Was needing to update my resume after 4 year's and found andrea's service's and instantly saw the 5-star reviews . So glad i had her to help me . She took my generic cover letter and resume and transformed it to a truly professional looking document of which i am proud of .... as for customer service .......Absouloutly faultless ....never once was she annoyed or angry to hear me call her ...even over the most minor oversight's , a true team player .. Feeling pretty daunted by applying for a job that I was not sure I would have the skills for, Andrea has performed her magic and made me see the light. My resume has been transformed and in addressing the selection criteria I realise that in fact I do have the skills for the job. This wouldn't of happened without Andrea's excellent skills in communication, asking the right questions, writing skills and her ability to make you think about your attributes and things you do on a day to day basis that you don't recognise as special skills. I highly recommend Andrea and would definitely secure her skills again.

Early 2016 I found myself unemployed, not through choice. I thought no problem with my background and experience I will be back in the workforce in no time. i applied for numerous roles some well within my field others I was probably a bit over qualified for. I had little or no response. I was using a resume generated on one of the many generic sites available on line, it wasn't working. Reading through a local paper I found an advert for professional resume writer, I contacted Andrea and made a time to meet up. Andrea just asked me to bring what I had in the way of work history and references etc. I gathered the information I had and met Andrea as arranged, we sat and chatted and all the time Andrea was taking notes and asking many questions. I felt at ease when talking with Andrea she had a way of opening you up and obviously gathering the information required to write a resume for me. We spent approximately an hour talking and chatting away I felt as if I had known Andrea for a lot longer, I found her very easy to talk to not just a stranger to whom you are giving your life story. When we had finished our session Andrea said I will have the draft ready and emailed to you in two days, well Andrea stood to her word and the document arrived, with a couple of minor changes the final draft was sent to me and approved. I started using the new resume and within a week I had arranged three appointments for job interviews, Iwas accepted in a role that was my preferred choice and have been happy and back at work ever since. I would like to thank you Andrea for the effort you put in to help create a document that i could not have produced by myself, your professional but also friendly manner is very hard to find in people, but you certainly have the way of bringing out the best in people and wording it so well on paper. I would recommend Andrea to any one who requires a resume or cover letter it certainly worked for me and I have no doubt it would work for others. Daniel Smitham

Andrea did my resume about 10 years ago and have just had her update it. Andrea's attention to detail is excellent and am extremely pleased with her work once again and who keeps you updated in the process. Highly recommended if you want a professional resume for any prospective employer.

I contacted Andrea having been out of the workforce for a number of years due to chronic health issues. As a result of this extended absence, I felt quite apprehensive about "reinvigorating" my resume and re-entering the job market. I admit, writing a resume is daunting. Good thing I found Andrea! How she could so precisely and positively describe my skills and personality, I could not fathom -- but she really is the bomb! I never thought someone could describe my personality precisely on a piece of paper and present my strength so well until I received my CV & Cover Letter from Andrea!! She made my CV sooo attractive, but that's STILL ME! I want to hire "myself" when I read them! And, I've been receiving calls from recruitment agencies. From the moment I made my initial inquiry I felt a connection with Andrea as she was warm and professional at the same time. I contacted Andrea in order to update my CV, get a cover letter and selection criteria addressed for a particular job I was looking at. Being new to the Australian job market I did not know where to start or what it was that would grab the attention of potential employers. Right from the outset Andrea was in regular contact to get the information that she needed which I greatly appreciated, especially after having dealt with other companies who either took days upon days to respond or didn't bother responding at all! Andrea was fantastic! After coming home from hospital after my second brain operation I discovered that a job I had been waiting for had been advertised. I had to apply within 2 weeks, I need 4 key selection criteria. I could see no way I could this in the time, while still recovering. Andrea was amazing, with an hour of my first email she was at work. And had it completed with a week, plus also was lovely enough to look over my Resume and critique it for me. I have recently made the very difficult decision to leave the organisation I work for and seek my future elsewhere. There were two opportunities of interest to me and when I looked at my current resume I realised how completely archaic it was. I didn't know where to start to create something that was a truer reflection of who I really am, what I have to offer and something eye catching enough to gain me an interview (especially given the current challenging job market). Hi Andrea, I would just like to thank you for the fantastic job that you did on my selection criteria. You were so professional, comfortable to talk to and extremely prompt in your responses. This was especially a touching experience for me as my son and I feel sick unexpectedly and were admitted into hospital. With the short time frame that I already gave you, you still offered to help me further by offering to even submit my application for me knowing what a situation I was in with no internet access (as I was bed ridden). I just want to say that this really touched me as to what a not only wonderful and caring person you are, but also what a fantastic job that you did for me from the very first point of contact over the phone. Whenever I called you, your phone was answered straight away and no matter what time it was you seemed to jump to help me with what ever I needed for my application (which eased my mind greatly). I will definitely recommend you to any family member or friend who needs help with or tidying up on their criterion, resume or whole application over all. Words cant express how much it meant to me that you were the person I chose to do my resume and no one else, especially with the unfortunate situation that was on hand!!

Andrea gave my very out of date resume a true make over - modern layout and re wrote it in a way I couldn't possibly have done myself. Finding yourself at the career crossroads can be an overwhelming experience. I was floundering until I found Andrea. I rang many companies prior to Impressive Resumes but it was Andrea answered the phone and spoke to me and it was she who helped me on my way to a new career. I found Andrea professional and at times a wonderful mentor, which I was not expecting but that was a welcomed surprise. Here is a person who is in business but that also really does care and seems driven in her goal to illustrate who and what people are and can do using words and the framework that is a CV, including Selection Criteria.
