Thanks for the prompt delivery of air filter. just a heads up I looked inside the filter before fitting . It had strings of Glue criss crossing inside, probably from manufacturing . removed all of it . would not have bean a good thing for the MAF sensor . otherwise quality is good.

Ordered from Brett's trucks on a Wednesday morning at 6:30am. Purchased two indicator lenses and a brake relay for my truck. Paid for express post as I needed it urgently. Expected it to go out same day at 3pm as promised on there website. Didn't receive any notification of delivery by Friday afternoon so I called up at 3:30pm. Guy on the phone couldn't be less interested about my order. Claimed it had been sent out and I asked why not on Wednesday and he said so what’s the problem. Couldn't care less about customer service or the fact that my order was not sent out. 8 mins later my Auspost account updates and says item is being processed for pickup. Coincidence? Lists delivery as parcel post and not express post, called back and spoke to someone to clarify why it wasn't express? He said to write an email to them asking and then basically hung up on me. So I wrote an email and still have received no response. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. Would rather burn my own truck to the ground before purchasing thru them again

Prices are already great but when you buy 5 of any filter you only pay for 4 of them which is great if you do a lot kms or plan on keeping your vehicle for a long period of time. The quality of the filters is the best I've seen making the value even better. Postage cost is cheap too and your order gets sent within 24 hours. If I lived a little closer though I would just drop in and buy filters when I need them. So the option is great for customers who want to save even more as they don't restrict customers to online purchases only.

Rude arrogant ripoff‘s! How are these fools still in business. Enquired about a new turbo, went to purchase online half an hour later and they increased the price over $100.00. I phoned to ask about the price increase and was told if I don’t like it don’t buy it and hung up on. Now getting bombarded with many emails a day from them, which I never subscribed to. Shop around, there is better quality, better customer service and better prices out there!

I have bought a number of parts for my 2010 Turbo Diesel Pajero auto wagon over the past 5 years. I have always found their filters to be as good or better than OEM and a lot cheaper. Don't forget your cabin air filter also needs replacing. I have had a truly awful experience with Brett's Truck Parts. I ordered an oil filter via eBay for my vehicle which cost $13.95. I chose to buy through Brett's because I believed it was a reputable company. The filter arrived earlier than expected which was pleasing so on the weekend I set about doing an oil and filter change on my vehicle. After removing the old filter I compared it with the Brett's one and it looked identical. But when I went to fit it into the oil filter cartridge on the engine it wouldn't push into place. After several attempts I started to investigate and using vernier callipers found the hole in the bottom of the filter that fits over the spigot in the housing was 4mm smaller diameter than the old filter, hence the reason it wouldn't fit. This fact was not obvious when looking at the two filters side by side. Because I needed to have my vehicle running and wasn't willing to put the old filter back in with new oil, I had no other option than to buy a filter from the local parts shop at the cost of $26.95. As a result, I felt it was reasonable to ask Brett's for a refund plus the difference in the cost of the two filters as compensation for the inconvenience of being supplied a part that would not fit. I sent an email with my contact details to the company stating my request and soon after received a phone call from a company representative who treated me with absolute contempt for suggesting that I should receive any compensation because the filter didn't fit. He then proceeded to blame me, saying I hadn't selected the right part for my vehicle, despite the fact that the ad on eBay that I used clearly states the exact specifications of my vehicle. He also stated that 140 of these filters had been sold with no problems but according to a flyer that came with the filter the Japanese company who makes the filter has only recently started supplying these products to Brett's. He also made an extremely rude remark to me saying "are you a bit hard up?" in reference to me asking to be compensated for the extra cost of the filter I was forced to buy so I could use my car, rather than having my vehicle out of action for a week waiting for another filter to be supplied by Brett's. All up, it was a very traumatic and unpleasant experience and one that no customer with a legitimate complaint should tolerate. At the very least, I think an apology from Brett's for this appalling behaviour is warranted.

Excellent customer service and range of JS Asakashi Filters. These Japanese filters are of a superior quality with greater surface area and quality than some of the best out there. Just compare a JS Asakashi OE-0027 to suit most BMW's to other brands from Germany and you will see the superior construction. And the price is fantastic. I use nothing but, for my BMW and Honda now that I have discovered them through Brett's. Highly recommended product and supplier.

I recently ordered two air filters for my Triton. A few days later I collected my parcel from the Post Office but only one filter had arrived. Actually the price of two (including postage) was cheaper than buying one locally so I was already winning with the one that had arrived. The other one was going to be a spare. I decided to contact Brett's and spoke to a very decent person on the phone. He looked at my order and told me that he was sorry for the mistake and would send the missing filter out in the next mail. Not a problem. A few days later I received it in the mail. Recently went looking for what I thought would be a hard to find part but not only was it available after doing an internet search it was readily available. Comparing the prices with Brett's and the other company I caved about 25% and the part was in stock and sent the same day. The person on the phone was extremely helpful and when I asked about a part number being slightly different to what was broken on my truck he excused himself and went away and asked to confirm it would fit. I'm a first time Brett's Filters customer and apart from me discovering that, I'm 'not allowed' by them, during the online checkout process to add a small explanatory note to my order's delivery address label, to 'assist' the courier delivery driver, to make a successful first attempt delivery, I have to otherwise say that the rest of it all went well and the order was delivered to me in Brisbane via AustPost four days after I had placed it. Ordered a part online, specifically listed as aluminium with 90 degree fittings. Part arrived, cast iron with 45 degree fittings. Called and was informed that they didn't have the other part and I'd have to email them. I emailed, and at least the replied quickly. Their response was post it back at your expense. If they advertised the part correctly there wouldn't be an issue. The part is required urgently and is not what they advertised. I won't use them again. The price would have been good, if it was for the part they advertised. Postage was fast.

Just purchased a few spare parts for a Diahatsui Delta Tipper truck series V118 (Narrow Cab 2 tonne) Year 2000 Wing mirrors Left/right ball socket. Supplied with (Separate package) dummy ball with clamp and screws, The longer screws supplied, will replace the screws in the back of the mirror (For your interest) Side light/blinker lights, Left/right, one screw each side with electrical socket, perfect fit. Problem. Wiring completely different auto electrical knowledge required to rewire. Seat belt, drivers side, The original fits in the door reinforcing pillar, with cover plate. Fixings are top and bottom with web wound through guide to allow access back into the cab. Your generic belt does not replace this configuration, and cannot be fitted in this configuration. I have resolved the issues, my concerns are two fold, one to inform you of possible problems to avoid customer dissatisfaction, and two, to advise me if the 2000 model is a bit of a "Hybrid" I know Toyota started to become very interactive with the Delta before superseding it with their own brand. Like your website, sales and delivery are great, your range is great for older light truck operators, sure we will do business again

The worst customer service I have encountered. We paid for express post as we needed the part urgently. Brett's Truck Parts sent it regular post. When it arrived 6 days later I inquired as to why, their reply was "things happen". I requested my postage cost be reimbursed they refused and I was told to "go away now". I can't believe this company don't care when a customer reports a problem when they provide poor service and then tell me I am whinging!

Great service, wide range of filters. Not technically competent to comment on Filter performance, but the ones I have purchased are PREMIUM JAPANESE filters, not Chinese copies. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. The filters appear identical to their RYCO counterparts, for a fraction of the cost. I purchased a filter for my FJ Cruiser for $22.00 the same part at Toyota/Supercheap was $80.00.

Put in an order by 3pm Wed expecting it to be posted that night. Didn't get posted as no stock. They found 1/2 of my stock at 730am Thurs and organised to have couriered as I needed by the weekend. Eventually got half order by Monday as their courier does not deliver to the whole Sydney metro area on a Friday. Then waited a week for the rest of my backordered stock and they made ME pay for the postage! Never heard of it. And that is only half the story. Never received a delivery email so I had to ring both times for tracking number. Eventually paid $20.00 more than my original order and had to wait 5 days to get my stuff. I wish I had of bought from my local Sydney stores and not relied on a bunch of morons behind a fantastic sounding website that just does not deliver on what they say. And if you ask about why there customer service is so bad you get the dial tone. One place to steer away from if you want good prompt service.

The cheapest place I could find anywhere for a quality product. I was in need of a clutch kit for my Alfa Romeo. I particularly didn't want to go back to the car dealer I purchased my vehicle from so I did a bit of research and found Bretts Trucks.. I was quoted, by Bretts, $419.77 (with free shipping). I was a little hesitant in buying 'on-line', so I did some more research and found that the local parts shop wanted between $800-$1000 for the same clutch kit.. I then went back to Bretts and purchased the kit.. The next day the kit arrived and I saved my self at least $400 to $600.. Brett's Trucks had an error in their website and sent me the wrong filters with the correct description. I noticed they were not what I ordered and thought they had substituted a similar filter. Upon checking some weeks later the filters send were completely different to those described and ordered on the website. I had to send the wrong ones they send me back at my expense and they sent me the correct ones. They did not cheerfully do this but insisted I was wrong even though the website description was plain for all to see. So, if you have difficulties they are NOT helpful. I ended up getting the right filters but paid PLENTY MORE for them. Not a pleasure to deal with and you have to twist their arm to get a fair go once there are problems. FOUR out of TEN

The parts were ordered at approximately 1pm and the parts were delivered the next morning to Queabeyan. The parts were as described and the price was exactly as quoted. Run a small farm and put in order for some truck parts - they confirmed receipt of order, then confirmed parts had been despatched by 11am the same day. Parts arrived the next morning - have never received this level of service from local dealers - this company under promises and over delivers - love the freebies and the cost was around 30% of what I could get locally in SE NSW

anybody looking for a after market oil filter for you Honda bf-30 bf-40 and bf50 outboard, for 1/2 the price of a Honda one look hear! the filter No is 15400PFB014, i have cut the old Honda filter and cut this after market 1 in half and there the same, bout-time some body GAVE HONDA MARINE OUTBOARDS some comptition. well done Brett's............
