I used Brentwood for my wedding and they were fantastic. They prompt in arriving and the drivers were lovely. There was an issue with getting a white car for transfer of the grooms, but they were really helpful in organising a shuffle of cars on the day. I would definitely recommend these guys for any special occasion.
I used this company for wedding flowers and the staff were friendly enough when i went in to en-quire about prices. When i went ahead to order they appeared to be unorganized and a bit haphazard. I gave them pieces of fabric from my wedding gown and bridesmaids dress to wrap the stems of the bouquets in - i received unwrapped boquets on the day with exposed stems, which i did not want. Also the quality of the flowers was dissapointing, they were already wilted and did not appear very fresh - depsite me receiving these at 9am in the morning. Also, then mens button holes were not delivered and I had to call them in between getting ready for my big day - not good to have this kind of poor service when timing is important in such events.
This is nice little Italian cafe/restaurant located in the small strip of store in Oatley. They make a really nice pasta and tasty gourmet pizza's. They are very busy Fridays and Saturdays so you definately need to book a table. They have sittings at 6pm, 6.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm.
Approximate cost: $14-20
This is nice little cafe that is co-located with a subway and a network video. They make excellent milkshakes and the oreo smash milkshake is awesome.
My oven broke down so I filled out the online form (with the correct address details) and they were prompt in calling to arrange an appointment. The technician called on the day and was quite rude to me for not being at the home awaiting him - but he had gone to the wrong address! (not the customer fault considering I had emailed the address clearly). The technician eventually found me and spent all of 10 minutes looking at the oven - he then proceeded to charge me $105 for this (he factored the time he had spent at the wrong address which as the customer is not my fault as I had provided the correct address and was there at the time i said i would be). I was then told a part had to be order which I agreed to - the impression the website gave was that they stocked these parts and that it wouldn't take more than 3 weeks to arrive (I was told 5-10 business days). All in all I was quite disappointed in the communication, service and prices charged (over $300 to fix an oven element).
Approximate cost: $155
This is part of the Petbarn chain and is a pretty good store. They have a decent range of pet goods and their staff are friendly and appear knowledgeable. The are good because of the loyalty club, however the only drawback is their prices are higher than other pet stores.
This is great pet shop that carries a good variety of cat supplies (as well as all other animals). The prices here are really good compared to some of the chain pet stores i.e. the brand of pet food i buy is several dollars cheaper. Also has a great range of pet beds, toilets etc.
My young kitten got ringworm and needed to be bathed once a week. Needless to say she didnt like that so Pooch's place was available to help with the shampooing (they shampoo both cats and dogs) and also clipped her nails.
I boarded my young kitten here when i went away for holidays for a week during the hot season. The staff were really nice and we discussed my kittens daily needs and they took care to confirm any dietary requirements. They were good value in terms of ease and price compared to some of the more expensive catteries.
