This is a great local business with knowledgeable and helpful staff. They have great special; buckets for roughly $1 with quality fruit. There is a good selection of fruit and vegetables and they also bread and milk (cheap). Also, they offer interesting sauces, pastas etc. There is also a huge pet fish on premises that entertains the kids while you get the shopping done!
This is the best Chinese take away for miles around. We travel over 15 minutes to get there, it is just that good. The prices are average but it has a great selection on the menu. A must is the "Good Food Special Duck" and also the Spring Rolls are absolutely sensational. There is usually a park out the front which also helps.
Approximate cost: $14.00
This is a family owned bakery where the quality and price are still great. They also do fabulous sponge slabs for any occasion. There is a good selection, however, you can not go past the fresh sponges filled with fresh cream for under $6. A bargain!
The best Christian shop in Brisbane. This one has a coffee shop with really reasonable prices and while the grown ups have coffee and cake, the kids can either play in the fenced play area or watch suitable DVDs in the indoor play space.
The range is enormous whether you are looking for music, bibles, fiction, non-fiction, children's literature, gifts, and the list goes on!
There is a good range of giftsand cards, including Christian gifts. The service is excellent. The owner is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I even took some balloons for a Charity morning tea and she blew them up just $1 each. Everywhere else I tried wanted between $3-$5. A great local business.
I couldn't believe the tuition my children received. They were put into really small classes and sometimes had a one-on-one lesson. My children were swimming in no time and so much more confident in the water!
