Transporting my car from the Gold Coast all the way up to Kununurra was made so easy with the help from National Car Movers. From comparing quotes with other transport companies to delivery, National Car Movers was there to answer questions and concerns. Very professional and friendly customer service, always courteous and helpful. I especially loved receiving links showing my cars journey and despite the length of time it took for the car to arrive (7 weeks via sea and road) it was worth seeing my car in the end because it was in undamaged condition. I will feel confident using this company again when I return to the Gold Coast.

They are the cheapest for good reason. Car arrived with cracked windscreen that I had to pay $400 to get repaired. National Car Movers response was this is not covered under their policy as it is an 'act of God'. Have used Ceva & Prix Car with no problems & all damage is covered. I will never use National Car Movers again!!

I am happy with the service this company provided. Although I was a bit annoyed at a couple of days delay than I expected. By the time I got my car I was quite satisfied. One lesson I learned was to book a few days earlier than you expected, give a bit room for delay which may not be anyone’s intention. They provided very competitive price and finished transporting my car without issues. Talking to them on the phone was easy. The ladies were nice and patient with me. My car was transported from Gold Coast to Sydney. I booked dropping off and picking up at depot. It was very convenient and easy travel both places. I didn’t have to wait at home for pick up and delivery. It also helps save money. Thank you very much.

Book Direct- This company is a call centre only, they DO NOT move cars and charge you a premium to make the phone calls and bookings for you with the cheapest possible carriers they can find and when the customer finds their service unsatisfactory they promise to make calls only and you cannot deal direct for complaints with the cheap carriers they use. I gave them 5 stars for their amazingly slick website and ability to fool me into thinking I had booked with a top notch transport company. For my booking I used their Fastest option which was 6-10 business days, turns out when they selected the carrier they chose his slower option which is 7-10 business days and the staff member at the cheap transport company explained to me that because you are on the slower service will be minimum 10 business days because the express service gets priority and can’t guarantee times, only ever 7 days if no one using express and only 6 other cars waiting to go which is NEVER. Moral of the story is prepare for at least TWO BUSINESS weeks (14 days) mine took 20 days from drop off at Perth Depot to Pickup at Sydney depot. When I researched the service that NCM booked for me, I could walk in and pay $900 for that transport and NCM charged me $1300, I could have walked in and paid $1100 at the time with the cheap carrier and they would have guaranteed me a 6 day window. When I brought this up with NCM’s call centre manager Robert he said “Where are you getting these prices” “We didn’t pay that”… of course they didn’t because they have regular dealings with this carrier, doubt they paid more than $600. To add insult to the poor customer service, I asked for compensation for the ordeal of not being able to use the car for the additional time it sat in the sun at Welshpool and the fact it was missing when needed in my time in Sydney and Robert’s response was “ If I can get reimbursement from the carrier I’ll see if I can pass that on to you” . This was over 1 week ago and notwithstanding the fact they already made minimum $400 profit from the booking and have a contract with me, their mistakes going cheap is not my responsibility!. They will dodge any responsibility and offer extremely poor terms and conditions including exorbitant cancellation fees even if car is never dropped off to carrier. Avoid avoid avoid is all I can say. Oh and don’t take my word for it, just click on the 1 star reviews and you will see dozens of similar stories because this company is all about profit margins and not customer service. Oh and before I get the generic reply from management gets posted saying “Sorry we couldn’t find your booking, can you please get in contact” it’s C2151836. Now I’ll get the reply “ Sorry your car arrived on the 20th which was a Sunday and according to our records it should have arrived at the latest on the 15th so all in all 3 business days late” Anyway please don’t make my mistake, research actual carriers, call their numbers first , ask for their warranty coverage and confirm they are a carrier and not a booking service.

I was given a range of dates my car might be delivered within. I was kept up to date with progress, and it was delivered in good condition at the earliest of the possible dates. This was 28 days faster than the fastest option another car mover company I'd looked at had given me. The other company was good. I've used them before. However this company is better, and at near enough the same price, I was saving money because there was no need for me to rent a car for a longer period. Good, friendly service, efficient, nothing to worry about. I'll use National Car Movers again if I need to transport my car.

The vehicle was delivered quickly ... within two days Cairns to Brisbane! They washed it before bringing it out to the carport. Getting a quote, accepting it, making payment, getting receipt etc was simple without heaps of emails, and that's if storage charges etc Staff at pickup point were friendly and competent.

I can't say enough about our experience with National Car Movers. They were very reasonable in their fees compared to other car movers' company. The car was dispatched in 24hrs after dropping it off at the pick location and I am very impressed that it was delivered promptly to Melbourne and quicker than it was anticipated. My daughter went to collect her car, she was happy with the service. It was no problem to organise a day & time, her car was in good condition all items accounted for and staff was from beginning to end was professional and supportive through the whole journey. OK...the car was delayed considerably, but this was during the Qld COVID peak and many transport drivers were furloughed as close contacts. It was frustrating. However Rob - the office manager - was flexible and even part refunded the fee when I wanted to pick up the car in Darwin rather than wait for another transfer to the regional town. Can't recommend them enough (and no I'm not getting paid for this!). Good customer service is rare.

Mine had lots of black small dirt particles and insect poo on the front spoiler and roof. This I think would enhance the Experience for any Customer on receiving their New Pride and Joy. I was worried about handing my car over to people I didn't know and then hoping it arrived in a totally different state. But it did. It arrived way earlier than I thought it would. It arrived in the same condition it left in. Perhaps a little dirtier but that was expected seeming as it went on a truck and then was driven a thousand miles. The service was great and everything I loaded inside it arrived exactly as left.

But never informed the dealership they were coming to pick it up. Seems to be a means of quoting and then asking for additional fees.

I have asked 2 companies for quotes, only Trade Car responded. They then followed up via email twice. I could not find my location on their website so I phoned them. The staff member was very friendly and we had it all sorted in a few minutes. A revised quote was provided which I accepted after which I was kept informed via email of when the car will be picked up. You have to send an email to track your vehicle, bit weird, but it works. I received emails of when it would arrive. I was phoned by the truck driver well in advance to arrange delivery. He arrived on time.

This is the 2nd review I have written about this company as the 1st was not published by WOMO I think its important to let people know about this shoddy business before they entrust their valuable possessions to them, because they will not respect them. I transported my car with this company from Cairns to Gold Coast. When I came to pick the car up, I was shocked to see the condition they presented it in. The car was totally covered in a thick grime that you couldn't see the paint or the windows. There was no hose to was the grime from windows, so had to go and get a kettle from their office to wash windows so I could drive home. Upon further inspection found that side mirror was smashed and totally destroyed and door was hit and now cant be locked. I mentioned it to the manager and he showed a a total lack of interest and said he would email a complaint form so I could claim. After 3 days of nothing, I called the office and was abruptly given an address which was wrong, so back on the phone again and was again reluctantly given an address to lodge my complaint. Sent them an email and the answer was that I had damaged the car and was trying to exploit them and told to go away as no Insurance would be paid. I have proof from the check list that they do when you drop off your vehicle, that this damage was not there when the car presented to them. They conveniently overlook this. I will be taking this matter further. If WOMO publishes this letter, I will keep you informed.

I was advised to try TradeCar by Prixcar as my Cadillac was too long for them. I'm absolutely delighted with the excellence of their service. I'm currently in NZ and via email and mobile phone arranged and accepted their quote (Ballarat to Adelaide) - booked the pickup for last Monday, and their contractor Northern Victoria Car Transporters delivered it in perfect condition to my storage facility in Adelaide a short time ago. Very well done to all concerned and I'll be calling them should I require another car transported.

I've never written a review in my life but I think it's important people be warned of this company. My vehicle went missing with this company for over 5 weeks! We dropped it off at designated address in edmonton cairns to be transported to melbourne. Nobody was there we rang and were told to leave car on side of road a put keys in letter box! Was told it would take 9 to 14 days to get to melbourne. 2 weeks on and it still hadn't left cairns. Upon ringing was told to contact tracking by email! It finally got into Brisbane where it sat for another couple of weeks. At no stage were they helpful but just kept referring me to email tracking team. 5 weeks later it arrived at their melbourne depot but no one rang or emailed me to let me know. When I emailed tracking team asking where my car was they were like oh yeah it's arrived come and get it. So I enail back that I paid extra money to have it delivered ! So then had to wait extra day for that as well. I was stuck at my parents house for 5 weeks waiting for my car with 4 young children. We missed our ferry to tassie and the kids missed out on their Summer holiday. This company is the worst. They are not a real transport company. They sub contract the job out to other companies and take no responsibility for what happens. They told me I will get no refund as a service was provided . Also the moron who delivered my car left the lights on and flattened my battery. Don't know what happened to my car while Missing In Action but had to get a brand new battery when my other one was only 3 months old. I dropped that vehicle off with full tank and came back empty. What did they do drive it down ? They should be stripped of their ABN and not allowed to operate.

ATTENTION THE MANAGER, TRADE CAR TRANSPORT. MELBOURNE. Dear Sir, Recently I engaged Trade Car Transport to carry a vehicle from Geelong to Bowral. This was a new experience for myself, having never transported a vehicle interstate. To add to 'new experiences', I was also moving my disabled 90 year old Mother who suffers from a severe stroke and brain tumour to New South Wales, as well as packing up her farm property of 60 years ! It was an emotional time for all. The ageing vehicle you were transporting belonged to my recently deceased Father, and had great sentimental value to our Mum. I needed the whole process of car transportation to go smoothly.. and it did. I would like to take the time to compliment you on a most satisfactory service from the minute I requested a quote until the delivery of my vehicle off the transport carrier at Marulan. I am aware of the bad press some of the transport companies suffer at the hands of the general public and media at times, and of the little acknowledgement recognised for 'a job well done' in the transport industry as one rarely reads of a good professional group that offer exemplary service - but TCT tick all of the right boxes', and more. Whilst moving cars might 'all be in a days work' for your company, clearly your expectations from your staff and the service you offer to your customers are paramount and run to the highest levels. But, my main compliments go to your driver, Alan. From the day of loading our vehicle, Alan who by the way initially rang and introduced himself as the driver of the carrier, impressed us as a true professional. He assured us he would keep in contact with us at regular intervals throughout the trip, and he did. I had explained I would have to engage a carer to look after my mother whilst I left the house to collect the car ( a cost of around $130.00 an hour) and that I would have to educate myself and my driver ( also a Victorian !) as to where the heck 'Marulan' was in the dark of night.. but he took our dilemma all in his stride, gave easy directions and assured us that he would do his best to run to time in order to keep our costs down etc. This additional courtesy from Alan may seem a little ho-hum to most but as the collection of the car was going to take around about 3 hours, I had to make sure the carer we engaged understood the time frame we would be away from the house. All went to plan and our arrival at Marulan saw the vehicle unloaded and ready to go and the carrier getting ready to push on to Brisbane. Additionally, Alan took the time to phone us the following day to check all was well with the vehicle. As a Director of Nursing for over 30 years, I understand the ethos of business, the value of good professional staff and just how far considerations and courtesy go when doing things for others. I would like to offer my thanks to both yourself and of course Alan in assisting us with our vehicle transfer and in making the transition of what seemed almost insurmountable at one stage (to me) possible with the minimum of fuss. Communication was shocking and customer service is almost non-existent. Please save yourself the trouble and use a better company. I will NEVER use Trade Car Transport again and will never recommend them to anyone I know. Now 3 months later I am still waiting on a refund of a few hundred dollars because I had to drive 200km to pick the car up from the nearest depot. Very unprofessional and if they remain like this i cant imagine them being in business much longer.

My family moved from Brisbane to Melbourne and Trade Car Transported moved four cars for us. From the very start the customer service were friendly and their follow ups to our enquiries were professional. Prices were very good and it suited our tight budget and moving four cars they gave us a package deal at even a lesser price which my wife was very very happy with. All cars arrived at Melbourne within the time frame that the customer service centre told us and were not damaged. We were not able to collect all four cars at the one time and Trade Car Transport were very flexible with us collecting over a number of days. I would freely recommend for anyone to transport their vehicles with Trade Car Transport and as we moved four in one go, any fleet organisation will be very impressed with the service they would receive. My family relocated from Cairns to Perth the other week and transport three vehicles. Throughout the whole experience, the sales people were amazing and very informative and when I had a lot of questions to tick off my list. After I confirmed the bookings, I received further information from their operations section advising me of who to contact so I and my family could track our vehicles at all times. The times that we were told were only estimated times, two of our vehicles arrived one day early that the expected date and the third vehicle was only two days delayed for whatever reason, I had no need to ask as the service provided was awesome. THANK YOU TRADE CAR TRANSPORT - I WILL BE RECOMMENDING YOU TO ALL OF OUR DEFENCE FORCE COLLEAGUES TRANSFERRING AROUND AUSTRALIA. Thanks Fiona Harriss

I am surprised by the comments on this website about Trade Car Transport. I was put on to them by a friend who moved two cars from Sydney to Perth and they thought they were very good. I moved two 4x4's with them, a Mitsubishi Pajero and a Toyota Hilux, initially we had to re-quote as the Pajero had a longer length then was allowed on the truck but they organised it for me easily and the vehicles both arrived earlier than they stated. Everytime I rang them, or emailed them - they were so easy to communicate with and didn't mind that I had small questions which they probably have to answer 200 times a day. The vehicles all arrived undamaged - which would probably not have been the case if I drove the cars myself! I am in the process of booking my third car with them and they are even allowing me to take some of our belongings in the car at only a few dollars extra. I guess only negative things get put on reviews or the internet but I can't find fault with them.

Beware of Tradecartransport! Booked a car to be transported from Queensland to Melbourne and they lost my car. Yes, a whole car. Not only did it go missing, but I was the one who had to point out the error to them. When I complained in writing, I received a response which deflected any blame, omitted to apologise (or even empathise with me!) and I still wasn't given an eta on when my car would be delivered. TCT have a whole page on their website bragging about their customer service - well, this customer ain't impressed.
