This review is for Ryan's Web Design, Ermington NSW

It couldn't have been easier to have a website created for our small business (www.easycarcleaning.com.au)! Ryan has exceptional attention to detail and truly cares about the job he does. He even helps with suggestions on how to promote the business. Ryan is committed to ensuring that we are happy so even when we ask for little tweaks to be done, he does so with pleasure. This is how businesses SHOULD be! We would highly recommend Ryan's Web Design to others. Thanks, Ryan.

This review is for White Orchid Thai Day Spa, Toowong QLD

I experienced the Ultimate Package at White Orchid Thai Day Spa and it was wonderful!!! You can choose whichever 1hr massage you want plus the reflexology. My therapist was strong yet gentle and provided just the right amount of pressure. It included a mini facial, complete with massage and lovely products.

The Day Spa itself is beautifully decorated in Thai style. It's pretty, fragrant and relaxing with lovely dark wood accents. Street parking is right outside the door.

Owner Joop is lovely, highly professional and keen to make sure clients are well looked after. If only more people knew about this little oasis! It was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon to wind down from a busy week, and I highly recommend it to anyone who feels frazzled and in need of a bit of TLC.

This review is for Fuzzy Duck, Kedron QLD

Best Eggs Benny in Brisbane, particularly for a Paleo customer like me! They make their own inhouse hollandaise and are always happy to oblige with custom orders which I really appreciate.

They often have gluten free foods in the cakes cabinet which contains all made-on-the-premises treats. They are also stocking interesting local brands such as juices and other drinks.

The decor is cute, the service friendly and parking is pretty good.

MUST-TRY!! Order the duck fat chips. They're thrice cooked, big and fat and utterly delicious, served with a smoked garlic aioli.

This review is for Paleo Cafe, North Lakes QLD

I love that the staff at the Paleo Cafes are knowledgeable and informative, though never preachy or condescending. You get top quality Paleo-appropriate food in a welcoming environment. When I stopped in for lunch, I had the seared Tasmanian salmon served on bed of creamy sweet potato and pumpkin puree with crisp asparagus and a tangy lemon and caper ghee. I also chose Bulletproof Coffee which was exceptional!

The cafe stocks a range of Paleo products that you can buy to take home. Parking is nearby and some of it is under cover.

This review is for Symposium Cafe, Fortitude Valley QLD

The food at Symposium Cafe is designed to offer Paleo and Primal meals. I had the Grass Fed Pulled Lamb Shank with Sweet Potato Mash & Wilted Spinach. It was also served with a poached egg.

The staff are friendly and helpful and made the meal a pleasant experience. I ordered a Bulletproof Coffee and found it odd that they didn't blend it before serving. It literally was a cup of espresso with MCT and ghee forming oil pools on top. The waitress happily took it away and blended it though so all good.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare around the area but be patient and you'll usually find a metered spot nearby.

Plenty of options on offer including cold press coconut water coffee, freshly made juices and smoothies and the opportunity to 'Create Your Own Meal'. They have a list of elements such as roasted duck fillet, NZ salmon fillet and marinated prawns plus sides such as field mushrooms, grilled halloumi, half an avocado or hollandaise, and you put together the ones you want. Affordable and quick. Highly recommend.

This review is for Primal Pantry, Nundah QLD

Tried Primal Pantry for the first time. I've been Paleo for two months now and am always looking for something different to inspire my home cooking. On this day for lunch, I chose the Paleo Moussaka and the Avocado Cress Salad. Both were fresh, tasty and well presented.

You receive complimentary filtered water, and there are plenty of non-Paleo options to choose from if you prefer.

There are actual chefs in the kitchen, all taking great pride in the quality of the food that goes out. The staff are fairly knowledgeable about Paleo and this could probably be enhanced a bit.

This review is for Graziers Steakhouse, Albany Creek QLD

verified email - 05 Mar 2015

Haven't been to the Albany Creek Tavern for years so on this night, when we were looking for somewhere different to go, we looked around online and came up with this. Graziers Steakhouse does an excellent steak but there are also plenty of other options for those who aren't meat lovers. The prices are reasonable and there seem to be some great specials, depending on which day or night of the week you go.

Parking is plentiful, the service is friendly and helpful and there's a full bar, as you'd expect in a tavern. Comfortable seating, kid-friendly and quick service.

Really enjoyed our meal here as the food was very fresh and presented beautifully. We had to ask for a few variations on our dishes due to dietary requirements and the staff obliged with a smile. The buffalo mozzarella was superb and the side of olives was wonderful. I used the oil from the olives to dress my steak when it arrived. Next time, I'm keen to try the Carpaccio di Manzo. Knowing how fresh the food is, I can feel confident in ordering it.

Can't fault Dell'Ugo, thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

This review is for Elixir Totally Natural Skin Care Products, Stroud NSW

verified email - 11 Sep 2014

If only Elixir's skin care products had the marketing budget to be out there and in (and ON) everyone's faces!! People don't know what they're missing. Everything is 100% natural, and by natural, they mean gentle, clean, fresh, handmade and precious. Don't be fooled into thinking so-called 'natural' ingredients such as parabens are good for you. Yes, they're natural, but they're still harsh. Elixir's products don't contain any of that nonsense. In fact, the ingredients lists read more like a food recipe.

I particularly love the Pure Gaia Gel. It smells luscious and comforting and it goes on so beautifully. I lavish my skin with it and my skin loves it.

I seriously can't believe the products are just $15, for the quality of the ingredients that go into them. Big brands and designer cosmetics charge you for the name. I hope my review motivates you to try Elixir Skin Food because it's honestly beautiful stuff.

If I have to name a second favourite product, it'd be Four Treatments Refining Face Mask. My skin feels brand new after a treatment.

Thanks to Sarah for being so obliging with advice and recommendations. She really knows what she's talking about and which product is right for which skin type. She should ... she makes them herself!

This review is for Starting Point Foot Massage, Greenslopes QLD

Not just a massage business but they also do nails and reflexology. I had a good remedial massage there and found the staff to be friendly and warm. The premises are clean and well-decorated and you can choose to either have a foot bath, a seated massage or a table massage.

They do the full gamut of nail treatments and massage treatments. Prices are in line with other nail and massage salons.

They offer HICAPS rebates on the spot which is always good and, being situated in Stones Corner Village, they are very handy to a lot of businesses. Staff can drop in on their lunch break for an appointment.
