Very cool and hip decor, not sure if we were cool enough! Service was cool but friendly if we were. Took time to take our order but the food arrived very quickly and drinks even quicker during a normal lunchtime. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich which was smallish but yum. Others enjoyed the middle eastern spicy chicken, this was a standout with all of us having little tastes and wishing we'd ordered that. The pork pulled bun with chipotles was pronounced to be yum! Next time I will try the delicious looking coffee, a bit late in the day for me this time. Overall, a very hip cafe with great food, relaxed service and typical prices for this area.

I will give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy lunchtime, but we waited for one hour for our food, then when it came it was rather disappointing. Two of us had pizzas, one was happy with an asparagus, chicken and pesto pizza, another had a gourmet mushroom pizza which was just OK. I had a lunch special which was a purchased pastry tart that was quite dry and hard filled with a shredded beetroot and feta cheese combination, not sure what possessed me to order it, it had a few very nice prawns on the side which redeemed it a little. The waitress attempted to be friendly but the wait was inexcusable, they took the price of a very average bruschetta off our bill, but I will not go here again. It did look very busy though so maybe we were just unlucky.

This is funky restaurant in Fed Square with basically all Japanese food. I ordered the only Korean thing on the menu, Bibimbup. It was a huge serve and very tasty. The other two people I was with ordered the miso ramen and enjoyed it. Lovely friendly service and the fact that we went late afternoon made it a very enjoyable meal.

This place is similar to a lot of the places in Fed Square. Through experience I have found them to be rather overpriced with average to OK food. My kids loved their chips and serves were very large. My club sandwich was huge, almost too big for me to eat, taste OK. My husband and son had a very nice side salad which was quite fresh with the dishes and daughter enjoyed her calamari. Overall, a decent cafe experience, service ranged from friendly females to an indifferent male. A reasonable place for breakfast and lunch in Fed Square.

In Japan these shops are called 100 yen shops as everything is 100yen, which sadly translates to $2.80 here, not quite the same ring to it! Anyway they have the same great range here, although not as large as in Japan. Stock is constantly changing and there are lots of nice Japanese style dishes and bits and pieces, great origami paper and lots of fun things for kids. You should definitely check it out as you will find something you need and at $2.80 it won't break the bank!

Gorgeous dining space and fantastic service! They have quite an exotic menu and have been awarded one hat from The Age Good Food Guide. Some ingredients such as wallaby and roast emu flan were only for the adventurous ( none of my friends would try) but I ate a range of shared entrees which tasted great, the chilli bocconcini and duck with pistachio etc were yum. I was a bit of a wimp with a main course of chick pea pasta which was actually much better than some other's main courses, husband slightly disappointed with his seafood pasta. Desserts were fantastic, mine looked like an antipasto platter but was actually chocolate " salami", marzipan "olives", semi freddo icecream (mmmmm) "cheese" and a cute little brioche which looked like a cheese. This platter was the highlight of my evening. A lovely place for a night with friends, be prepared to pay though!

Went here for the first time the other day and was impressed with their huge range of cooking implements, glasses etc. bought some of those thermo glasses that you can have have hot or cold drinks in which are great. Lots of lovely Le Creuset casseroles as well. Close to South Melbourne market and lots of groovy cafes, it is well worth a trip.

We have been here a few times as its a bit hidden in Fed Square so both times it has been pretty easy to get a table. Both times we had children with us and staff were very nice to them and made sure their meals came out quickly. The food is standard cafe fare to me, kids enjoyed calamari, my pasta was fine. It was a bit pricey for a family so we didn't really have desserts and drinks, however serves we're large and we were satisfied. The first time at night we were outside and we
enjoyed at as w felt as if we could be a bit noisier.

This shop sells a huge amount of lollies nd biscuits to the public, but also to wholesalers. Don't go straight after school gets out because it will be packed with the local school kids who know where to get a bargain on lollies! Great prices and a wide selection, this is a family run business.
