This review is for Grandvewe Cheeses, Birchs Bay TAS

Grandvewe cheeses is a favorite place of mine. The staff are incredibly genuine and friendly, taking the time to explain the process of the cheese making and offer samples of all their products. The quality of their products are outstanding. The food and produce prepared is of the highest gourmet quality and the staff are truly passionate about what they do. The views from the building are gorgeous and the lunch platters avaliable are exquisite.

This review is for Seven Birds Charcoal Chicken Takeaway, Kingston TAS

Seven birds serves incredibly tasty meals, featuring their beautifully seasoned chicken. One of my favorite aspects of this store is the side dishes and salads available, offering some very healthy and exotic salads, which are very filling and alone can make a great light meal. Their prices on chicken and chips as takeout are particularly reasonable and are generous servings. I love the clean and fresh layout of the shop.

This review is for Kingborough Book Exhange, Kingston TAS

This small secondhand bookstore has a somewhat of a large range of books avaliable. The prices are a little steep generally and I have often found the service to be really very poor. The layout of the store makes finding books a little difficult. To be honest I am surprised this store is still in business as I have seen titles selling new for less that the secondhand prices this store is charging.

This review is for Chill Cafe, Kingston TAS

A pleasant cafe situated in Kingston. The menu offered has some nice, light and healthy meals, in my experience, the service, although not brilliant is at least efficient and the meal is served relatively quickly. The coffee is good and the seating layout is spacious and the atmosphere rather relaxing. I believe there is need for improvement upon this cafe though is a suitable place for a light meal.

This review is for Jenerick, Kingston TAS

Jenerick is a sweet little gift shop located in Kingston shopping area. They offer a large range of gifts- ornaments, toys, books, candles, amongst other things. They are a little over-priced mainly, though they do provide some very beautiful products which have been imported from overseas and therefore can be difficult to source in Tasmania.

This review is for Fullers Bookshop, Hobart TAS

I always love popping into Fullers book shop. I could spend hours look through their extensive range of books. The store is very well set out and the staff have always been very helpful. There is a fantastic cafe within the store, which adds to the great experiance of visiting Fullers. The prices are a little on the more expensive side but there have been sales in the past from which I have scored very good bargains.

This review is for UMAI Sushi Bar, Kingston TAS

verified email - 27 Apr 2012

When ordering from Umai, the sushi I ordered was made as I waited. I was able to watch the prepartation of my meal and was very impressed with the food provided. However, I was waiting for quite some time for my order to be prepared. I was a little disappointed as I had hoped when ordering from a takeaway sushi store that the service would have been a little faster. The food however was very tasty, and the menu offered was very broad.
