This is a reasonably new restaurant just over the road from The Alex Surf Club. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are superb and are very large. The service is quite fast and very friendly. On our visit there we had their Blue Lagoon Sandwich and Indigo Burger for our lunch. There was far too much to eat on our plates and it was excellent value. They also have a kids menu. The restaurant itself is very light and airy and there is also seating available outside. If you are looking for somewhere new on the coast for a meal I would thoroughly recommend it to you.

We always make a point of visiting here after our holidays at the Sunshine Coast. It is a lovely, clean and welcoming shop. They have very large pies, sweet and savoury. Also, pasties, sausage rolls and cakes. They are a little expensive but the size and quality of the pies I think far outweighs this. Our favourite pies are Curried Steak, Steak and Bacon and their pasties. They also have large pies which will easily feed a family of six. They also have a rewards scheme. I would recommend a visit here.

We have been here twice for holidays. We love it here, there is a massive lagoon for swimming and it is over the road from the the Alex Surf Club and the beach. The only downside is that the one bedroom apartments do not have an oven, only a microwave and hot plates, but there are plenty of BBQ's over the road.

This famous pub is located next to Aussie World and is a pleasure to visit. It has a wealth of history and funny cartoons on the walls to read. Bluey's Bar and grill has a good menu and the service is fast. I would reccommend this to anyone wanting a good night out or lunch.

I recently visited here during the week and it was closed. We went back on a Saturday when they hold a market day there, which was a lot of fun browsing the stalls. The pineapple itself is very educational and interesting and you get a great view from the top of it. It is a great place for kids and adults alike.

This is a fully licensed and take away restaurant. Their food is lovely and it is a nice well appointed restaurant. We like to get take away and our favourites are Honey Chicken, Beef and Black Bean and their fried rice. They have a family pack which is great value and you can change the content of the pack if you don't like a particular item. They are open every day except Mondays and also have an Australian menu. They also cater for functions. I reccommend this restaurant for anyone who likes Chinese food and wants value for money.

This is a family owned business which has been servicing Jandowae for many years. We always get our cars serviced here and are always pleased with the results. It is an agent for RACQ and also serves petrol and gas supplies. It can be a little overpriced but with the old fashioned service you recieve I think it is a lot better to take my car here for servicing and repairs than going to one of the larger agents, which are around 50km away.

We recently visited here after seeing a sign advertising it near the highway we were driving on. We picked our own strawberries and some of them were very large. They were sweet and so much better than you buy in the shops. The staff were very friendly and we were able to view the production line where the strawberries are packed from a viewing platform. We had a lovely time there and I am sure it would be a great outing for children.

We recently visited this shop on quite a few occasions to buy fish for barbeques. The quality of the fish is very good and there is a large variety of fresh fish and seafood to choose from. I thought the fresh prawns were a little overpriced especially when they have been locally caught. But, if you want fresh fish to take home and cook I would reccommend this shop to you.

I recently visited the "Alex" for dinner. The meals were of the best quality and priced very well, in fact, there was far too much on the plate! The atmosphere was very friendly and on Friday and Saturday nights they have live entertainment to enjoy. They also have a courtesy bus running so you can have that extra drink without having to get a taxi back to your motel (this has to be booked first) It is a very busy club, with lots of things happening like Bingo and prize draws etc. I would reccommend this to anyone who is visiting the area and wants a good value meal and entertainment.
