I found the course really engaging and relevant. Kellie's practical experience meant she was a great teacher and had great stories to tell. We all got to practice CRP- something I hope I don't have to ever do, but would now feel totally comfortable. Course notes we were given to take home will continue to be a great resource as my baby grows and no doubt tests my first aid skills!!! I recommend this course!

I recently attended a session of Keli's with a group of friends. Not only did we all learn plenty of skills that will help us all in parenthood, but Keli was very personable and reassuring and the course was interesting and interactive. I highly recommend Keli if you would like to understand the basics of first aid for babies and children!

I asked Keli, from New Generation First Aid to facilitate a course for my mothers group in Yarraville. We chose to do the 4 hours course as we felt it would provide us with all the training and information we might need. The course structure was laid out in a considered manor that allowed for questions and discussions throughout, this created a more informal and comfortable session. The content of the course was informative, realistic and communicated in a way that was easy to understand and remember. Throughout I appreciated Keli's calm and reassuring manner. I would highly recommend this course to any new mum or mums who just need a refresher. It is great to feel confident about something so important.

Really good, very much enjoyed the session. Nice environment to bring your child and not feel like a little cry would interrupt. Instructors had plenty of time for each participant. Would recommend.

Keli presented a good session on basic first aid aimed at, but not exclusive to, parents/carers of young children under 1. I thought her style was excellent, and I enjoyed the session. I also liked the booklet handed out at the end of the session. Our 'Essentials' covered breathing problems, febrile convulsions, CPR, burns and choking. Keli was a calm and relaxed presenter, happy to answer any questions, regardless of what they were. It was also very helpful that parents were welcome to bring along their children if they needed to, as sometimes finding babysitters can be tricky. We didn't find it hard to concentrate or anything like that, as everyone was very considerate and temporarily left or walked around if their child needed a bit of calming. We will definitely be looking for the second half of the course with New Generation, in order to complete our first aid training for home.

Well organised, accessibile and friendly. I liked that there was also a practical side of it. The presenter was engaging and well prepared. I would recommend it to all first parents.

Very, very good. Informative, professional and reassuring. The only down side is that the takeaway course notes don't include the preventative measures regarding burns as discussed. That would have been invaluable. Overall though, it was a superb course and I would thoroughly recommend it

New Generation First Aid were easily contactable and flexible to organise a time and place that suited us both. The morning of the workshop was AMAZING! Very relaxed, informative and great value for money. We may never know the true value of this course, until we find ourselves in a situation where suddenly all of this knowledge is needed.

I did this course with my mothers group and our partners, and I would highly recommend it. The course was perfect for new parents. It was very practical, and hands on. There was just the right amount of information - enough to feel prepared, but not so much that you have no hope of actually remembering what to do in a stressful situation. Instead of "teaching to a curriculum" to get a certificate at the end, the course tells you what you'll actually need to do and, importantly, what you'll remember to do. It is delivered in a really digestible and dynamic way - it just felt like a friend having a chat, not like a boring lecture. Peta was also really easy to deal with to organise the course, and it was great to be able to split the four hours of content over two sessions (for no extra cost) to avoid information overload of doing it all in one go.

We were recommended to use New Generation First Aid to train our mothers group and it was a very educative, flexible and financially reasonable service. Thanks to Keli for her enthusiasm and prompt communication.

Peta is an excellent presenter and I left the course feeling well informed rather than overwhelmed, which can be case with these types of things. Practical advice, and the course notes look good too. Hopefully I'll never need to use any of it, but I'm glad I attended. I will recommend the course to friends and mothers group.

Awesome practical information for new parents - Keli is so knowledgeable and knows exactly the information new parents need to know. I would recommend this course to any new (or seasoned) parent and am so glad we enrolled. I really appreciate the time taken for Keli to talk us through so much information - i think the price of the course could be doubled for the amount of information we have taken away. thank you!

Peta, the facilitator was fantastic. The course covered the basics in a very practical way, with realistic scenarios and a straightforward approach. Excellent. I feel much more confident in my ability to either prevent accidents, or manage emergency situations with my baby. Thank you!

New Generation First Aid is run by two paramedics and they offer first aid courses specifically relating to children and babies. We got 6 interested people together and arranged for Keli to come to our home. She was a very good teacher with a friendly manner. We did a four hour course which was very informative and covered all the major illnesses and accidents that can happen to babies and children and how to deal with them including choking, burns, falls, poisoning, CPR and allergies to name a few. Would highly recommend to anyone who has regular contact with children, even those who have brought up children before as the advice on how to treat many things (such as fever) has changed in the last 10-15 years.
