Lovely little general store. A good range of magazines available. The place is nice and clean, with great service. They are happy to hold newspapers for you on request.
Ordered takeaway pizza from this restaurant. The pizzas were ready when promised. Service was efficient and courteous.
Sat down for an early lunch. Had to wait 10 minutes for a menu, despite there being only 4 other customers. We were then told that they weren't serving lunch yet. Decided to leave, as the waitress wasn't particularly polite and we weren't off to a good start waiting that long for menus anyway.
The prices at this restaurant are a little cheaper compared with others on the same street. The service is ok. Not fast, but not too slow either. The decor is very dated, and the inside of the restaurant doesn't have much natural light, so is quite dark.
This store has a great range of baby clothing, shoes and toys, with a good range of brands. I do find them to be expensive-eg a book I could buy at another store for $14, they charge $19.50 for. They don't seem very competitive price wise with a lot of online stores that I tend to purchase from.
The service is average. When I have shopped there, I am greeted on entry, but not offered any assistance whilst in the store, despite being the only customer. I did find the sales assistant very chatty today when I paid though.
A lovely bookstore with a great range of books. I especially like browsing in the kids section for my 2 year old. I do find the prices a little steep, especially with websites like bookdepository; but sometimes just like to go to a local store and browse.
It is usually very quiet inside and potentially not a great place to take kids. The aisles can also be difficult to maneuver with a stroller.
My husband and I purchased our wedding bands at this store, after having it highly recommended to us by a friend. We found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. They were happy to post our bands interstate for a nominal fee.
Whenever I visit Canberra, I make a point of stopping here and getting one of the delicious bento boxes on offer. Everything is fresh and crisp, and the flavours are amazing.
The queue for service can get quite busy (out the door) at lunchtimes but the wait is never too long.
I have been seeing Sharizaar O Heart, a craniosacral therapist, at TLC for several months. I also referred my mum, as she was fantastic and I was very happy with the results.
I have also spoken with Melanie, a Calmbirth educator and doula, about my plans for an upcoming homebirth. I have found her to be a very good listener, as well as supportive.
Massage is also offered at the rooms.
We had our wedding reception here. For the most part, our wedding planner was very helpful. The day ran smoothly. Food was perfect. Only downside was 9 or so of our cupcakes were surprlus and we never had them returned to us...disappointed as they were so yummy!
Dance floor is separate from the dining area and may not suit all weddings.
