WOW!!! Called Affordable Skylights as we had a very dark kitchen and family room. Chis came out within a couple of days to inform us of the product, installation process and quote. He was prompt, courteous and very confident in his product. We were given an installation time and they delivered earlier than the date given. The skylight was installed and delivered exactly what was explained to us during the quote time. The installation was fast, clean and service superior. Barely knew he was cutting a hole in our ceiling and in and on our roof. It was installed on a dark gloomy Mornington day but the light that came in was unbelievable. No light required to be on. I can see this is definitely going to make a difference to our electricity bill as we required lights to be on on the kitchen and family room aĺl the time during the day to be able to see. If you are thinking about Skylights, don't look beyond Affordable Skylights. (We did get quotes from other companies) they were Affordable and delivered what they promised. Extremely impressed .

Chris put 3 tubular skylights in my kitchen, bathroom and ensuite today and now I’m asking myself why didn’t I do it years ago? I keep going to turn the light off which of course isn’t on. I think I’ll be getting another one in the laundry.Thanks Chris for a great job and you even made sure my dog stayed inside whenever you had to go out to your van. Ps now I can see dirty marks on the floor which I couldn’t see before. LOL

Because in my kitchen I had a solar tube which I thought was pathetic as I had had an affordable skylite once before, so I got them to come out and change it and also put one in a study and an ensuite and they are great and a lot cheaper in price as well. So don't bother looking else where.

Chris promised that we will not be disappointed after installing two skylights on our hallway and it was!!!. Chris was fantastic, very professional, inspected our roof and advised where the skylights would be placed. Installation took approximately 2 hrs for 2 skylights on our hallway. Our hallway turned from dark to extremely bright and the difference was amazing. The quality of skylight from Chris is amazing. It makes a huge difference to the bathroom. The quote/account was most acceptable and very competitive. I could not believe the service either, ordered one day and installed the next. Very happy.

Chris was fantastic, he was professional and spent time explaining the different skylights, inspected our roof and advised where the skylights would best be placed. Installation took approximately just over 2 hours for 2 skylights one in the hallway and one in the kitchen. The difference was amazing, my hallway went from pitch black to extremely bright and I no longer turn on my kitchen light during the day. I wished I had gotten it done earlier. Thanks Chris on the fantastic job and you're right on hot days the house has remained the same with the excellent energy rating on the skylights. Not many companies sell the solar bright maxlights in Melbourne and he was the best priced. I'd recommend Chris anytime.

We've been looking to have skylights for years but have always been put off by the cost (of SolarTube). So after finding the alternative offered by this company, and the fact it is actually made in Australia, we contacted Chris for more information. Chris knows his products inside and out, and answered every question I had, and spent time on the phone going over all aspects. We went ahead and had 3 installed, 2 large in the kitchen/meals and 1 small in the hallway. We are extremely happy with the result and how Chris installed them. Fantastic friendly service and in just over an hour my kitchen has been transformed with beautiful natural light. Far exceeded my expectations. ## Just had my second skylight put in and I am thrilled on the effect it has had again. To keep my lounge cool in summer I keep all the roller shutters down however feels like living in cave. Now with this skylight I am still cool but have a wonderful light atmosphere in the room. SECOND time round same great service very happy.

My wife and I recently moved into a 3 bedroom unit to downsize, the kitchen living area was way to dark we had to have lights on all the time. I had my skylight installed a few weeks ago. The difference it's made in my kitchen is amazing. Previously i had the light switched on all day but even on a miserable day like today i haven't had the light on at all. Chris came out to quote me he was professional and very helpful and friendly. We couldn't be happier with Chris from Affordable Solar Solutions & Skylights work & products. He had no problems with us coming to his house to (check out) look at the different skying lights we had to choose from. More importantly the skylights he showed us through out his house are In similar situations we needed light in rooms. So we could really see the difference before we had the skylights installed. We had one put down the dark hallway & one put in the kitchen. We can now say "we finely see the light" as they say. We will defiantly use Chris again. Today I had a MaxLight skylight installed in my hallway by Affordable Solar Solutions. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Glad I took up Chris's suggestion of installing the 400mm instead of 250mm, to enable natural light to flood the 6.4m x 1.3m hallway from one end to the other. Our recently renovated bathroom was dark during the day due to an error on our behalf in planning, i decided to get several quotes for skylights in the bathroom, hallway & ensuite . Chris was really thorough explaining the quality of his product, his price was affordable and his service impeccable. Chris was even honest enough to tell us to wait on the ensuite due to a upcoming reno in there and said he will return for that one when we are ready. I keep going to turn the light off in the bathroom but it is not on it is due to the fantastic light the skylight has provided.

I called Chris because of all the positive reviews on Womo and I wasn't disappointed. He came within a week to give me a quote and I felt that he was really honest about his product and what it could do. The best thing was that he could instal it that very day although I wasn't quite ready. So instead, he installed it the next day in 1.5 hours! Incredible. Our kitchen was really dark before and for some of the day, it is shadowed by the 2nd storey. Chris did well to indicate how well he thought the skylight would work in the position it was in. So whilst it's not super bright the whole day, the solar bright skylight still pulls in quite a fair bit of light. So much so I no longer have to switch my light on any more. Before, I always had to have the lights on whenever I'm in the kitchen. And when there's direct sunlight, the kitchen is just a lovely place to be in. Highly recommend contacting Chris if you're interested in getting a skylight.

Skylight installation in my dark kitchen was done on the day Chris came to give me a quote. He did the job speedily with minimum mess. The result is brilliant - literally. My kitchen was always dark as there is no internal window - now it's brighter than when I had the light on. He did such a good job and the quality is great - so he is coming back next week to put one in my sitting room. The need for a skylight was urgent as my overhead light had died I contacted Affordable Skylights at 11 am on Saturday - by 3 PM Monday the job was finished. A big thank you.

I was looking to get a skylight installed in my kitchen as very little natural light gets in. I found Affordable skylights on womo. I made a call and the quote process was very easy. Chris shared a lot of info on the phone. He followed up 2 days later and I went with the quote. Price was reasonable and Chris came out when he said he would. There were a few challenges in installing it due to some obstacles in the ceiling cavity, but Chris was very patient and worked his way around them. The skylight has made a great improvement in my kitchen. The mrs is already planning where to put the next one. I highly recommend Chris if you are looking for a skylight.

We had a skylight fitted to our kitchen ceiling. The kitchen is in the centre of the house with no windows directly so it was always very dark. The skylight has made such a difference. beautiful filtered light throughout the room. Chris did a fantastic job and always explained every step. Cannot fault his workmanship. I am a home handyman myself so I am fairly fussy. I would not hesitate to recommend his business to anybody in need of a skylight

I was introduced to his product accidently without knowing anything about it. Christ spent 30-45 minutes on the phone and on the internet to try to explain clearly to me for the solid tunnel skylight. What does this show? It shows his excellent customer service which is unbelievable to me. Not only he knows his product (SolarBright) very well but also he knows competitor product in every aspect. Every question which I asked in term of comparisons, he could answer straight away. At the end he did not push me to buy his product at all. He asked me to go to the competitor company to have a look and compare to his product. It made me really impressed how he respects the customer. To be concluded, he is a true guru in the skylight. He has his valuable knowledge, experience and excellent customer service mind and manner. If you ask me to be one of his customers, I would recommend â€œJUST DO ITâ€.
