This place does great sushi. It's fresh and they have a lot of combinations on offer, more than most sushi train places I've been to. My favourite aspect however is that if you don't see something on the train that you'd like, you can request it and they will make it for you.

I also really like their desserts, and I think they aren't too expensive, though they definitely aren't a cheap place to eat. I love their scallops with cheese as well, and I enjoy going here when I'm in Chatswood and I feel like a lighter lunch.

This review is for Parma Cucina And Bar, Darlington NSW

Parma is one of my favourite places to go for hot lunch on campus at Sydney University. The food is very well-priced, particularly if you are a Access/Student Union member, and the coffee is reasonable. I have tried so much on their menu, and I'd have to say that I love their pizza and their chips, which improved dramatically at the beginning of 2013 and are now amongst the best I've ever had. The pasta is pretty average in my opinion, but if I've been running late and not had a chance for breakfast at home, I really like their flavoured lattes accompanied by a blueberry bagel.

Their service fluctuates, possibly depending on who is serving I suppose. While they used to be really friendly, I have encountered recently a number of staff who really aren't, and that has soured my experience slightly.

Wait time is noticeable, though I hesitate to say that it's a long time. There are large volumes of people passing through to get food, and that definitely impacts on the time it takes for your food to be presented to you.

This review is for Kuleto's Cocktail Bar, Newtown NSW

The cocktails here are complex and interesting. However, with that comes a price tag to match. They are roughly $16 a cocktail, with slight variants in menu when you move from level to level (there are two, with some drinks that look to be exclusive to each level). I'd suggest going during Happy Hour, 6-7:30pm weeknights, 6-7pm weekends, because it's buy one get one of the same cocktail, so grab a friend who has similar taste.

They do have a good offering that isn't typical to your usual bar, so if you're into unique mixes then this is a great place to try. It's atmosphere is nice and somewhat reflects the surrounding area of Newtown.

I really like the mix of music played here, very casual danceable music that's good for a large group who still wants some conversation. The drinks are pretty reasonably priced too, so a nice place for a chill night or wind-down from a night out.

This review is for Quad Food Court, Kensington NSW

This place is one of the nicer places to eat at lunchtime on campus, especially if you're unsure of exactly what you want to get, as they have a variety. The food is pretty well-priced, though it does get really crowded and the wait can be quite long. It's not bad quality, but overall, it's nothing amazing, though the sushi is pretty good.

This review is for La Banette Patisserie, Glebe NSW

This is one of the best cafes around the University of Sydney. A little bit of a walk, but so worth it. It is quaint, and small, but it just adds to the authentic French vibe that is presented as you walk in. I almost walked past it the first time, but the smell of fresh croissants beckoned, calling me in. I have not looked back.

My favourite are the ham and cheese croissants, which have a special filling in them that I have yet to identify. I am also fond of their pain au chocolat. They have a large variety of cakes as well, which look very enticing on display, tasting just as good as they look.

The service I have gotten here is excellent, they have given me suggestions and have always been really helpful with packaging up the small cakes and often offering to get me a freshly made one. Their coffee is also pretty good, no complaints there, but I am mainly there for their amazing food.

It's a shame they're not open on Mondays, but nevertheless, they are definitely worth visiting.

This review is for Luxe Bakery Cafe, Newtown NSW

This place is a really nice bakery, with lots of space, a rarity in most cafes close to the CBD. The area is very open, with a high ceiling, and I find this really adds to a great atmosphere, notable as it makes you feel less crowded in the area.

They have a great display of food, and it tastes as good as it looks! The service is pretty quick, and the line moves fast as well, so there's not a very long wait for your food. It is priced reasonably, similar to many of the other cafes within the area, I was very happy with my meal there.

Went with a few friends for lunch, it was a very enjoyable experience. The service was really impeccable, I was surprised not to see more people at the restaurant. The waitstaff were really professional and attentive, without hovering, but we were never left waiting long or looking for someone to come serve.

The food is quite good, though this isn't a cheap place to eat. It is reasonable however, and I really recommend the chips, they are hand cut and absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked very nicely as well, and it was a pleasure to eat. While I felt that it wasn't a wholly unique dining experience, the food was good, and it is located in a more business area of the city, making it a lovely place to go if you have a slightly longer lunch break.

This review is for Takeru, Chatswood NSW

This place is one of my favourite places in Chatswood to eat. It is a nice, tucked away restaurant with a fantastic understated decor, and touch screens for ordering.

I appreciate that they offer half-sizes for many of their more popular dishes. I am fond of the tonkatsu doria, as well as their creamy spaghetti. I feel like the portions of their half-sizes are definitely enough for myself, and I know some of my friends who have a heartier appetite will often order two half-sizes to try more of their menu. Their mentai potato salad is also definitely worth a go, it is very unique to their menu and a great salad.

They also have a kids play area, which seems like it would be handy for those with younger children who aren't as interested in the eating aspect of this restaurant. Thoughtful, and service is good.

Excellent food. The burritos are much better here than the ones from many other similar stores. They have a more distinct flavour, and even the rice has a spicy/salty seasoning which prevents them from being too dense and plain. The quesadillas were also really good, and the soft drink is so cheap here when you buy with food!

Everything came out really quickly, there was barely a wait, which is a definite bonus as a student who only has an hour or two in between classes for lunch. The cashier and staff were friendly and efficient, I'd definitely recommend a visit!
