We are staying in a budget cabin for $70 per night. Lovely comfy double bed, linen provided, en suite, great shower plenty of hot water. There is a small fridge in our room, communal kitchen and Laundry facilities. Only 7km from the City, Coles supermarket not too far away, Fantastic value in really pleasant surroundings.

Having got off the Spirit of Tasmania we were looking for breakfast this Macdonalds is the first one you come to on the Western Ring Road. Very Clean facilities, experienced staff, speedy service and low cost meal. Papers available to check the news over breakfast, an enjoyable experience.

A delightful mix of goods, from local art, to retro kitchen equipment. Furniture and clothing, books, recycled items, saw a lovely wheeled trolley, perfect for bbq's and parties made from a door with items set in resin, most unusual. Well worth a look if you are passing.
