Absolutely first class from first email through to job completion. I’m a highly critical customer but there is nothing whatsoever for me to suggest could have or should have been done better. The team of five arborists were magical to watch - incredible team work. And they kept working beyond a really intensive 8 hours to get the job finished to a very high standard right down to the last branch. It was also quite inspiring to see the way they are obviously training their youngest team member and gave him instructions and time on the tools. This is what customer service was like in the good old days. I recommend TreeFX without reservation

Was told on first inspection that customers could keep mulch from cut tree parts which is why I went with the company. On the day they said that they were unable to access my driveway/front yard and they took the mulch with them. This could have been avoided if they would have inspected the place properly. They did what they said they would do, site was a bit messy but I guess that's part of the job of moving large branches around. Communication on the day via sms was good.

TreeFX was professional at every step in its service to remove a large dead gum tree amongst a number of plants that had just got going. The work was completed with no interruption to neighbours in the adjoining court. The place was well cleaned afterwards. It was a no-surprise operation that took one and a half days. And it was the lowest quote I received for the work.

We are a development of 27 townhouses and the scope of works was quite extensive. We needed a large eucalyptus tree and a decent number of small trees removed in addition to some formative pruning. Dean and Caryn was great to deal with for the quote and arranging the time after contracting them for the job. Then, not only was Dave and his team on time, they were incredibly accommodating and very friendly to deal with. We could not have been happier, with their work and professional approach. Price was reasonable, everything done on time and great clean up afterwards. We found the Tree FX group to be a very professional in all aspects of tree maintenance. Dean, who quoted first was extremely helpful with his advice and even gave us a free lesson in pruning the Crepe Myrtle! The men who came to do the job were polite, obliging and a friendly team who obviously enjoyed their work. The work was completed to our satisfaction along with the final clean up. They paid particular attention to our requests and were mindful of not causing damage to our garden. Like many others we would use their services again and highly recommend them.

Yesterday Tree FX came to our house and removed an old, dying Alder tree, including stump grinding. This was a big job which the guys did in a methodical, safe and totally professional way. They took great care of our garden in the process and cleaned up afterwards. They're a friendly bunch too. Our second experience of having the Tree FX team in was just as good as the first - excellent. They do exactly what they quote on, and do it perfectly. In this case they brought down a tree which had become dangerous following a recent storm. It was hanging over my neighbour's property, and they lowered it without having to access their property!! The rest of the work was general maintenance. Thanks team. I highly recommend your work and will come back to you when the next lot of work is required.

I recently had a crew from Tree FX to sort three of our trees. From booking with Suzy, Dean quoting and knowing exactly what we should do for each tree, to the Star Crew that arrived on the day, all staff were very competent, friendly and professional. Tree FX have been before and I was impressed by their knowledge how to help me preserve my trees, and tips for management, they do much more than remove trees. Price is always very reasonable, they are highly trained to operate safely, left me some lovely mulch and tidied up, all good! This is the second time TreeFX have pruned the ornamental pears on my property. I asked them back because I was so happy with their job first time round. Geert,Tracey the and boys arrived on time and were courteous and very friendly. They worked professionally to remove a large cyprus and completed many pruning and small tree removal jobs with ease. The Team have carried out an excellent job cutting down a. Troublesome Liquidambar. They were well co-ordinated and painstaking in removing top branches without causing problems to overhead wires, and i was impressed with how much thought went into the operation. Enough trunk was kept to create small bird habitat, which involved removing some bark, creating a hollow, replacing bark. I also had trees pruned, and was amazed at how quickly all was carried out, and the very reasonable costs! . Great communication in regards to getting a tree dropped including a call informing me they were 30mins away before they got to site. Never got to meet them as I was at work but came home to find the tree dropped and all foliage was placed in a neat pile and easy for me to deal with and thus was pleasantly surprised as that is not what I was expecting. Based on my experience with these guys I would highly recommend them.

I travelled to the Northern Territory leaving the TreeFx team to remove a tree on my property. On my return tree on the ground, blocked, debris raked up. Job done. The whole experience of dealing with the Tree FX team was a pleasure. The result is terrific. We now have two glorious gum trees which have been relieved of excess foliage and can move in the wind beautifully. The light that is coming into our home is beyond what we were hoping for. Good job! 3 on team, 6 hrs work. We're impressed. Cleared loads and reduced overlay of gum leaves and dodgy branches, two of which were interfering with neighbour's trees. We feel much more secure now and our solar panels have more sunlight.Cleaned up beautifully afterwards. My neighbour wants them now who has a huge gum tree at back of house.

After recent wind resulted in a huge limb off our tree falling and causing some damage to our neighbors property Tree FX where appointed by the insurance company to remove the limb. Gert and his team arrived at about 5.30 after what had obviously been a hard day of such work caused by the wind. Our straight forward job turned out to be a bit more trouble but despite it being late and the guys tired they remained proffession approuchable and completed the job without fuss. I cannot give adequate words to describe my experience with Treefx. This is a small business who gives their all to the service they provide. I had a small stump to be removed and the attention to detail was like it was a huge cypress tree. Everything down to the last five minutes where the workers rang to say they were not far away. When I arrived home from work, I found the area returned to "original " but no stump. The rocks I had moved were even put back in place!!! The charges are fantastic too. My friend has a huge gun tree and several stumps to be removed. Treefx quote was several hundreds of dollars better than others. Please give this small local company BIG support. They are a rarity.

19/12/2017. Having had TreeFX do work for me in the past, some time ago, I did not hesitate to get them to give me a quote to remove a tree and a few branches on another. I was very happy with the quote, having had friends tell me what level of quotes they had had from other tree removalists. We arranged a time and date and the young lads were there on the dot. They reconfirmed with me what the the job was and made sure I was happy with what was going to be done. They quickly began work keeping me informed of works progress and made sure I was happy with each step. These young guys, Alex, Jack and Spencer, were terrific. I am in my seventies . They were very engaging, respectful and polite. I offered them cold water during the day and they readily offered their appreciation. A rare thing in this day of customer service. They removed all the branches and debris. They then raked, blow vac'd and cleaned up. I was very impressed with the end result. My wife was also very impressed with job and the clean up. TreeFX is very lucky to have these young guys working for them. They are a great advertisement for themselves, as young men, and for the company. Living in Upwey, with two giant Mountain Grey Gums right next to the house, we were worried every time the wind picked-up - just one heavy branch falling would have caused massive damage. We got several quotes, and to be honest, I almost didn't bother getting one from Treefx as they seemed really professional, and therefore, I thought they would be the most expensive. As it turned out they gave the best quote and their service was incredible. I was literally in awe as I watched the guys climb the huge trees and bring them down without damaging the house, fence, or the garden. These guys are thoroughly professional. Recently I had a large Red Flowering Gum Tree situated in my suburban block struck by lightning. I contacted Tree FX where Dean and Matt attended on time as arranged. As I had concerns with the structural integrity of the tree and potential for it to fall on the house, Tree FX agreed to lop the tree as a priority. The team arrived on time and worked tirelessly removing the tree taking great care with the surrounding structures and in particular my house. Once the tree was all taken down, they cleaned up so no foliage or other rubbish was left at all. It was a great job done with professionalism, on time and very competitive rates. I would recommend them, as I have, to others. It is always worrying about tradies and their promises and skills especially dropping large trees near one's own home, but they did a great job. Tree FX took down a large limb off a eucalyptus near my house and removed a couple of small trees and ground out the stumps. All aspects of their service were excellent. Another great experience with the lovely Tree FX folk! This time is was weed trees, I had not reaised how prolific (and suffocating) they had become in my back garden. They also removed a dangerous tree that was leaning on the garage and trimmed down the large Liquid Amber in the front yard - the gents worked hard fro 8am - 3pm and left the whole place neat and tidy :) They were very respectful of e and consultated me throughout the day to be sure we were all o the same page. The team from Tree FX were very professional in undertaking their task in cutting my lillypilly on the blind side of our house. The team arrived as scheduled and kept the place clean, neat and tidy at the completion of the job. Dean came out and inspected our house. We got a quote for the work within a day and the team came out that week. They did a brilliant job despite our dog trying to put them off. They even took out the branches my wife didn't think needed to be removed and even she admits it looks even better now. The price originally quoted was around half of their competitors, so I was initially a bit skeptical that they had under-quoted or didn't allow for what I actually wanted done, as I wasn't present during their initial inspection and only gave them verbal details over the phone. So, my initial thoughts were that they didn't allow for my actual requirements, so I arranged for Dean to be present at a mutually convenient time to confirm my requirements, which he did and at the price quoted. I then proceeded in giving Tree FX the job, in which the boys arrived at 8.00am as promised on the scheduled date and did a fantastic job, while cleaning up all the mess after completion. I had also arranged with Dean for a large load of mulch to be delivered/left for a small nominal fee, which saved me hundreds of dollars if purchased from a garden center. As you can imagine, I am extremely pleased with all aspects of their service and would not hesitate in using them again in the future. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with the professionalism and work ethic of this organization.

We couldn't be home when the team came to do the job. So I trusted the team to do what Dean and I have discussed. A tree was uprooted during the high winds about 6 weeks ago and a lot of big trees needed pruning. When I got home from work, all the mess was cleared, the trees looked tidy, there's more light in the yard and the stump was neatly removed. Even the neighbour reported the work was done efficiently and quickly with a team of 3. They took care to remove pots in the way that might get damaged during the tree removal. Cost of one tree and stump removal, pruning of 6 trees cost $1650 including GST. Needless to say, I was very pleased and satisfied with the work and to Dean and his team.

Had Dean and his crew out today to remove a very large cypress tree (35 years old) close to the roofline of the house and bordering our neighbours fenceline.They were very organised and thorough, did a wonderful job bringing it down with no fuss or damage to the plantings underneath or near by. Dropped everything on our side of the brush fence. Hauled everything to the chipper and tidied up after and put two very large heavy potted plants back in place for me. We hired Tree FX for an Evergreen Alder tree removal from our backyard, as well as for the trimming of an overgrown hedge. These guys are one of the most professional people I have ever dealt with. We have used Dean Meyer and the TreeFX crew twice and on both occasions and they have proved to be a very professional outfit. They have been very courteous, followed our instructions, and provided very helpful advice on how to improve our outlook as well as maintain a healthy tree coverage of our block. Seriously impressed with these fellows. A 60 year old pine tree demolished my mum's 'everything' shed in a remote location. It took Geert and Alex a 9 hour day on Saturday, plus some time on the Thursday before, to turn this tree into firewood and mulch. Not only did these fellows work flatout all day but they were polite, friendly, courteous and helpful to my mum and my partner and I, all day, (Mum is over 80) which I was delighted with. They left the place, which is in the middle of the bush, so clean that even the chooks had a hard time finding something to scratch in! Absolutely fantastic job guys, really happy! Thank you for the manageable sized firewood and I hope you had a well earned rest on the Sunday.

Heared the guys around the corner in Nunawading and I had some green waste to mulch and a couple of overgrown shrubs and a tree branch in the front. Im sure they get the odd neighborhood jobs which can be frustrating understandably but spoke to Brent and he obliged for a reasonable price. I had a great experience with these guys on a large job (13 dead trees, mostly giant gums\messmates). Dean was very professional the whole way through, they were very reasonably priced, the team had the whole job done in less than a day. The job required a bobcat which didn't chew up the grass and he gave good advice, discussed options etc. the whole way through. They even dropped a few small trees for me at my request for no charge. We were very happy with Dean and his team. Several large fallen branches lodged in couple of tall trees required to be removed. It was not an easy job and they handled it well without damaging any other trees or bushes. They cut some other dry tree and stumps. All timber was nicely cut and left where we wanted it. They were very professional, friendly and flexible. They left our place tidy. They do communicate well about what and how they go about their work. We highly recommend them.

Dean, Scott and the team did a fantastic job at our place today. We had two large trees to remove - one of which was in a tricky location.. They also provided great advice on possum proofing (which we have a great problem!) and pruned back a number of trees plus put up guards to limit possum traffic and protect trees. A very professional group of fellows who did an excellent job in removing pine trees from our property. They directed the mulch pile directly where we wanted it, and left the logs neatly aligned. Very good communication and it was good having you work for us. We had around 10 trees and stumps removed back in March 2015. Dean was very professional from the beginning until the end. He was very flexible and knowledgeable. His team was able to remove all our trees without needing to cut through our fence! He even advised against removing some stumps as their roots may have attached to the pipes. His team did a great job and left our property clean.

Tree and stump removal of 4 pittosporums and pruning of our magnolia and liquid amber trees. I am extremely satisfied with the team from TreeFx. They came on Monday even in bad weather conditions. Dean knew that we had planned to remove the pittosporums that were up against our falling fence the day before having our fence replaced. He was considerate of our situation and ensured they were there to do the job when promised. The guys worked efficiently and had left the property in a tidy manner. We were very happy with Tree FX. They were very professional, patient and had a good sense of humour! They removed one enormously large silky oak, which had been storm damaged. They cut the trunk into 5, one metre lengths for the Forrest Hills Woodturners Association to collect and turn into sculptures and took these heavy lengths of trunk from the back of the yard to the front for the Woodturners to collect. A number of small dead & live trees were also removed. Another tall tree was trimmed where the possums had damaged it. All the wood that was not kept for the Woodturners was chopped up into fireplace size and the rest mulched for our use. So, a lot of work was done very quickly and efficiently with our yard left in tip top condition! The Forrest hills Woodturners came and collected the 1 metre lengths of silky oak trunk the next day to make their sculptures with. They were so appreciative that the wood had been left in the front yard for them to collect. Made it so much easier for them. At least the wood is being put to good use! Their final bill was under the amount that was quoted so that was an added bonus for us. Thanks so much everybody! Wendy

Tree Fx did a great job - it was a big job on a difficult site situated halfway up a large hill, necessitating several days of hard work - Dean & the boys were polite & friendly @ all times & left everything exactly as they said they would - at our request the wood was cut ready to be chopped into fire wood & the smaller & green leafed branches were mulched on site. The driveways were swept clear & the work was done in a safe & efficient manner. I highly recommend Tree Fx to anyone contemplating tree removal.

The service Dean provided when we had him removed a tree stump was excellent. He was arrived on time, did the job, clean up the site and provided advice how to kill off any future off shoots. Very polite and professional. As a result of our experience with him, we have asked him to remove a tree trunk this time. The quotes given by TreeFX are often cheaper than those quoted using our local papers.

We wanted a very old, very large Lilly Pilly and its stump removed from our front yard, as well as 2 Cyprus pines and a Camelia, and some pruning on 2 large neighbouring trees. We had a difficult (and big!) tree to remove from our property. The way Tree FX went about the job was not only very professional, it filled us with a great deal of confidence that all would be well. Additionally, anything that might have ben damaged by the process was removed before the men started and then carefully replaced afterwards. The entire site was also swept and left in a immaculate condition - you can't ask more than that! BTW - Tree FX arrived on time too!

We had a very large dying Yellow Box one metre from the back door, which had to come down. Dean came out to quote, and gave a fair quote and explained how the job would be done. (He also took a photo of our dog, which is very similar to his dog, and played with her while explaining things to me!) Not quite your normal tree lopping job for Tree FX. My husband's quadcopter managed to get caught in a pine tree, about 25-30m up...no way he could get it down and too expensive to leave and walk away. So he called Dean. We couldn't have asked for a nicer, more understanding or experienced climber to come out and retrieve the quadcopter. Returned to my husband's very grateful hands. We highly recommend Tree FX for their outstanding service.

They worked in great spirit with am impressive level of safety and preparation to remove limbs that encroached on neighbors building and would have surely caused damage if I had been silly enough to attempt it myself ... even with reasonable skills. It was easy to arrange a quote, and all the work required was clearly described and competitively priced. On the day the guys arrived exactly when they said they would, and (despite the heavy rain) started work straight away. They handled what I thought would be a tricky job with professional ease, placing the falling limbs exactly between fences, other trees, my property, etc! After they were finished the entire area was left spotless - my driveway was cleaner than when they arrived. I can not recommend these guys highly enough, if only all trades were this good.

I had six trees to be removed and one of them was a big old gum tree. My only scare was my brand new property and if they were not skilled enough they could damage it. To my surprise, after the completion of the job, there was not a mark on the walls, all intact and clean. I needed my golden elm cut back from around power lines. While it was a small job, it was tricky and the guys from TreeFX did the work safely and efficiently. We contacted Dean as we had a large iron bark tree loose a limb in our backyard, leaving the tree unsafe. I had a massive tree in the corner of my back garden and it was dropping large branches. I called a number of companies for quotes to trim, but Dean from TreeFX recognised a fungal infection that meant the tree was going to continue to be a problem. A check with local council arborists confirmed his diagnosis. TreeFX removed the tree after negotiating with a neighbour for access. They were well organised, good communicators, prompt, polite, hard working and cleaned up immaculately. I would recommend them to anyone! I am very grateful to them.

I contacted Tree FX with the intention of lopping a mature golden ash tree in our front garden. After a discussion with Dean Meyer he convinced me that the tree would look better in the short and longer term if the canopy of the tree was maintained, the outer limbs shaped and the centre of the tree cleaned up. We agreed this strategy and the work was completed this morning (27 May 2013) I was amazed and extremely pleased with the end result. Dean and his team were fantastic. I was very impressed by the passion and expertise of the team, the quality of their work and care they took to ensure the surrounding garden beds were not impacted by any of the falling branches. Overall I am extremely happy with with Tree FX and would recommend them without hesitation.

Dean expertly climbed and removed a large branch of a large lemon-scented gum overhanging neighbours' property. His ground team cut the wood into firewood, pruned an older Cootamundra wattle and a tall pittosporum hedge. Branches all chipped up. All done and cleaned up well in 3 hrs. A last minute call out to cut up a fallen 10mtr Acacia Vagilia which had come down over our back fence. Work carried out on Sat due to neighbiurs having to leave for a holiday. Treefx cut down some dead hanging branches from high up in a pin oak tree which were difficult to get to, as well as pruning an over-extending limb. They took out extra dead wood on the way, and removed all dead material plus the extra from the property. Treefx were only 1 of 2 businesses to reply promptly, and the only one to be able to come out quickly. Dean was very friendly, courteous and polite. He communicated in a very personable manner (unlike the other company quoting who handed over their quote with hardly a word before dashing off). Dean also gave advice as to the condition of the tree in general. I would highly recommend Treefx' services, and will call them for any future work needed.

We needed three large Cypress Pines completely removed including the stumps, from around our pool. Also, some other trees cut back from around our roof line and the trees down the length of our driveway cut back and one removed to stump level. Dean called to say when he would be here to quote and was very punctual. On the day of the job, they also turned up exactly when he said they would. He is very polite and professional. His team were also polite, friendly and very customer focused. Nothing was a problem, even when I asked for a few extra bits and pieces to be done on the day. They even replanted a tree that needed was suffering where it had beenand would have put Seasol on it for me if I had any. Was very pleased to see all the safety equipment being used and whilst they were fast workers, they were still careful and didn't rush things. They were respectful of our property and did a great job cleaning up when they left. Dean had even warned me on the day he quoted, that a few smaller plants may be slightly damaged in the area where they had to take the stump grinder through, but you can barely tell where they were as there is no real visible damage. I felt comfortable with them being around our property. He also told me how to prepare the soil from where the treeswere removed before planting anything new there. Fantastic service and would definitely use them again. A good honest guy. We have dealt with a lot of tradesman in the last 12 - 18 months with having a pool put in, landscaping and various other things and Dean and his team's work ethic far surpass any of them. It was such a relief to finally deal with someone so competent.

The team at Tree FX did a terrific job! We had a large tree cut down in quite a tricky spot between power line and telephone line. They removed and replanted a small bush that was in the way and as planned, successfully worked around some young saplings growing in the area. The scope of works that Dean and his team performed was to remove and grub two very large trees that were at least 50 years old in my backyard. A huge Queensland Brush Box and a gigantic Liquid Amber, as well as a large lemon tree. The context is to make way for a redevelopment project. Dean came over to quote and I have to say that from the very outset, his warm and friendly business like manner were most refreshing as he clearly knew his stuff, and was extremely understanding and perceptive as to what was required. Dean was the only one amongst the range quotes I received, that actually picked up that the lemon tree would also need to be removed. Others just looked at the two very large trees. He presented his quote to me on the spot professionally on TreeFX quotation form and we discussed access and some of the necessary practicalities re disposal of the timber and chipping. He was great and positive throughout. Dean set a date there and then, which was within a week and we sealed the agreement. The quote was very competitive and it needs to be said that having persevered with a range of competitors in the field in terms of getting quotes for the job. Dean's promptness and professionalism was outstanding. I actually felt completely relieved when we sealed the deal as having dealt with this difficult task (as I really cared for the trees that had to be removed) over a period of time and somewhat procrastinated and delayed it until it was absolutely a must for them to go, when Dean left I felt completely assured and totally relaxed that I was in the very best of hands. On the day the team were sensational and methodical and believe me it was a formidable task. They arrived as Dean said on time, did their set up and equipment checks, and got into it. It took them a day and as I said it was a formidable task. each of the team members including Dean, Brent ( Dean's brother) Jim and Shannon were extremely committed and hard working gentlemen. Each were so friendly and focussed. They chipped the material as they went and cut the larger branched and trunk methodically and precisely for laying on the nature strip which they all did and it was as neat as a pin. There was a heap of firewood cut in useable lots. They did a great job there. When finished they cleaned up faultlessly and on departing, they said that if there were any probs with whatever not to hesitate to call them. How good can it be? They were great! I was informed when Tim from TWR stump removal would come to grub the stumps and that happened as planned. Again the girth of the trees with the remaining stumps were formidable. Tim was like the rest of the team, a real gentleman and extremely friendly and professional and very understanding. Thank you Tim a great job done complimenting the great job done by other members of Tree FX. I am involved in the building industry and deal with a range of sub contractors. I will recommend Tree FX to all and sundry that requires this type of work done. I really just can't fully explain how good they were. I feel great as a result of contracting these guys and I know that anyone who has the privilege in dealing with them will feel the same way I do. Having trouble with possums in our big trees. Dean and crew came and cleaned up all the deadwood and pruned to prevent possums tranferring from tree to tree, then put possum guard in 7 huge trees we have on our property.. Two full days work and they were so careful with my garden, leaving the place tidy and cut and stacked the firewood..amazing!

Morton Bay fig growing on the fence line required removal. The fence had been damaged by the root system of the tree. We had overgrown stirling pittosporum's that were too tall for us to reach. TreeFX came along with their pruning pole and trimmed up all the overgrown branches, to allow for them to bush up and help create more screening for us. Dead tree removed from back yard. Elm tree at the front pollarded. Dean and his team did a wonderful job. Very efficient and tidy. Very good communication. Even gave us lots of free mulch for our garden beds. Dean is very knowledgeable and patient in answering our questions. Highly recommended.

We had a flowering gum hanging slightly over our house with a split in the tree. Tree FX arrived on time, took great care in removing the tree, cleaning the yard and taking the wood away. The team that showed up were very friendly and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend!!!

I recently had a large tree removed and was very impressed at how quickly and efficiently the work was done. The team of two arrived on time and had the work completed and the garden cleaned up before they left. They cut the wood to a suitable size and stacked it before they left which will be great for our woodburner in the winter. I thought the price was very reasonable for the size of the job. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dean to anyone.

Dean came to quote the day I called and they did a fantastic job lopping and tidying very tall trees and a very neglected hedge. Branches mulched and left on site for us to use on the garden and the large limbs taken away. Thank-you Dean - the view is beautiful.
