Updated 14/4/2013: I had the best roast lamb sandwich here for lunch last week! Warm roast lamb, delicious chutney, chunky bread (I'm trying to remember what else was in it - sour cream? Mayo? Something creamy and yummy!) I'd go back for it again (and I will!)

$12 might sound a bit steep for a sandwich, but not when you see it and taste it. It really was great.

Food is good, fairly low budget and enjoyable. Last time I was there was with a group from work - service was poor, took a long while to get a waiter to our table, they didn't ask about drinks - could've sold us several bottles of wine if they'd bothered to try. After main course, we waited and waited for the waiter (aptly named) to take our dessert orders - finally gave up and left. Several of us had to go to work for night shift, and couldn't wait anyway. They could've made a lot more money from us if their service had been better.
Having said that, the food was good, and would go back again for a casual dining experience.

Has been a favourite restaurant of mine for the 20 years I've lived here. The Chimichangas and New York Fajitas feature at every visit. Great takeaways too, can phone orders in and pick up. Service is always friendly and good, atmosphere is great, desserts wonderful. Please don't ever close!

Convenient when shopping at Centrepoint, coffee always smells wonderful but never quite tastes up to expectations. Cakes and desserts always tempt me, I keep going back, am never disappointed by the cakes but always by the coffee.

Great for what it is, pub food with equivalent service. Always an enjoyable meal, good value, have small roasts (my Mum finds this important) at a lower price and a seniors discount.

Expensive, but worth it for the excellent seafood and the wonderful views, as well as the quality service. Has been a favourite for the 20 years I've lived in Hobart. Lovely atmosphere.

Great seafood, casual dining experience, very family friendly - have colouring pencils and papers for kids to use while waiting. Queue for service, can take a while in busy periods, but worth the wait. Licensed, great place to sit outside on a gorgeous summers day, right on the waterfront, or for a casual family evening out.

Had dinner there recently with a group from work, everyone said they were pleased with the food. I greatly enjoyed the lamb shank risotto. Loud, but it's what you expect from the location. Stunning night views out over the water and docks area.
Good service

Replaced 18 small windows in my sunroom with leadlight windows I had made. Did a great job, didn't get the designs mixed up, secured them well when it became obvious that using putty wouldn't work - used silicone and then wooden beading, I was getting the whole frames painted afterwards anyway, worked well.
Professional and friendly, did a good job. Would recommend.
