The decor and atmosphere of The Bombay Bicycle Club are breathtaking! The menu includes the standards as well as an impressive range of more unusual meals and appetisers. The entertainment is usually good too. The staff did a great job with our last party, ensuring all ran smoothly and we all had a good time.

Take the time to have a wander around, the whole place is quite stunning. I am always tempted to wear something with an Indian flair when I visit.

Just about everything these ladies sell they made themselves. Gorgeous gothic wear, corsets, dresses, skirts, pants, tops, cloaks, vests, bustles, petticoats, even jewellery. Unlike off-the-rack clothing, everything here is well made. I have dresses and corsets which still serve me well 10+ years after I first bought them. I have a necklace I bought from here, which is 11 years old and has not lost a single stone.

Everything looks authentically gothic as well. Best of all is the made to measure service. No more wrong length sleeves or bits that do not sit quite right.

I love everything in this shop! The costume jewellery is stunning, yet not too pricey. This is the only place I have been able to find decorative hatpins. Their hats and hair accessory range is incredible! The service is amazingly friendly and helpful too!!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! This shop is delightful! They not only have lollies from my childhood which I can't find anywhere else, they have lollies from my Grandmother's childhood as well! here are Australian, New Zealand, UK and S lollies and drinks and all at much more reasonable prices than I would expect. Blackeby's are South Australian and have been in business for over 100 years. The store looks great from the outside as well.

For an unusual present I bought a pretty jar and filled it with a mixed assortment of Blackeby's sweets.

When I am in the city and looking for something small, but unusual, I will find it here. Tools for the car, camping gear, souvenirs, clothing, knick knacks, jewellery, hats, kitchenware...

Unusual things I have found here, but nowhere else in the city include, fishing sinkers, an oil pump wrench, curved mirrors, inexpensive wide-brimmed sunhats, fairy wings, ballet slippers, an onion slicer and more.

This review is for Cavan Steak Van, Cavan SA

This is where you'll find the greatest steak sandwiches on Earth! The steak is sliced so thin and cooked so beautifully it melts in your mouth. The place itself is little more than a tin shack in the front carpark of the Cavan Hotel, seating at picnic tables and sometimes there is quite a queue waiting to be served, yet people come for miles just because the steak sandwiches really are just that good!

Just a tip, grab extra napkins, the sandwiches are juicy.

I have never been more disappointed or felt more ripped off in my life. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. We rang ahead and booked an appointment to leave the car with them, for a quote only. Never in our wildest dreams could we imagine what happened when we returned to discuss the quote. They had, without permission, removed our engine and started replacing it with another. When we said that we had only asked for a quote and had not agreed to any work, they said they could not legally allow us to drive the car with such a bad engine and they had saved us time by starting the job immediately. When I pointed out that they must've ordered the new engine after we called to book the appointment they called the police and had us removed from their property, without our car. By morning our lawyer told us they had a lien placed on our car, which meant we could not have our car back until we either paid or a judge ordered them to give it back. By this time they were claiming we had ordered the job done. We had no proof that they were lying, so in the end just paid them the exhorbitant price they charged. I would warn anyone against leaving their car unnattended even within the vicinity of this shonky business.

Very, very impressed!!! Lessons are $60 each and worth every penny! The instructors imbue confidence in their students right from the very first lesson. I rarely give 5 stars for anything, yet would happily give 6.

Ask for Alan, he is fabulous. Little tips I was given on things like how to park and look like I have been parking for years really helped my confidence. Alan is also a fun person and had me laughing lots, which also took away nervousness.

This review is for World's End Hotel, Adelaide SA

Great atmosphere is the first thing I noticed here. Rather than one big, crowded dining area, The World's End has lots of little places to tuck yourself away, enjoy your meal and your conversations. Then larger areas for bigger groups, plus a pool table. It can get crowded, especially when there is a good band. The food is marvelous, try the caesar salad, it is second to none! The staff are super friendly and do their best to make their customers happy. This is one place we will return to again and again.

The food here is fantastic, although a little pricier than some hotels. There is a big dining room, with a variety of table sizes. We were impressed they were able to accommodate a party of 60 with little trouble and arrange the tables in such a way that we all felt we were still together even though at different tables. Meals were brought out quickly, with no dramas or mix-ups. The karaoke was a lot of fun, especially for a large group like ours. I would happily have other parties here.
