all served in a warm and welcoming manner. Couldn't fault it, great place. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 7pm till late, which is great because not many places open late at night.
