I no longer rate this salon. Both my hairdressers have left, and this morning I was put on hold 3 times by some charmless nerd while trying to make an appointment. On the fourth try, I was told: you'll have to wait, someone else is using the computer. Not what a customer wants to hear from a receptionist. I certainly won't be back.

I needed a new hairdresser, and after reading reviews for lots of local salons I decided to contact Scamps…and I am extremely happy with that choice. The staff are friendly and there is a happy vibe. Most importantly though, I was able to explain what I needed and managed to walk out with exactly that! I’m looking forward to my next visit :)

My first time going to scamps, and from the minute I walked in, it was nothing but smiles and giggles. Such an amazing atmosphere, and so friendly. I have mental health issues and today was a bad day for me, but I still wanted to have some mum pamper time. Kate who did my hair was so understanding and kept me talking which helped me with not having a panic attack. I took advantage of their new to scamps package, and I am over the moon with my new hair!

Bree was my brilliant stylist! She understood exactly what I wanted. Bree made me completely at ease and her skills are amazing! She cut, highlighted and blow waved my hair. She blended my grey roots beautifully. Bree is a lovely young woman and I highly recommend her skills.. Scamps Salon was a warm and friendly place and I am extremely happy with their services and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this Salon.

Went to Scamps 10 days ago as a new client and had my hair done under their $99 cut, colour, foils and blow dry offer - excellent value. However there was some miscommunication between myself and Kate and it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I rang a week later under their 100% guarantee and Kate redit it yesterday. I am very happy with it now and Kate was marvellous making sure we were both on the same page with colour and style. I must admit I was hesitant about going back but so glad I did. I wasn’t made to feel that I was a nuisance at any time. I highly recommend this salon - very professional. Thank you Kate

I visited Scamps for the first time and I was not disappointed. I had Mariola for a root touch up and trim. The colour was perfect and the cut was the best I had in years! Felt like I got my money’s worth and enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be going back again.

I am VERY fussy about my hair and like it cut a specific style (not ordinary). I've only had 4 hairdressers in my whole lifetime. I needed a new hairdresser and so decided to try Scamps based on reviews. I have not been disappointed. The staff are great. The prices are great. And Mariola is an amazing hairdresser (A Perfectionist). EVERY SINGLE TIME I come away incredibly happy. Hairdresser for life now.

Rang up at the last minute for a haircut and they asked how quickly I could get there. Thanks for fitting me in while my hairdresser was currently having her second child. I was offered tea or coffee but only needed water. This is a lovely touch. Left with my hair much neater and a goodie bag. Great first time experience here

I went in to Scamps for the $99 new client package and was really nervous to get my hair done for the first time. As it turns out I needn't have worried, Liz was absolutely wonderful, she immediately put me at ease. She knew exactly what highlights and style would look good on me. I left with a fabulous cut and a colour that was still me, only better. I had a fantastic first experience at Scamps, I will definitely be going back!

What an amazing salon and such lovely staff. After a disappointing visit to a different hair salon previous, who really made quite a mess of my transforming from long to short hair, Scamps saved the day. Nothing was too much trouble and no part of the process was rushed. I felt like my day at the salon was real treat and felt truly pampered. Don't be put off by the fact that this salon is not on the high street in the CBD, this salon is up there, if not better than any I have been to and paid top city prices. Well done girls.....I will definitely be back for sure.

After reading so many fantastic reviews I finally decided to book myself in and give them a try. Today was the big day, I took advantage of the $20 new client discount. Upon arrival I was seated immediately and shortly after a very nice young lady asked me a few questions and then attempted to redo my hairstyle, I was in need! 30 minutes later I was very happy with the result, it was the change I was after. Courtney you saved me today & for that I can not THANK YOU enough xx Disaster had hit when I decided to lighten my hair at home with bleach and being around a level 3 (dark brown, almost black) colour prior I'm sure you can work out from here where I went wrong!!!!! YES that's right, I was nothing other then an orange looking opaloompa from Willy Wonker & the Chocolate Factory! Courtney did it and she was more than happy to chat with me regarding what I wanted and gave me good advice and feedback. She gave me the BEST haircut I think I have ever had. I have naturally big crazy curly hair, she didn't shy away from it & knew exactly how & what style of cut that was needed. A bonus of a real coffee from your fabulous coffee machine and it was made in record time too. I have just moved into the area, so had the daunting task of finding a hairdresser. Well I didn't have to look far. My first visit was today and I could not be happier. Chantelle Cut my hair , which was way overdue and gave so much information for my hair. She is a very polite and professional young lady. I attended the Morphett Vale salon for the first time last Saturday after my sister recommended them. I saw Chantelle and had a cut, colour and blow dry. I was very happy with how my hair turned out and I can't wait to go back. As requested, they were willing to cut my wavy hair dry (other salons have insisted on wet cuts, which usually work out too short). Chantelle sought to understand just what I wanted as well as offering helpful suggestions and I am very happy with the result. I think I've found my hairdresser.

I attended Scamps Hair Studio, Morphett Vale for the first time today and can highly recommend their services. All staff were very professional and friendly and have an exceptional knowledge. Chantelle did such an amazing job with my hair, it was a challenge and nothing was too difficult for her. I have been goings to Scamps for 20+ years over 3 different locations and find them absolutely wonderful. My partner has also been going there since we met several years ago and he is also very pleased with their service. After being very disappointed with a recent haircut I was very nervous about returning to a hair salon to try and salvage my hair. I have nothing but praise for Chantelle who worked a miracle, I thought I would have to have it all cut short. The atmosphere is really nice, not intimidating like some hair salons. I was really happy with my hair cut and will be going back again. I had finally found a good hairdresser then she retired due to ill health, since then so many bad cuts from so many different salons! But today I met Sue she listened, explained my hair and took her time to get it right just what I had wanted. I was so anxious that it would turn out wrong even though I took a realistic picture of the style, some how I would always come home with a completely different look even with pictures. I would then live in dread of my next cut and thinking what salon should I try next. So thank you Sue, I will definitely be back

New to the area I thought I would give them a try. Sharn was in charge of me & listened to what I wanted & needed. First the colour then shampoo & trim up cut. No more grey!. Just dried off my hair for me and not an actual blow dry as such. Was happy with that as I explained I was on a budget. Colour was fab! Now, I have just washed & blow dried my hair a few days later & it has to be one of the best cuts I've had in ages. It just falls into place beautifully & the colour & shine is brilliant. I will definitely be sticking to this salon as long as I am upright. Sitting in the chair and hearing how lovely they spoke to all their other clients was just wonderful. Well done ladies!

Scamps is my new favourite hairdressing salon. The ladies in this salon are really friendly and extremely talented. The girls are one of very few that actually listened to what I wanted and delivered an excellent result. I also received a voucher for being a new customer and for my birthday. I decided to become a perm model by one of their apprentices. It was well supervised and the apprentice was confident and more than competent. I have had perms over the last 30 years but this one was magnificent. The best one yet. It was just as I wanted it. I was really happy with the cost and service provided. The salon is clean and uncluttered. It is bright and cheery. A great experience all way round.

I went to Scamps today for a cut, colour and foils, after my initial appointment for a haircut with Jess 6 weeks ago. Jess did an amazing job, and my hair looks and feels great. Along with her happy and nothing is too much trouble attitude, all the girls did a great job today handling a difficult situation with the phone and eftpos lines being down, and having to explain continually to customers. They all did it with a smile and great service. I was especially impressed at the way a difficult customer was handled. Jess smiled through it and returned to continue my hair as if nothing had happened. A nice salon with a great customer focussed team.

A while ago I was a hair 'model' for an apprentice friend who tried a root fade on my hair, which basically turned my hair into two distinguishable blocks of colour. I went into Scamps at Aberfoyle Park where Meagan, with the help of a few of the other girls, spent hours fixing my hair and getting it to where it is now, and I could not be happier! Would recommend them to everyone!

After a bad experience I was recommended to have my hair repaired by Chantelle. She did an amazing job and I have been coming to her ever since. I love the atmosphere in the salon, everyone is so friendly and very professional. Chantelle knows exactly what she is doing and listens to what you want. I have been on chemo and she has made me feel completely relaxed about hair loss and styles to cover it up. I could not recommend this salon highly enough and love love love the girls. You will leave very happy with your style.

I regularly get my hair cut and/or coloured at Scamps by Ashley and have done since I first went to Scamps after a hair disaster at another business. The service is professional, friendly, quick, comes with a bonus hot drink (mine's a cappuccino) made to your liking and is without the usual salon product sales pitch making for a relaxing visit. Prices are about what you would expect to pay in any salon for the same service. Shoulder length ladies haircut is around $45, 3/5 head foils (2 colours) approx. $125. I'd definitely recommend this business and Ashley's services to any of my friends without hesitation.

I have been a customer for many years now and have always been pleased with my cuts and colours. Ashley is amazing and listens to what you want and provides suggestions. I love different hair styles and bright colours so we have fun together experimenting. My last style was all upto Ashley though and I received the most comments, perhaps I should listen to her more, rather than her doing what the customer wants! Everyone in the salon is friendly and Ashley really cares, not just about your hair but you.

I have been a client of Scamps for a few years now. I was looking for a good local hairdresser and they came recommended. I had my hair completely restyled there (short style). I regularly have colour touchups and foils done, as well as cuts and blow-drys. Only on one occasion I have I been unhappy with the colour and, when I called to say I wasnt happy, I was immediately booked in to have the colour re-done - at no cost. I have always found the staff to be friendly, receptive to my thoughts on what I wanted, and happy to make other suggestions. I think the fact that, after 30 years, I still use the same salon is testament to the great work done by all of the stylists. I'm always asked if I've been happy with the colour and cut. I arrived in Adelaide 7 years ago and spent the first 18months trying a number of the 'top' salons where I not only found the prices to be excessive but I did not once come out with the style and colour I asked for. I was recommeded to Scamps and have Ashley as my hairdresser. There are few young hairdressers in my opinion who actually have the confidence to advise you on the style or cut that will best suit you. Ashley does this and my hair cut and colour are always perfect. Both my children go to her now and they too get the cut and style they ask for, they will not go to anyone but her. All the girls work very hard and are very friendly. Well done to you all.

My hairdresser Ashley is fantastic. She did a style cut for me on Friday 12/07/13 which I absolutely love. I had quite long hair and she cut it into a graduated bob that just sits underneath my cheek bones. She took the time to complete it to perfection and put my mind at ease through the whole cut. Every person has given a very high quality of service & advice & I especially love the cuts. As I have a scalp problem with tinting the staff go to great lengths & time to keep the tint directly off my scalp so that I don't get a bad reaction. Ashley is my hair dresser. She reminds me of me, but 20 years younger! She is an amazing hairdresser and is an absolute perfectionist. She listens to what I want but most importantly I trust her knowledge and experience to make recommendations. Recently I went from having long hair past my shoulders to a concave bob. Would definitely recommend Ashley at Scamps. Her cuts are always great. She takes time to find out what you want and always checks that you're happy with what she's done before you leave the salon. Ashley was also very patient and helpful when my teenage daughter "wanted something different" but wasn't sure what would suit her. The colour and streaks that Ashley came up with were just perfect.

After reading so many positive comments on Word of Mouth, I decided to go to the Saloons website, where I found a package for the first timers at the saloon. I thought of giving them go so I called up and made a booking. The package included a cut, 10 foils, base colour, blow dry and a treatment. I was quite looking forward to it. Last night I went for my appointment at 5.30pm . I was told to take a seat and the hairdreeser who the booking was made with was advised. I made a mistake dying my hair at home and COMPLETELY fried it. I needed it fixed ASAP before work. Someone put me in touch with the wonderful staff here and they were so generous as to let me come in before the store opened and fix me up and made my horrible yellow hair into a lovely natural blonde. My only complaint was that the trainee or assistant they set to blow dry my hair was very rough and didn't actually dry my hair. Otherwise, as always, Scamps is a wonderful, cost-efficient business for all ages and I would recommend it to everyone!

I came to these guys for help after Stunners Hair & Beauty at Woodcroft ripped me off. I paid $75 for half a head of foils and my hair didn't look like it had anything done to it at all. On top of that they refused to fix it and were so disgustingly rude, I've never been treated like that. Scamps at MorphettVale were so lovely and even though they were fully booked they squeezed me in as they too were so shocked by the deplorable state my hair was in. Chantelle is a fantastic manager and a true professional and did a great job to fix what should gave been done and my hair looked lovely. If you want to feel confident that you're spending your money on a salon that will look after you and leave you satisfied, go to Scamps at MorphettVale.

I never check a full five stars for anything, but Scamps is definitely worth it. The ladies always listen and help with whatever I want to do with my hair. As a uni student, I really struggle to justify spending a lot of money getting my hair done, but Scamps is the cheapest I've found and the quality is always better than the more expensive places. All the girls take the time to smile and say hello, everything is always clean and the products are definitely high quality. You're always offered tea or coffee and it comes with complimentary biscuits. In particular, Lauren is amazing. She describes what each product she is using does and always does exactly what you ask her. She's difficult to book since she's so popular but definitely worth waiting an extra week to see her. For a half head of foils, toner, a tint, blow dry, cut and straightening, I'm always charged around 150 dollars. 170 at most. Other salons have quoted me around 260 or even 290 for this service.

I took her up on her suggestions of hair style and I must say its one of the best cuts I have had in a long long time. She even took her time with the cutting process and I never once felt that she was rushing.

I have attended scamps on three occasions now and I am delighted with the quality of my colour (it lasts) and haircut. I am a mature aged lady and I was not treated as a 'past it dowdy lady'. I am a nurse and several of my clients have commented on my 'modern' smart hairdo and I feel and look younger. I recently had my hair done for a job interview and I got the job, it helped my confidence. My manager says my bright smart hair makes me look younger. The staff are very attentive, caring and professional. I would recommend Scamps very highly.

I walked in having a flat down day & wasn't quite sure what to do with my hair. Within a few moments I felt confident in Jo restyling my hair. It is always a bit scary when you do something out of your comfort zone...but Oh so glad I did. Been going here for my hair for several years .. lovely relaxing friendly atmosphere, great service. They are happy to spend as much time as you need to clearly identify what you want, give lots of suggestions and generally try to ensure you get what you expect/want. Also have a reward card, so after a certain number of cuts, colours etc, you get freebies!

had my hair cut and colored last night. Went to work & shopping today and have had a wonderful day with complements from everyone I met about how wonderful the style and color is. kept being told its taken 10 years off my looks, & even my son's noticed I had my hair done! Kerin discussed and & explained all the different options with me and her advice and skills produced this wonderful result. All the girls were lovely to me it was a relaxing experience and I highly recommend Scamps.

I have been a client for 15 years and have not been disapointed once. Many of the staff have been employed for years, so that says something about the loyalty of staff and clients. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff "listen" to what you want. They have training once a week and that is what I like - up with the latest.

Broken nail 3 days before Xmas ...........aarrggghhhhh !!! Got an appointment the next afternoon. The nail technician was very warm & friendly. Complimented me on my nail polish and even though it was only a build-up, I was treated as if I was spending heaps in the salon. After spending the previous week in hospital, it was great to be made to feel special and pampered.

I have been in Adelaide for over ten years and to finally have found a hairdresser that listens and then cuts your hair exactly the way you ask is fantastic. On the spur of the moment I decided to try Scamps and was promptly seen by Lauren. The whole experience was friendly and professional. I've been coming along to get my hair cut and/or coloured at Scamps for about 20 years. I travel from town to get there. Kim is an absolute champ and I wouldn't get my hair cut by anyone else. I met her when she first started working at Scamps and have followed her progress over the years. People often compliment me on my hair cuts & colour. Even though it is a bit of a drive to get to Scamps, it is worth the effort.

Clair is just an outstanding hairdresser and knows exactly how to cut and colour my hair. I really notice when sometimes one of the others do it. But the whole salon always seems so busy that you have to book well in advance

Scamps has been my salon now for many years and every now and then i have been tempted to try elsewhere, just for a change, but i have never been 100% happy and always return to Scamps. The salon is always clean and modern, I LOVE the girls and over the years have seen young girls start their apprenticeships at Scamps and everyone of them have received top training and experience and have all turned out to be fabulous hairdressers and friends. My daughter and I have been clients for a long long time with Emma (previous Manager) when Emma left to have her baby it was a concern to continue at the same place - not really needing to get to know the other staff before - so it was all risky. We booked for our usual 6 weekly appointment and Lauren took great care of us. then for our next visit Lauren was going to be on holidays. Once again this was a concern. But to our delight Delia, Jess and Mel took great care of us today and we are booked in again with this team in 6 weeks. It does take a long time to establish a good relationship with hairdressers but it is pleasing to know that skills and friendliness is an important part of the Scamps team's . service. I cannot speak highly enough about this "gem" hairdressing salon. The staff are highly trained and the service given is second to none. I personally travel 3 hours (living on the Yorke Penninsula) to attend my appointments......why you may well ask....well the answer is simple, I receive professional service with a smile, the staff make me feel special each time I go to the salon...but topmost I always receive a beautiful haircut and/or colour.I have no hesitation in recommending this Salon to anyone who wants quality and it comes at a very reasonable price. A hairdresser is indeed an asset to any woman and to have one who knows just what they are doing is such a joy... I have been told many times "your hair looks great".....immediately adding the question "where do you get your hair done?" and I proudly tell them that it is Scamps.......a gem indeed.

I have been going to Scamps now for nearly 20 years and would not dream of going anywhere else unless I literally physically could not get there! The staff at Scamps have always been competent and friendly and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. Additionally, the staff take their time explaining what is available and they give honest and professional advice to their clients regarding options and whether it would suit. I would recommend Scamps to anyone who wants a great haircut and/or colour treatment etc. with superior service by consumate professionals with a smile.

The service at scamps hair and beauty was fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming and they really went out of their way to make me feel like I was being pampered. After being laid off at work, I decided to get my hair cut at another salon to make myself feel better, but what I got was a complete hair disaster. I walked into scamps a teary mess (as if things couldn't get worse for me at that time) and was greeted by sympathetic staff who went out of their way to, not only fix my hair, but made me feel fantastic during the process. I will continue getting my hair done at scamps and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a hairdressing salon that listens to your needs, makes you feel a million dollars and pampers you from the moment you walk through the door.

The price of haircuts is value for money, the staff are very young and are very friendly, ideal for the whole family. The place is a no frill, but is very clean and you are in and out very quickly especially if your time is valuable.
