Always have friendly service and are happy to carry big bags of dog food to the car.
Generally the best price around for pet food.
The aquarium downstairs has some great snakes and spiders to check out too.

The thing I love most about the Happy River Cafe besides the flourless orange cake is the laid back way you can just hang out. It has a massive lawn where you can pull up a mat and sit under a tree with your dog. There are lots of toys to amuse kids and sunscreen for summertime.
There is a great kids menu and they do a yummy breakfast. There is seating inside as well and they have recently extended the verandah for extra shelter in the winter time.

The best hot chocolate in Melbourne. But not cheap. They have great sausage rolls and vanilla slices and cakes and icecream. I could go on and on. Just don't forget your wallet!

Seriously, if there is better gelato in the west please tell me.
I am in love with gelato and this is to die for.
Such great flavours and quality. Such as apple pie which actually tastes like pastry and apples. Don't know how they do but it's amazing.
They also do pancakes and waffles and coffee for those who can't quite eat gelato in winter.

Fish and Chips with a great twist. Japanese food fused with fish and chips.
Yummy treats like vege balls which are vege version of octopus balls.
The fish is fresh daily and the chips are crunchy and golden.
The calamari is divine and comes with chips or a Japanese style salad.
You can also get a bento box with daily specials and there is super sushi boxes too.
There is bench seating for about 5 or 6 and maybe a table outside.
This is our new favourite fish and chips shop in the local footscray/seddon area.
A 'large' fish & chips last week was $12 and we got two huge flounder fillets and tons of chips with homemade tartare and lemon. Enough for two to share. OISHII!!

Really yummy Japanese food. Great for a quick takeaway or to sit down and eat. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Mostly things like teriyaki and katsudon etc. I haven't noticed any sushi but don't quote me. They also have a range of Japanese soft drinks in the fridge that are fun to try.
Takeaway comes in a bowl with a lid so you don't even need to serve it up on a plate when you get home!

A nice little shop where it is easy to get a parking spot out the front.
They have a great range of different baby and kids products including toys, nappies, shoes and clothes. The staff are friendly and happy to help you out.
They also sell some second hand products.
The sale section has some great bargains.

Lebanese Pizza.
Minced lamb and vegetarian but also pizzas with the dubious name of mother in law.
Haloumi cheese pastries and tasty home made dips and turkish bread.
Be prepared for a chat and a taste of something whilst you wait for your food. The owner is always friendly and happy.

I don't like going to the dentist but I like going to Dr Massie.
He is gentle and kind and not scary at all! His clinic is clean and his nursing staff are lovely.

The worst pain of all can also be the fee when you go to the dentist. His fees are very reasonable.
