We went here on a Saturday night with a friend from overseas to show him a fun night out in Sydney. unfortunately the first comedian and the MC were pretty painful. The main act however (a guy from Queensland) was great and saved the night from being a total disaster. I guess that is how it goes with stand up comedy but still we were disappointed. The venue is good though.

I bought my wedding dress from Akina Couture and thought Tracey was great. I had found the dress I loved elsewhere but Akina had it at a better price and I really appreciated the service. Tracey had a couple of great suggestions to make it even more perfect.

I get my uniform cleaned here. They are always efficient and do a good job, although sometimes I find the price is different for the same type of item on different days.
I am actually reviewing the bottle shop - not the hotel itself. I go here occasionally when I need to grab a bottle of wine on the run - it is not the cheapest bottle store by any stretch but it is handy, has everything you need and the young guy behind the counter is always friendly.
I took my cat here for a check up after he was shipped here from overseas. I was really pleased with the service. The vet thoroughly explained what issues he may face in Australia that he had never come across at home (ticks!!!) and what to look out for. It was a bit more expensive than I am used to but that may just be standard for Vets in Australia. Will definitely be using Vet Med as my usual vet.

Neil Pola is making our wedding rings for us. After a lot of shopping around and still not knowing what we wanted, we dropped into this little shop in the Greenwood Plaza and were stoked to find that Neil was patient, had lots of ideas and best of all because he is the Jeweller he knows what will and wont work and could quote on the spot. Would totally recommend if you are looking for bespoke jewellery rather than the same olds stuff you get from chain jewellers.
This is a standard Australia Post so the price, value etc are hard to get too excited about (I have never purchased anything other than stamps or envelopes, but they seem to have heaps of gift ideas floating about) however the service here is great, the owners are always friendly and chatty and they remember first names and generally go out of their way to make this feel like a local business.
We go here every work for a work meeting and these guys are great. Service is quick, courteous and the coffee is the best and cheapest along Blues Point Road (we worked our way along trying each cafe before settling on Lavender Blue) highly recommend the Turkish bread!

We went into Salman's looking for wedding suits and the owner was so helpful and knowledgeable and was willing to do a deal for buying more than one suit - so nice to deal with the person in charge who can make decisions right then and there rather than an employee who has no authority or vested interest in keeping you as a customer.
