This is a buffet style restaurant. It's reasonably priced but average quality. I must admit that I am quite fussy. Some of my family rave about it, but it resembles canteen food to me. Nothing cooked to any quality standard. The goal of patrons attending seems to be to eat as much as physically possible.
Quality here is good for the price. Meals are prepared and cooked quickly and service is friendly. They do lunch specials during the week which are even better valuue. Highly recommend.
Billy Baxters has been here for years. It's always been reasonably priced, service standards are hit and miss and unfortunately so is the food. I do think they have improved from many years ago. The quality is now better and everything comes out quite nice (Especially for the price). Fish and chips are always a winner
We've bought quite a lot from here including some Bodum glasses, a childrens designer lounge and many other items. You really must be careful about the prices. I have found them to be charging the same price with postage on top on some occasions.
It's a little expensive here but very yummy. We particularly favour the varieties with nuts in them. Any of the nutty caramel flavours are divine. My only request is bring in some organic varieties. That would be wonderful considering corn is the most commonly gmo product next to soy.
The quality here is very good for the price. You can't expect fine dining obviously but still very reasonable. Most meals are good and the servings in the little round containers are deceivingly large. Great value take-away
This Tavern can be a little hit and miss but mostly hit. It's reasonable quality for the price but nothing stand-out. We've had various fish dishes from here over the years, lamb and steaks and nothings been outrageously bad. I don't think we've ever complained. It's always produced reasonable meals, just rarely anything you say "oh wow" about.
The quality of the meat here is really lovely and the staff very helpful. We shopped here for many years and loved how great of a selection they had. I had asked them in the past about possibly bringing in organic meat. It would be great to see them take on that request.
This little candy shop is located within Chermside Shopping Centre. They have a huge selection of mainstream lollies from around the world, and in particular American lollies. The prices are pretty average but it's to be expected. They unfortunately don't sell any raw chocolate in this store. It would be good to see them pick some up.
This is a very cute little cafe. My husband and I attended here the very first day it opened and it's remained a favourite. We love the chocolate croissants. I also enjoy the salad rolls they have made daily. They are quite expensive and I will admit it isn't pricepointed at all well but enjoyable all the same.
