I always have an incredible experience when I come to this salon. They always try and make time for you even if they are fully booked. Margarita is an extremely talented colourist and stylist. On Sat I had a colour, cut and style done, which I was very happy with. It wasn’t rushed and they take the time to find a solution that’s right for your hair type. Recommend this salon whole heartedly.

I used to struggle every morning, but not any more, the hair just falls into place like although i just came out of the hair salon. Been getting heaps of compliments on the colour too. A rare find. Best salon, and hairdresser EVER....I have never had a hairdresser try to improve my hair long-term (rather than just colour/cut/style it on the day) but this is the first thing the stylists at Head Rush do. My hair hasn't looked this healthy and thick for about twenty years. The products used are seriously high-end, which you don’t find in most salons, very high-level professionalism and extremely thoughtful, personalised service. Ten out of Ten!!!

Great experience! My sister and I both had Hair straightening treatments done for the first time at Head Rush Hair yesterday. We tried the salon because of positive reviews and heaps of recommendations. We were not disappointed. The service is amazing and the girls are highly skilled and know their stuff. Really love this place. The best haircut and colour in Melbourne. I felt the most relaxed and pampered I have ever felt at a salon. They took time to understand exactly what I wanted and they certainly delivered an amazing result. The high end product range at Head Rush is dynamic, innovative and of superior quality compared to the big brand dinosaurs available in most salons. It was my first experience with the Davines (sustainable, paraben free, sulfate free) range and I was highly impressed by the natural fragrance and the condition of my hair post salon visit. A great coffee & head massage were the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend Head Rush hair salon highly enough. Can’t wait to get my hair extensions next week.

Found this hairdresser after reviewing on-line comments. Went in with a terrible colour and terrible cut and feeling very miserable. The team were very friendly and managed to fit me in later that day. Sarah and Margarita did my colour and cut and what a great miracle they performed. I recently had a cut and colour at Head Rush Hair Salon and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Making the change from a brunette to a redhead made me a little nervous. However, the professional staff consultation on hair colours that suited me was terrific. The staff put my mind at ease and gave me a great colour and cut, exactly the style I asked for. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Went to this salon recently after reading reviews on this site. I was not disappointed. Margarita gave me a fantastic consultation and then made sure I knew exactly what she was going to do. Both ladies working there were relaxed and friendly and I had a great experience. My hair looked exactly as I wanted and has been fantastic to work with in the following weeks. Her colour work is beautiful, the cut also. I got highlights and a messy bob which she showed me how to style/ curl. Have had a lot of compliments. I will definitely be returning to this salon even though I live an hour away. First time discount too even though I found the price to be very reasonable anyway! She did not push any products on me either. Great salon.

Had a great experience at Head Rush Hair! Went in for a wash, conditioning treatment, and colour/chop. The staff were very friendly, listened to what I wanted and gave me advice on what she thought would be best too. Ended up leaving feeling super happy and a week later, still loving my hair! Was recommended this place by heaps of people, so i thought id check it out. Its really nice to find a stylist who knows her stuff. The colour we did was simply extraordinary, the best ever. I was also taught how to style my hair better and look after the hair so my colour lasts longer. I love the organic Italian products they use. Overall amazing experience.

margarita did an amazing job on my strawberry blond colour, as i came in to the salon I was nervous but the atmosphere calmed me. Her knowledge and experience wowed me I finally found an awesome hairdresser that listens and does exactly what you are after, Yay no mucking about! my husband was the first one to discover the salon, he gets a cut and cutthroat razor shave, we are both over the moon and will be bringing my dad in for the awesome whisky shave. This is one of the first hairdressers that actually cuts my hair accordingly. I told the stylist that I wanted a short trim, and that is exactly what was done! Superb cut and style. Other places often would cut way too much off then I would ask. Very pleasant experience overall and definitely going to be a regular here. 5 Stars!!

Head rush is amazing! I went to a different place that totally damaged my hair. They practically turned it green instead of what I asked for (Ash Blonde). My hair was so dead and I was left devastated. A friend of mine recommended coming to Head Rush. I gave it a try and THANKFULLY they managed to remove ALL the damage caused by those fools that call themselves hairdressers at the other place. She also restyled my hair and made it look 100% again!! I could see that she was really sympathizing with me and she could see that I was distressed. She took her time and put in a lot of effort in her job. Such a relief that I have amazing and reliable people to turn to for hair advice, colour and styling! Life savers!

This place is great! They always do a fantastic job with colour. My hair is thick and dark which can make it hard to lift whenever I get highlights. However, the stylists always manage to make it look rich and "caramelly" without looking to brassy.

Had an amazing experience, I have really curly hair but Maggie did such an amazing job my hair sits well after 7 weeks and for me it's hard to keep it a nice curl after that time. Not only that but Maggie gave me a complementary blow ace and taught me the best way to dry it. Really impressed she went above and beyond always educating her clients. I came here years ago and girls used Goldwell it was okay but came out really orange blonde. I came to back last week and Margaherita used Revlon. I hate Revlon, my last visit to lady marmalade ended badly they used Revlon, It just didn't cover my grey's at all. Margaherita knows what she is talking about her experience in colors and cuts prove this. I had an amazing beige blonde with no orange and covered 100%!! I'm excited as finally I released its not the company but hairstylist. Well done Head Rush for getting Margaherita definitely the go to colorist and stylist. I recommend her highly.

The best haircut I have ever had!! I used to see Tina before she left, but Maggie did such an amazing job. I have never had a cut like this before I am so happy no words. Even after 5 weeks it sat amazingly. The service is amazing the place looks very modern.

I have been following Margarita since I meet her in Ivanhoe, when she moved to Sandringham, this is far to travel for me so I stayed with the salon she used to work with. Never again, my hair was wrecked and I had to find her to get it fixed!!! I have been following her all the way to the bay! She always listens suggests fashionable styles that suit my crazy life. I came here a year ago I had a bad experience, I was nervous to come back but when I heard that the stylist changed I gave it a go. The service delivered by Headrush was awesome, Margaritaa did a great job at giving my colour and cut a fresh new look. Even after a week my cut is sitting great and its easy to style.Very impressed will definitely be back. haven't had this service in a while. I will recommend this to everyone!!!

I have just returned to head rush after moving out of the area. I have had a great blunt bob cut and they styled it with a great soft curl. Loved the look and loved the products they used. I have blonde hair which is hard to get to shine, but the conditioner left a lovely healthy shine.

Margarita is a awesome hairdresser, as I sat in my chair I felt little nervous but when I had my consultation with her , she made me feel very comfortable I bought a picture of a style/colour that I wanted, we talked about how we can work towards this look and suit it towards me!! I don't look like Angelina lol but I had features she didn't and Margarita made me realise how we can accentuate the look!! Amazing award winning stylist great communication! Always updates her skill! The salon atmosphere is amazing, professional and relaxed. Finally a hairdresser that listens I recommend her 150%!!

I'm from Sydney but I get my hair done with them whenever I'm visiting Melbourne. The girls are extremely friendly and nice. They know each and every client by name. They know their stuff and their products. The prices are good, they don't charge an arm or a leg. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Good job you girls!!!

After trying many beauty salons for eyelash extensions I finally found a place that makes my lashes look natural and exactly the way I want. I never get irritation from the glues and they last a lot longer than others. The price is very reasonable also. The environment is very relaxing and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Head Rush for anyone who has eyelash extensions.

I have been a loyal customer of HeadRush for about 5 years now. I can honestly say the girls do a perfect job on my hair every time. The salon atmosphere is always happy and welcoming and I feel more like old friends than a client. We always have a great chat and laugh!! I always look forward to the massage lounges when getting my hair washed too. :) Love the girls and the salon!!!!!! 5 out of 5.

Julie and Tina are the hair extension specialists.... Head rush was recommended by a friend who has her hair extensions done there. My hair extensions now look so natural and the colour matches my existing colour perfectly. They use high quality hair at a very competitive price. I have never been complimented on my hair so much.... I am so happy with head rush's service and I highly recommend the salon...... Best hair extensions in town.......

Head Rush gave me the best colour and cut I have ever had! I moved here from interstate and was worried about finding a new hairdresser. After trying several other local salons and not being impressed, I was so happy to find Head Rush. They listened and delivered exactly what I wanted! The salon was modern, clean and relaxing. I didn't feel like I was in a production line and being pushed from one hairdresser to another. My services here are always personal and professional and my hair always looks great! Fantastic salon! The girls are always friendly, on time and take pride in their work. They use Goldwell hair colour which i find always leaves my hair feeling healthy and never fades like other colors I've tried in the past. The atmosphere is always pleasant and fun. I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years and highly recommend the salon.

The 2 girls (I've had my hair cut by both) here are so friendly and the whole salon atmosphere is totally unpretentious - which I love. They never try to push products on you either. Their prices are very reasonable compared to lots of other hairdressers, especially in the area, and it's the only hairdresser I've been to in a long time that didn't try to make awkward, fake conversation with you. We had a genuinely pleasant chat and I left feeling relaxed and happy. As for the haircut, I was very happy with it (I have a fairly simple short layers and a fringe style, so not sure how they are with more difficult styles...but they did do a thorough consultation beforehand) Finally, I loved that although my consultation, shampoo and cut was careful and thorough, I wasn't stuck sitting in the chair for hours...took about half an hour all up.
