The boxes I ordered were of good quality even when they are the type of boxes that are meant to be reused. There were some bumps but they still felt way more stronger than the cardboard ones. I am surprised there isn't more of such boxes used in Melbourne.

I was told to try their box rental services as cardboard boxes from the stores can be weaker and less safer. I just wanted less than 40 boxes just to pack up and move my stuff from my kitchen and garage. The boxes were much better than the cardboard boxes anyday. I can vouch for the ease of packing your items , even fragile , safely and securely as long as we got the right packing materials. I ordered even 4 glass boxes to keep my expensive cocktail glasses that came with tiers to separate the glasses.

I ordered like 70 boxes from this company they delivered it all the way to Newport for free. The guys came in their truck and left it on my verandah as per my directions. I came home and found it the way I asked them to do so. I assumed the boxes would be some flimsy boxes and that's why I said to put it under the cover of my verandah. But the boxes looked strong and can definitely stay out in the rains even and not be affected.

I find the responsiveness of the company a good factor. The office persons took down my request and my deposit and sent the boxes by 10am next day. They have a minimum amount to avoid their delivery charges , which my order easily reached as I ordered 20 medium, 20 large and 5 porta robes. I liked that the company had porta robes that I could use for storing all my clothes, which I have a lot. The boxes came with a bar to hang my dresses easily and not get crumpled. I ordered 42 boxes from The Box rental company and it worked out great for me. I ordered a mix of portarobes, large and medium boxes with two glass boxes too. They also supplied wrapping paper, label and tapes are per my request. The boxes were easy to setup with one just having to build the boxes up using the numbered flaps.

I was most happy with the 7 huge porta robes that I used to put all my clothes that needs to be in hangers so as not to crumple the clothes. I didn't need any tape to build the boxes luckily but I still can use the tape if I needed additional strength. I looked for renting boxes as a way to save on time and energy as buying around 35 carboard boxes can be plain cumbersome. Box rental company, which I found through googling , was ready to deliver the boxes the next day and I found those service very convenient. I placed an order for 40 boxes, including portable wardrobes and even glass boxes. The company as promised delivered the boxes next day and showed me how to setup the boxes. The boxes were indeed useful and I appreciated the convenience of such boxes.

They take a deposit for the rental and once that's done they deliver the boxes next day. I especially wanted bottle boxes with the partition to hold all the bottles and the firm provided that too. Our office was relocating and we had tons of stuff that had to go to our new office. Sourcing the boxes and materials for packing would have been a big trouble for us and additional costs of buying, transporting and disposing. Therefore renting boxes that are suitable for our needs from the box rental company was a good experience. The boxes were delivered/ picked up for free by the company and the boxes itself were way better than a cardboard. The company was good for my needs as I wanted thirty boxes to pack all the clothes, kitchenwares, books, music discs, photos etc. The boxes were really better than I imagined. The boxes could take the bumps one sees during the move. The company had small, medium and large and even bottle boxes. I didn't have to risk packing my wine bottles and glasses with other items and find it broken or leaking. Glad I used their services for these reasons.

I liked renting the boxes from these guys as they had all sort of boxes to fit the items I wanted to pack. My wine bottles could fit in the bottle boxes I got with the partition that had space for 9 bottles. They even had cup boxes to hold every mugs and cups I had. The boxes on rent idea didn't make much sense to me till the office explained the benefits of the boxes compared to cardboard boxes. Yes, it is some kind of plastic but as it is reused it is even stronger than expected. More flexible too. The guys delivered the boxes to my address for free and picked it up once I was done by the end of the rental period. I will do this more instead of just buying new boxes.

I am surprised to not have done this box rental thing before. The boxes were strong and yet able to bend to take any pressure . Of course it isn't a hard box but I liked this way as it was easier to pack and move. The office was courteous and took my order easily and sent the boxes within a day. Getting the miscellaneous house stuff in my storage locker sorted out needed me to get the boxes to put the stuff in. The boxes are good and strong and it's not as expensive as renting typical CARDBOARD BOXES boxes but still it's plastic box frames are flexible enough and strong. Boxes is what they for and what it did well for.me too. Their boxes unlike more typical ones have some flaps to close and lock the boxes-like flaps on pizza boxes. The boxes are sturdy and can take more weight than I thought. The rental process was easy as all I need to do was call and fix the date of drop off. The team came in a van and dropped off the boxes. They got me around 25 boxes as per my packing needs. By the time the rental period was done they came and picked up the boxes. Overall the company fit my needs well and I will use their services next time too.

I love the idea of renting boxes and the effects of not worrying about buying the boxes itself. The box rental company does that type of rental with it's good prices and good selection of box types. They even got wardrobe type boxes with cloth hangar rods, which I felt was a neat idea. After submitting a security deposit they sent a van the next day with all the boxes I wanted. The guy showed me how to assemble the boxes and I was surprised I didn't need any tape to build the box up. The boxes felt strong and it flexed well, handling the weight well. Good work I would say to the company for bringing these boxes to the city.

Box rental seems like a no-brainer to me but it was surprisingly an idea that is not full developed as a business here. I found very few options and in Melbourne, the box rental company felt most reasonable in price. I was happy to get a good rental price for the 35 boxes I ordered. The boxes were sent within two days and they mentioned like any rental I am responsible for the maintenance of the boxes. I was told if any damages were found I have to buy the box for the whole price. Well I guess that was something seen for any rental so I agreed and I used the boxes without any hitch. I took care not to damage it but the boxes were able to withstand more pressure than the traditional boxes. So at the end I was happy with the whole box renting experience with this company.

This is such a smart idea to rent out reusable boxes as people like me don't have the space nor the means to buy and store the typical cardboard boxes that could be really a handful. This company had blue reusable boxes that could look like cardboard boxes painted blue from afar. But it is even more light weight and sturdier than the typical ones. I didn't even need tapes to close the boxes as the boxes had interlocking lids and flaps that clamps down strongly. I used them to store my materials and it held up well by the end of the period I rented it for. They collect a security deposit , like any renting business does, and that is okay for me. Overall I give 5 stars for this.

My experience with Box rental company was entirely great. The boxes was larger than I imagined and I had more than enough room for two bedrooms, front room and other household items including utensils and cookware. I would recommend being clear with their terms and conditions at pick up of the rental boxes as you have limited time to talk with the delivery guy once he drops the box. Also this service was fast and got a delivery done within a day. Staff were very helpful, particularly the office people who gave us the quote and also gave me advice on how best to pack to avoid damage to my belongings.

Box rental company has superior customer service done at their office that makes you feel valued and understood. All interactions with them I was comforted by the fact that the staff were able to clearly explain the processes and next steps of the drop off and pick-up of the boxes. Box rental company is very reasonably priced compared to their competitors and they do not sacrifice price for reliability or service. They got rules to be wary of but once it is understood the process is super convenient. If I ever move again or need boxes for packing Box rental company will be my first call.

I loved the idea of using the blue reusable boxes to move without buying boxes at Bunnings or some other place that would eventually end up on in the dump. Using box rental company saved us a lot of money/hours on our moving company. Pretty much paid for itself. We moved thrice before we found these blue boxes, and I think because of it our movers finished way faster than even they anticipated! Labels (they provide) on each box meant the movers unloaded really fast without the need to pause and ask which box goes in which room. I was moving from mount Macedon and to help move my stuff I needed boxes that I wanted to buy. But few companies I called we're quoting a high price to deliver the boxes all the way out to Mount Macedon. They said as there is an atleast 70km drive from the city to my location it was not feasible for a low delivery fee. anyways I kept trying to find a reasonably priced service that will let me buy and get the boxes delivered to me. The boxes rental company agreed to actually deliver the boxes for free if my order was a big one. Luckily I needed around 60 boxes, big and small. The day the guy from the company delivered the boxes I was happy to see the boxes were in good condition and looked new. I used the boxes for moving and it helped me well. Overall the free delivery aspect made me like the company. I will consider them for any future moving plans I may have.

Living way out in Mornington I was looking to get some boxes for my eventual move closer to the city because of change in employment. They were ready to supply cardboard boxes till the lady on the phone mentioned they have reusable boxes that I could just rent for a specific period of my choosing. Additionally, the lady said the company will deliver the boxes and later pick the boxes up at the end of the rental period, That was a plus for me too. The boxes were anyways dropped off by a man who also showed me how to use the reusable boxes and the boxes didn't need any tape to close it . The boxes did work as mentioned by their office. I used the boxes well and the same man came to pickup the boxes. Do note they take a deposit to care for the boxes as if the boxes were damaged by me I had to buy the whole box. I made sure to keep it maintained and got my deposit returned at the end. Overall the experience was pleasant and convenient for me. Would recommend their boxes for the price and service they gave.

Being a new houseowner I was checking for an effective way to just get my items moved from my last rental house. I had bought quite a number of dresses, books, kitchenware, cooking utensils and other items that I didn't want to throw away without a good reason. For instance I had a carbon steel wok that I couldn't get rid of as Chinese cooking wok gets more effective with constant use and is typically more expensive. Anyways I was looking for boxes that I can use to pack all the items and my friend suggested getting the reusable boxes on rent as it's stronger and more flexible than standard single use ones. That's how I found box rental company with me placing an order for 35 boxes, medium and large in sizes. I also wanted tall boxes to pack my clothes and they provided that too with bars to hang the clothes if needed. I could see the boxes are reusable indeed and was delighted to use them. Overall I give kudos for the convenience I had with this company through their boxes and their overall delivery. I will indeed recommend their service for anyone.

We pointed out that there were many explanations for the expected number of boxes not being there, including the incorrect number having been delivered. No reply. A good idea spoiled by poor customer relations. Not recommended.

This is a good concept, let down by the business practices of the new owner. When we returned the boxes, they were in the same condition as we received them and were perfectly serviceable. The company then took almost one month to look at the boxes, determine that several of them were “damaged beyond use” and deny us much of our deposit. Given the way this company operates, this service is actually very expensive for what you get. Buyer beware.

Worst customer service ever! The company doesn't deliver all the boxes ordered, and when it's queried with them, they don't bother taking the time to check their delivery processes. Merely say they take no liability and pretty much tough luck. I would not r commend this company at all! What started as a great enviro friendly concept is badly executed with the poor service and zero customer focus. Be very careful of their poor process that leads to not delivery the whole order and then claiming it was all delivered! Zero stars! But unfortunately had to put in one star to post!

1 star is far too generous! Would not recommend this company at all, they are THIEVES! After I hired many boxes and they were picked up, checked and accounted for in front of me, they withheld $36 from my deposit for a box that was apparently damaged and one that was apparently missing. I asked for photographic evidence of the damaged box that they couldn't provide. This is bad service and I have told many colleagues in my office of 500 and family and friends about this lying, thieving company. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement.

Only tiny niggly thing I would say is that the handle on the porta-robes really cut into your hand when fully loaded with clothes. just needs a tiny design weak but that's all. I'm really happy that I decided to use The Box Rental Company. I have moved house so many times in the last few years, and always tried to save money by sourcing second-hand boxes, but that was a lot of hassle and often the boxes were in poor condition, then of course I had to get rid of them after the move. The Box Rental Company ended up being about the same cost as buying second-hand cardboard boxes, but SO MUCH EASIER! The fact that the boxes were delivered to me (in just a 2 hour time slot so I could still drop my daughter off at Kinder first), and I knew they were going to be collected, took a lot of pressure off me. And the boxes were extremely easy to use, very strong, and the labels provided made things very simple. A really well thought out system. And great, friendly, helpful customer service too. Anything that takes the hassle out of moving house, protects the environment, and doesn't cost too much has to be a good thing!

We were so happy to find this product when we came to move a few weeks ago. The service is fantastic - sturdy, easy-to-use boxes delivered to your door, and collected when you've finished with them! No more cardboard boxes to tape up, then fold down and store or get rid of. It was definitely the easiest aspect of our move. The whole process what great - Vince's communication was thorough and helpful throughout. He even provided labels for our boxes. We got the 3-4 bedroom package which definitely covered our needs. The cost is also comparable (and slightly better) than going the traditional cardboard option.
